I feel kinda the same. After all people who preordered the normal version (like me) are already 3 days late to the game and when it finally arrives its another 3 days till matchmaking works for everyone. That kinda sucks and i dont understand why it happened. The free beta was supposed to exist to prevent this from happening right?@@beatsaber1235
After the servers get fixed, all I need is for thumbstick sensitivity to be smoothened out or some mouse and keyboard support on xbox

Starbreeze and overkill release an online only game with no ability to matchmake or host solo play this is a friggin scam. They should have just chapter 11'd in 2017, what a joke.
You can kinda host a solo by making a invite only group and not inviting anyone

Honestly the best thing I can even say about the game at the moment is the main menu music is very good. Which kept me sitting in matchmaking probably 20 minutes longer than I otherwise would have.

I’m impressed it was only 15 minutes for you. I’m at almost 40 minutes trying to get into the Nightclub when meanwhile it took more than 3/4 of that time to get into a heist yesterday.

@@Feekaleesthey will be adding updates frequently sort of like in seasons, kind of like how rainbow six siege has different years. These updates will be adding new heists and DLC
@@FeekaleesI agree a few aspects is unfinished and not as content rich, but most importantly the foundations they’ve created for the future is excellent, and Payday 2 also released quite bare bones but these devs update overwhelmingly fast.

Imagine launching a game with this much hype, but having it locked to online ONLY. So when the servers dont work, NO ONE can play.
Just imagine not thinking far enough to at least have offline mode ready so people can still play and this way take away pressure from online match making.
Once they add offline mode and improved servers then I know this game will properly blow up

False advertising! In this clip the game actually works and is able to be played !
the game sadly sucks, I can't even load into a match, I've been waiting for 15 minutes! There's no solo play! And I need to be online at all times to play it. It's a sad excuse for a payday game, I hope they fix this and make it so you can hop into a solo game without having to "matchmake" for one. (Update: I have now been waiting for half an hour just for one heist.)
Their is solo play you just have to make a invite only session but having an internet connection and always online fucking sucks

Can you guys tell the same guys that made this trailer to fix the servers and make and offline solo hosting systeme cause they did a fantastic job
I bought the collector edition, i really enjoy the game, even if it isn't right that they have released unpolished, but i really enjoy the game. Tho, at this point, they should give us an update + offline mode. Is unplayable and i really bought collector edition to support StarBreeze.
In 2023 they voted my game the highest drop in quality that year. Main issues? Sky high rate of lag and more people sitting in queue than anywhere else. Can't deny it, it's all true, but everyone still wants to play here. Starbreeze keeps promising updates. It might be a lie, an illusion, but its always there, just around the corner, and it keeps you going.
It's a game of dreams.
And I'm a big dreamer.

My favorite part was when the Pay Day 3 character said: "It's Heisting Time" and heisted all over the place. Truly this is one of the games of all time
I’m loving the game my only problem is the leveling up. I hate being forced to do challenges to level up. Especially since i love stealth

Great trailer :) I was able to play in early access and I all I see is a magnificient solid base game which will let future content be even more awesome than Payday 2! Thanks to all the people working on this title and I can't wait to see what will come next :)
The game is good, when it works... Why are the servers so bad now days? I mean you have plenty of systems to balance the load of servers and increase the number of active servers depending on the usage with Azure scalability for example. How you allow a game to be launched and THOUSANDS of players not being able to play it because it's 100% online.

Completely agree. These load times are pretty wild. Sad you have to sit through a match making que to play no matter the lobby type!
Feels like WE are the ones who got robbed. Takes forever to matchmake (if you find a match), and by the time you see any mechanics its to late to ask for a refund. People argue that Payday 2 took time to develop into what it is so this could take a while. Why couldn't they implement all the good stuff that Payday 2 grew to have and build on that? I feel like this is Payday 2 at release with a fresh coat of paint, and it's just going to turn into the same thing. Adding things slowly with minimal effort. There is no excuse for devs to release unfinished games like this disappointment.

Imagine making payday only playable online ffs. Waited 30 mins to play with wife in invite only but never found a game. Payday 2 with mods infinitely better. At least then I'd be able to play without feeling my soul slowly wither away waiting for a "match". Don't get me wrong though the game play looks really fun. I just haven't been able to PLAY it.

Might have to hit the refund button and then launch payday 2. Worked for me.
