  • Getting into GA on US Route 129, is that Marathon Gas Station in NC or GA? then driving around Atlanta until jumping on I-75 heading SOUTH.
Cheap gas in GA as pretty much everywhere in the States except NYS, Illinois, California and rest of the liberal left-wing states with very high taxes on pretty much everything.
For those not used with gas prices in the States, what you see in the video is $3.399/gallon and 1 gallon = 3.8 liters, therefore about 90c/liter regular gas, diesel a bit more expensive than gasoline.
Enjoy the ride and always drive safely.

For many years Georgia had the best roads in the nation., Other states have caught up. During 70s I-75 going south out of Atlanta was the busiest freeway in the world. Georgia has the worst drivers in the nation, the closer you get to the middle of the state, the worse they get.

Nice video, Chris. It's always interesting to see Georgia's freeways. The state definitely has the widest freeways on the east coast of the US. By the way, the gas station is most likely in Georgia because it started right where the "GEORGIA STATE LINE" sign was posted.
    Enjoy your weekend,
    Alex

Nice video, Chris. I lve that you stopped at the Pilot truck stop. This is just 6 miles from where I live in Warner Robins. I drive I-75 almost every day. Can't wait to see more of your trip! Good luck and drive safely!

Hello, I am a French student . My school offered me to come to Georgia. If I want to be selected to come a few weeks, I have to create a project to study georgia. The selection of students will be done exclusively on the draft study they offer, a project that will justify a trip to Georgia. The goal is to better understand the country through an aspect of culture , history , arts, professional, its educational system , its economy or else... So, what do you think is more interesting to study about Georgia, your country ? Thank you so much if you give me an answer ! :)

+Demoiselle Bailarina I would say history and culture, in other words the Southern traditions.
I'm gonna post some links of my Georgia vids and it's up to you how you use them in your project:
      Savannah, GA:
      ruclips.net/video/dyuWEgjmoOo/видео.html
      ruclips.net/video/NcsGK_GGep8/видео.html
      Atlanta, GA:
      ruclips.net/video/gc5InTqQrA0/видео.html
Downtown Atlanta plus a visit to CNN Center:
      ruclips.net/video/vdJHBrZtSMA/видео.html
Ask Q's if you have any.
I wish you all the best.
      God Bless.

      +Demoiselle Bailarina You're very welcome.
Try your best cause you wont regret it.
Plus while in Georgia AND in case you already have a French driving license (DL), get an international DL before you leave France so you can rent a car from anywhere in USA and drive anywhere you want, mostly neighboring states of Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, etc.
Try to come to Georgia btwn March and Nov when temps are mostly summer-like AND you'll be able to go to the beach in neighboring Florida.
All the best in your project, don't fail it, and ask Qs if any.
      God Bless.

Very beautiful state, if you go to my 2011 All-American Summer Vacation Playlist, lots of videos about GA including Savannah and Atlanta, music kind of sucks cause last year wasn't aware on how to insert your own music on the original video.
    Stay safe.
    Chris
PS I'm not a local so obviously mistakes ARE humanly possible when getting from one interstates into another, also been on vacation sometimes you don't pay attention on the shorter connections onto your final destination, I-75 in this case.
