Hi, great question! This would depend on what API’s are available within the API Gateway. I’m not familiar with all of the API’s that are available for IDM and I don’t see one that specifically updates an attribute but you might be able to create a new version of the document with the updated attribute. After I upload a document, how do I edit it's attribute and security? I uploaded a document with security ACL = CSF Defined. Now it does not even let me delete it.
Your IDM administrator will need to add you to a security role that is associated with this ACL. The ACL defines what permissions you have to the documents, even documents you upload. You may have Create permissions but not Delete permissions in this ACL so you can add files to it but not delete them. If you are an administrator you can give yourself the IDM-SuperUser security role. The IDM-SuperUser bypasses the ACL and gives you permissions to all files uploaded to IDM.
