KGS Protocols.io Lunch & Learn

KGS hosted a Lunch & Learn Webinar with protocols.io for our research staff. This presentation introduces protocols.io, a secure platform for developing and sharing reproducible methods, and introduces the new author guidelines from both Nature and Wiley related to the open sharing of detailed methods, which specifically recommend protocols.io as a free tool to facilitate this. The platform and its available tools for collaborative method development, sharing, and publication are demonstrated. Open access public sharing of the protocols with a DOI facilitates credit and recognition for method development work. It’s a great option for publishing computational workflows and operational procedures.
