This album was his most cohesive, but it is an EP. Having said that, those 5 tracks are more robust and beautiful together than anything else in his library.
Ernest Perez Jr Just to name a few of you haven’t found them yet: Aphex Twin, especially his earlier ambient work. Boards of Canada naturally, my personal recommendation are their Campfire Headphase album as well as their In the Country EP. also there is Moby’s instrumental works. Also, Khraungbin if you prefer more psychedelia ambient. Aside from that there are a lot more obscure and soundcloud artists I could name, but it’d be hard to categorize them. DM me if you want some more recommendations, the world needs to listen to more of this music
WHAT? are you trying to say that Clams and DOOM did a track together? I havent really lived till this moment I guess.. this might be even called DOOM CASINO.
nah, Im actually serious. Im a huge fan of DOOM and a super huge fan of CLAMS so the fact I havent heard about this track makes me feel like Ive been living off borrowed time.
12 years ago I was listening to this with my 3 closest cousins our summers seemed endless but now as adults we’re completely distant every now and then I come back to this song to re live the memories too nostalgic.
One of them tunes that comes so close to perfection that you can't help but feel it has been tailor made for you. Will never be able to put this one into words.
I’m in the middle of having a very peculiar acid trip I’m enjoying the souls and energy that are in the comments it’s like I can feel all your individual life’s moments flashing in my brains I love you guys
Only ever heard I'm God, decided to click on a random other song by Clams Casino on the side and happened to be this song. Only 1 minute in and im literally in love with it, i am debating whether to go as far to say i enjoy it more than I'm God. So deep
I basically did the same thing. I've been into 'I'm God" for a while now and thought I'd check out another CC song. This shit is dope. Not as dope as 'I'm God." That song is untouchable. But yeah, don't feel bad, not sure what made Zach so mad. *Shrugs*
10 years later I'm watching "Aguirre, the Wrath of God" for the first time (what the video in this is from) and wow. Just wow. As soon as that scene with him slowly panning and looking around I started to hear this in my head and had to pause the movie to listen to this. Art. Highly suggest the film BTW
It’s 2019, and Rainforest EP is still one of the best instrumental tapes out. Also Aguirre, the Wrath of God is an amazing movie for anyone who hasn’t seen it.
whenever I run while listening to music, I occupy my mind by visualizing the best way to represent the encompassing feeling of the music I listen to through music video. in my opinion, you have captured the sort of "essence" that runs through me when I close my eyes and listen to this song. thank you. and I love the ending.
Yes klaus kinski, he was actually in WW2 as a German Wermacht soldier, he was shot and Injured in war, came back home and his parents were both dead from allied bombing raids and his city was completely gone, I think it definitely affected him in a horrible way, a person can only tolerate so much pain and trauma
this song is beautiful. clams casino makes such good tunes. also the clips from this movie go perfectly with the song. i wish i could remember what the movie was called.
So the video is taken from a German film about Spanish Conquistadors, and yes, the film is in German. In a history class I took first year of university, some girl raised her hand and asked our prof if the film was a documentary. Brilliant!
The Spaniards are searching for "El Dorado" in the movie, thinking they will find gold beyond their wildest dreams. As they trek through the jungles, they capture native's and keep them as slaves. As they become more lost and are running low on supplies, more of the natives scope them out and start killing them off without even being seen. The movie basically ends with the main character " 1:33 " all by himself on a raft, going crazy. He says "I, the Wrath of God, will marry my own daughter and with her I will found the purest dynasty the world has ever seen. Together, we shall rule this entire continent. We shall endure. I am the Wrath of God!" and then the movie ends. i was disappointing by the ending. but its more of a metaphorical ending
I found this song way back in maybe 2016? Watched the movie the clips are from bc I was curious. Freshman year of college (2017) I wrote an entire analysis of this movie (Aguirre, the wrath of god). Still one of the most enjoyable papers I’ve ever written, and this song honestly encapsulates the emotions the end of that movie invokes perfectly. Thank u clams casino :)
I havent had sex in 4 and a half years because I found out I had testicular cancer. I just stopped. I got weird around people ,trust no one and dont even want sex with one single person. . Period . It's just not fun. Seems like a terrifying experience and stresses me out. Sex is meant for feeling good and Expressing love and I don't feel good and I dont have love. The shits about to hit the fan. It's not a big deal because all of creation is about to implode and all we know will burn within a few hundred years. Maybe you will be hearing this when it happens. Nice intro to eternity.
because it has such a original flow to it... something to chill to and really get into deep thought hahha its something different thats why i enjoy listening
I don't know who this clams casino artist is...but I've heard I'm God and now this...and I love this sound. Really cerebral vibe. Makes me feel almost nostalgic for the future, if that makes any sense. It's just a really unique surreal sound. Love it.
Great detective job! This is why the internet is great, I was wondering the same myself and scrolled down to find you already did the legwork. A+ Comment, would read again.
I wasn't ready for this.. I couldn't possibly have been.. Closed my eyes and suddenly I was walking through a dense blue forrest.. I can't get it loud enough! Replay.
Clams Casino is like the Boards of Canada of hip hop. Very nostalgic, very trippy, borderline spiritual
well said he just needs to release a cohesive album
This album was his most cohesive, but it is an EP. Having said that, those 5 tracks are more robust and beautiful together than anything else in his library.
Is there similar artists out there?
Any artists that make this type of music ?

2011-2013 was such a good era, too much good shit was being introduced, it gave birth to da internet hipster rap and soundcloud rappers
trueeee

nah, Im actually serious. Im a huge fan of DOOM and a super huge fan of CLAMS so the fact I havent heard about this track makes me feel like Ive been living off borrowed time.
it was an exiting time
***** thanks for letting me know. i knew bayside ep before but honestly i didnt really like it.
12 years ago I was listening to this with my 3 closest cousins our summers seemed endless but now as adults we’re completely distant every now and then I come back to this song to re live the memories too nostalgic.
that's crazy bro

Life happens- along the way there’s things worth repeating. I’d reach out for a repeat. Get the fam back out and share, watch Fitzcarraldo.
One of them tunes that comes so close to perfection that you can't help but feel it has been tailor made for you. Will never be able to put this one into words.
9 years later and I still can’t put it into words man
that deep voiced vocal at the end makes my spine shiver every single time I listen to this.
I know what you mean, the song fades out and then the deep voiced vocals appear one last time. SO good.
Timbs exactly fam
this tune hurts even more now that my life did a 180. im sorry to those who i let down, i promise i tried. i love my girlfriend so much
Its crazy how he can come up with these mixes. Very fluid
@@AmberAmbiance I agree. Hes definitely in that upper circle of genius'
why is clam casino beats sooo fucking crazy like damn this nigga is sick
Very Chill And Relaxing :)
the homie clammy has a vibe like no other

Klaus Kinski and Clams Casino... what a surreal combination O.O
The video with the song just go so well, it has kept me coming back for months.
Agree... Perfect match this is by far one of my fav Clams beats ever made.
I had this same thought
Not great when you have to pee though lol
It is pure inspiration.
We are all driving ourselves to a different kind of hell
Schiz Johnson one of my fave YT comments for a while
Idk how or why but your art has gotten me through some crazy shit over the past 8-10 years and still is. All love

I did the same thing I was listening to I'm the devil, then god, then this.... Its a really good song I feel the vibes it gives off. Super chill
literally just did the exact same thing haha
safe
Check out The Fall. That is a great song, though there is no video for it.
I’ve been listening to this for years, there’s just something about it that relaxes me. :)
this will forever be one of my favorite songs
Yeet
Rainforest EP is superb. Some of the best sounds i know to this day!
This is one of the very few occasions where i had found something both unique and beautiful at the same time
10 years later I'm watching "Aguirre, the Wrath of God" for the first time (what the video in this is from) and wow. Just wow. As soon as that scene with him slowly panning and looking around I started to hear this in my head and had to pause the movie to listen to this. Art. Highly suggest the film BTW
One of CC's best. Perfect visuals to match.
I will listen to this until the end of days.
This song... is a great song to reminisce to, all the people i've met and the places i've been.
Life is good.
timeless, one of clams' best
It’s 2019, and Rainforest EP is still one of the best instrumental tapes out. Also Aguirre, the Wrath of God is an amazing movie for anyone who hasn’t seen it.
Clams is going to school for physical therapy, but his music and fan made videos are definitely emotional therapy in itself.
2019 here anyone? When the bass drops at 0:20 I was literally blown away sky high to dreams, vibes, hope and positivity by this magnificant track ❤️
I've never seen a producer who uses voices to the quality that Clams Casino has. His voice game is grade A.
Clams proofs that instrumental hip hop doesn't need vocals
Klaus Kinski and Clams Casino, two of my favorite artists.
whenever I run while listening to music, I occupy my mind by visualizing the best way to represent the encompassing feeling of the music I listen to through music video. in my opinion, you have captured the sort of "essence" that runs through me when I close my eyes and listen to this song. thank you. and I love the ending.
Aguirre, the Wrath of God is such a weird film. Werner Herzog and Klaus Kinski such an odd combination, yet I can't get it out of my head.
Putting this song to this movie is a stroke of absolute genius.
It seems like an alternative soundtrack for Aguirre, approved by Herzog himself. Love it.
En la escena final de la película, siempre me pregunté qué hacia un barco en la copa del árbol. Escucho a Clams desde su primer álbum debut ❤️🇲🇽
This song feels like death and rebirth.
I listened to this while I was tripping, it made me want to just lie down in the floor, I was in pure euphoria listening to this.
He'll yea I have done the same . It is a comforting fear.
clams what would we do without u??
That's a great question, probably listen to susumu hirasawa
This dude was the best German actor ever he was also very crazy in his interviews
This song makes me feel like a leaf just floating away in the wind. Got so damn high I'm shouting in my mind I became wind walker again.
One the most moving songs I've ever listened to.
This video.... to this music..... forever transcendent...
Clams is a beast, Clams Casino and Nick Rio have to be my two top favorites
been tripping natural ballz to this song since 2012. mind blower!!!
songs not long enough, needs to go FOREVER

You don't need to be high or drunk to appreciate any music. It's a permanent state of mind!
I'd call this my favorite clams song, but then again they're all my favorite
Rubikx same
