You know someone is a OG sorted watcher when they say "sorted" when the dish is finished :)
She's been saying it for years, but still could be a nice cheeky wink.
butt first...
Do brits drop the T? I mean like "SOR-ED!"
@@diynevala not all of 'em, I think the dropping of "T" in speech is more prevalent the more northern you go. I'm the farthest thing from a Brit so I don't know. However, as an observer, it would seem like every other city in the UK has a different accent, there's no "brit" accent.
@@diynevala depends where you are, Britain has an insane number of accents. People from the north of England tend to drop their Ts but it’s definitely not everyone
Such a wholesome concept for a chef to come into "normal's" kitchen and give them a personalized tip or two while cooking for them.
I dig it. Totally.
I want more of this let's send Ben to other RUclipsrs.
I wish I could have Ben come here and go through my kitchen! What a great idea for a series!
I would pay a high price for a chef teaching tipps with my equipment, at my home.
To all the fems, again, boys rule... girls are just breeding grounds...
The chef man didn't even plug his app. He just did what it does. What a chad.
Which he really could have done because one of her main issues is planning and meal prep, which is *literally* what Sorted's app is all about, meal planning and meal prep.
i was surprised too since the app it's made to solve most of the problems she had
@@darkqhi *I know, right?*
@@darkqhi TBH she probably has it already since she has watched them for 10 years she said. She is by her own words just lazy.
@@darkqhi Sometimes, women just need a man... not an app... #hardtoswallowpill
Ben is so bloody affirming and kind as well as being a great communicator this is lovely
I think I saw him one time saying that if he wasn't a chef doing what he is doing with Sorted, that he would be a teacher of some sort. He definitely has the vibe of someone who knows what they are doing and wants to share that with other people.
The way he was taken aback when taz said “I have written down all my issues”
He went all “this isn’t what I signed up for????” 😭😂
Considering what he deals with in working with Baz and Spaff, Ben's up to his glasses in 'issues' by now. ;-)
Ben: Professionally describing the food
Taz: “That’s bangin, omg it’s so good”
😂
I am *so happy* that Ben let her know that the "best by" date isn't the last date something can be used! Most people don't know that, and it makes me so sad!! Most things are still perfectly fine to use for months, or even years, after the "best by" date! It all depends on the item, how it's packaged, and how it's stored! Once an item is opened, that's when the time starts counting down.
For canned food or dried food yes this is true. However always go by the best by date for packaged veggies or fruits. I work in a produce and I can tell you 100% of the time the produce will be bad by that time.
@@therabbits69 I just use my senses for fruit and veg - does it look and smell good, is the texture as it should be?
@@nathilism that seems like a solid way to tell 👍
this is such a good idea 🤯
👀👀👀
👀👀👀👀
AYY its RUclips
What the heck?! Haha
It's like Supernanny
he made regular everyday food, I love this! While food makes some people happy, it stresses me out. I am so excited to eat now, knowing I have all the ingredients already, and feel very capable of making those dishes.
Let me recommend junelikethemonth. She does totally unexpected things with food, but she does them fearlessly. After you watch her for awhile, the thought of putting things together and eating them is a lot less challenging. A lot more fluid and forgiving.
To be fair, the Sorted Food gang does the same thing.
Taz, this is the first video of yours that I've watched. Your enthusiasm, your chemistry with Ebbers, your joy in experiencing someone do what they're very good at ... they were refreshing. I'm still smiling. Thank you for this video; I look forward to exploring others!
you're in for a treat! Taz is amazing. So sweet and loving, and funny but also real. Enjoy!
@@Chit_Chat_w_ThePink-ik2ph that was uncalled for. tpwk
Could literally cook all three of these meals without going shopping. It's amazing how much you can actually make without realising it
the bane of wanting food and being confronted with ingredients. I agree, I think I could do each of these 3 dishes without shopping... I'd have to use orange instead of lemon... hmm that could be cool too
You should do an episode (or 2) on organizing your kitchen (or get someone to help you). I think getting your space organized would be a useful step in getting better at your day to day food prep. Just a suggestion. 😊
She’s moved to a new kitchen and doing loads better with it.
Slightly drastic step, but it worked….
To clarify, my suggestion was given without judgement - I made it because Taz herself seems to want to improve and it occurred to me as I watched the video that it might be another tangible step she can take to improve her culinary skills but something that might not occur to her (It would also be something I’d enjoy watching). And I definitely agree that she is SOOOO much better now in the kitchen. 🫶🏻
Agree organization reduces stress when trying to plan meals. I use kid sized shoe boxes (they fit in the shallow kitchen cabinets) to manage my spices. nothing worse than trying to find that one in the back and having to empty the cupboard one at a time.
taz! this is everything i wanted for you! 😭 you called the perfect person for this, ebbers is such a wonderful human and i’m so glad you’ve connected! 💕 he’s a chef but the recipes he showed you are so achievable for us normals 🙌🏼
I really hope they turn this into a series.
no. RUclips evolution. She failed...
Loved this!! It reminded me of Sorted Food's OG 2011 style content with suuuper simple ingredients and student-friendly recipes! It was so nice to see Ben explaining basics and relating so much to everything Taz said about cooking!!! Two of my youtube faves in one video, what a nice surprise :D
Taz and Ben should make other videos together. They play off of each other so well!
Taz has played with Sorted Food. Fun video. I found Taz through collaborations with KoreanEnglisman and SortedFood crossovers.
@@morganalori I ended up watching the SortedFood crossover. She was good in that, but I wish she had more of an introduction because there were a lot of confused people in the comments.
Such a cute video! I think if Ben or maybe Kush came in and helped organize your kitchen/spices so it doesn't feel so overwhelming would be great (and something lots of people struggle with)
Hi Taz, as someone with ADHD and depression as well, I've had to make a "rule" of sorts against calling myself words like "lazy!" I used to refer to myself as lazy constantly and it became a part of my identity. No I have to refer to myself as "tired" or "overtaxed" and on better days, I tell myself "I'm just trying my best." I have to realize my brain lacks the dopamine to make these "easy, everyday tasks" manageable. So I guess my encouragement is to not call yourself lazy!! (Even doing like a week challenge where you don't refer to yourself as lazy!) It helps me and might help? Love your videos!
Every time I watch your videos I relate so hard. Every 'problem' you have IS your adhd, and same! 'There's nothing to eat', being 'lazy', comfort foods, the chronic overwhelm, having so many ingredients but no idea what you have, your cupboards being unorganized.. please know, none of these are personal failings. These are all a direct result of your adhd and so many people deal with the same struggles. You're crushing it.
I agree with you.
@@Jman10011 Now if you don't know how neurodivergent people operate, it will look as "blaming everything on ADHD". But that's the point! She has shared she has an ADHD and us people with ADHD resonate with it on much deeper level. If you've been following Taz even for a while now, you will see her repetitive behaviour pattern is ADHD, which she finally figured out some time ago and shared with us through a RUclips video.
@@Jman10011 they really don’t though, because not ‘everyone’ has ADHD, your comment is unnecessarily aggressive. if someone’s mind is busy, their environment is going to be messy, that’s literally it. ADHD affects many aspects of someone’s life. it’s not some trend. and it explains it, it’s not ‘blaming it’
Came here to say this. In nearly every one of taz's videos, they criticise themself for their "bad habits", which are literally all just adhd traits. Fed is best! If you only have the spoons for ramen taz, just have ramen! Its ok! If you feel like bulking up the nutrition a bit, add in an egg and some frozen veg while it's boiling. You're doing great 💕
@J yeah that's what people who are uninformed about adhd say.
Watching Ben and SORTED for all these years has really helped me be more effective and creative in the kitchen. Forever grateful for them.
I would actually make all these! they look so easy but delicious as well. Love Sorted Food.
I am so exited about this combo! I adore the sorted videos and seeing Ben in your kitchen makes me so happy.
You both hold channels i love so much, this is a really big surprise for me when i saw the thumbnail, i am shook!
NO WAY!!!! Taz is also in a Sorted food video as well???? and on the same day???? what is this nonsense, this ain't my birthday today XD XD i fell like i got a gift from you both haha😄
Not me realising I relate so intensely to you because ✨ADHD✨ I literally made cooking into content because making it into a “game” gives me the dopamine boost I need to do something absolutely essential.
Favourite collab ever! 😍
Love both channels so much and seeing them combined makes me happy. Love it! ❤😊
Oh wow! This was such an epic collab I didn’t ever expect but so glad it did!
Epic collab, Ben was the life savor... She was terrible.
I love this! I so want to see Taz & Mike cook together, think of the TazMikean HuttleStorm
Also, How Fun would it be if Taz & Grace Cooked Together with the Sorted Lads??
oh, goodness. I didn't even think of that. LOL that would be amazingly fun
You are so fortunate! I've always thought that Ben was such a natural teacher... he LOVES sharing his knowledge. What a fun day!
I found this video through Sorted, and wow Taz and Ben have such great chemistry! Plus this was so helpful, most of these issues are things we all struggle with. Hopefully you two can make more videos together in the future!
Think Taz and Ebbers is a winning combo, I hope that there are more Taz/sorted collabs in the future!
Brilliant video - never thought I'd see Ben and Taz together but it works so well :)
Loved watching the chef making delicious meals off what you got already in your kitchen. 👍👍
This was a banger video Taz. More of this please!
NOW THIS. THIS is a collab I never new I needed in my life!!! I’m so excited😍
I absolutely love Ben so much! I have been watching Sorted Food since the beginning and I love that you collaborated with him for this!! 🥹♥️
Love this type of video. The other guys from Sorted should come by to offer recipes too!
You won't get Barry to turn up unless there are some more pretentious ingredients around.
@@theritchie2173 i’d like to think if there are no pretentious ingredients around, he’d be more than happy to provide 😂
It would be fun. each normal has different styles and strengths. And plenty of exp with 'make a dish from random ingredients'. The shenanigans would be epic.
Taz is my comfort youtuber. I love binge watching her videos especially when I'm in the low
The collaboration I never saw coming but I am absolutely thrilled 😅
Loved both of your channels for YEARS!
The collaboration we didn’t know we needed 😍😍
Omg when you stared explaining your kitchen and your stress that’s caused by all the steps that go from start to finish to getting food on the plate, I felt so seen 💕 definitely reignited my interest in getting Sorted’s Sidekick
Same!
This video is so genuine, i loved both of you guys.
The collab I didn’t know I needed xx
The collab I have been waiting for since forever!
THE MOST UNEXPECTED CROSSOVER BUT I’M HERE FOR IT!
This is the best collaboration ever! My two favorite RUclips channels!
The Collab I never thought I needed but I'm definitely here for it
omg two of my fav channels combining. I am here for it!
Quality content as always James. Definitely going to be showing this to my students as a 2 part series when the second ones released.
Keep it up!
I love your energy!
This should be a series
Ahhhh Ben and Taz. This could be the start of a wonderful thing
OMG!!! THIS IS THE COLLAB I NEEDED IN MY LIFE!!!!
This is such a fun video! Loved it
you 2 look so cute together, you're both so kind, cheerful and adorable
Love Ben, Love Sorted, Love Taz. I needed this mash up. Thank god for Ben as Taz is right it's so easy to buy n buy n buy n not have a clue what to make from it all. V.helpful! Need to be a series 😊xx
This is a colab I so wanted!!!!! Haven't even watched the video yet, I just know I'm gonna love it
I love Ben, this was funny, educational and anxiety inducing. My kitchen would never recover with Ben going through my cupboards!
Oh my god, a collab with Ben from sorted?? Can't wait to see this!
hi taz, firstly, loved this video! secondly, wanted just to tip you to grate some lime or lemon peel (adding fresh coriander, parsley or basil makes it even better) to your rice or quinoa - makes such a tasty + elevated flavour! another tip (as you had lots of quinoa) is a very easy + quick quinoa salad: just make the quinoa and chop+add some tomato, cucumber, pepper, avocado, (red)onion, fresh coriander/parsley/basil and beans (I prefer chickpeas) - such a quick, super easy and delicious meal both cold or warm and can be meal-prepped for many days and as a side dish too along with a source of protein :) xx
Aww this is whatI needed on a Sunday evening xx
I just loveee the idea of this video! Love your vids taz❤
I love this collab!!! 🤩
I LOVED the idea of this video! You should do similar videos more often
such a lovely Video ! ❤ Maybe we can get a Part 2 ? These food combinations are awesome for someone who doesnt like cooking complicated meals 😊

I Watch both Chanel’s and was surprised to see this collab 😂❤
Omg! I never thought to see you guys mash. I watch his channel too and this is a collaboration I needed to see
Omg such a feel good vlog! Love it Taz ❤
Brilliant idea. I hope this gives you more confidence Taz. You are always wayyy better at your cooking when you try things than you ever think you're going to be 🙂🙂 but yeah I have things i put off and procrastinate and prioritise other things too... lots of them!! You are brilliantly productive and successful in so many other things 🙂 i am sure that if cooking really grabbed your interest - you absolutely would be in this too 🙂
I absolutely LOVED this!
