It's a French TGV

This is a train based on Hyundai Rotem’s TGV

This KTX-1 train was one of the first of 46 based on the TGV Réseau but with several differences - e.g. 18 passengers cars instead og just 8 . The initial 12 train sets were partly built in France by Alstom, the rest by Hyundai Rotem in S Korea [says Wikipedia]. So this is a Rotem. I travelled to Daegu on set no. 021 in November and it is very close to my heart. @@steamairlinesrfs3648

Hi there~ The original model of KTX-1 which the train in this clip is TGV. However, KTX-Sancheon & KTX-EUM is not TGV, but unique model by Hyundai-Rotem.

It’s it’s own derivative named TGV-K or KTX-I or by it’s official class Korail Class 100000. It’s based off the TGV Reseau or TGV-R in use since 1993. The first 12 of 46 TGV-K sets were built by Alstom between 1997-2000 with the rest being built by Rotem between 2002-2003.
