A tip for anyone who can't use the squishy shades & maybe owns some palettes or singles like that: take a paper towel (or toilet paper folded a few times) & press the eyeshadow gently with it. Move the paper towel or tp to a clean spot & repeat. I usually press two to four times & with most squishy shades it will work. I recently picked up the glaminatrix pretty in pastels & the dark green shimmer in particular was very squishy & almost wet? I pressed it with paper towel four times & now it's infinitely better. Thanks for all your hard work Milly! 🫶 Oh & I love the background! 🌱
I have found with my older adept palettes that had squishy shades - once the palette ages a bit the formula is so much better. They are obviously very freshly made shadows.
I really appreciate that you draw attention to the "squishy" shades. I cannot wear these shades without serious creasing/fading, so I've mostly stopped buying palettes with these types of shades in them sadly.
I love how detailed your swatch descriptions are and the way they are filmed really shows the shift and formula. I also want to echo that your plant background is fantastic!
Hi Millie, I just wanted to say a big Thank You for your exposure to the @Fyrinnae Pixy Epoxy. I’m a little older so my semi hooded lids also have some wrinkles which has stopped me from wear all the beautiful eyeshadow’s I buy. I’ve been buying Indy for the the past 8 years and have tried 11 different Glitter Glue products. Nothing worked until this, and I am having so much fun rediscovering my shadows. I don’t know why this product is are not as well shown by Indy influencers but it should be. ❤
I already hit pan in sumarian sunset and within the past 2 weeks I've been using cyborg choir. I may need to buy backups when I'm halfway through it because these shades are spectacular. For those wondering they are BOTH dark skinned approved (Fenty 450 for reference cause some of y'all think Tracee Ellis Ross is dark-skinned and Chile I can't help you there 😭)
Got mine yesterday so only swatched it so far but it’s so pretty. As long as I use a glitter glue (which I always do anyway) I think it’s going to be fine. First one I’m wearing is that electric duochrome one (cybernetic spark) It’s stunning.
Cybernetic Spark looks very similar to Copacetic Biennium and Pretties For Your Face Hydra. Biennium being a bit of a more brighter green in the pan than Hydra. And two other singles with a similar vibe but less shiny than those two mentioned are Clionadh Motif and Shine by SD Retro.
You always do such fabulous reviews! I really appreciate the detail that goes into your videos and the close-up shots of the individual shadows is really helpful. Thank you for posting this :-).
Thank you for going over all the shadows and textures critically. You always give excellent feedback and application tips. Thank you for all the work you put in and thank you for sharing ❤
You're the first review I've seen on this! I used Cybernetic Spark on my lower lash line (with glitter glue!) and it was stunning!! So happy you posted the photos of the hooded vs non- hooded lids - that really helped me! Definitely bring back the rankings!
Hi Millie, thank you so much for the detailed review! This is an easy pass for me, don’t like holo shades ( those specks are looking so big and black from a certain angle, and has nothing to do with the base)and many shades reminds me of the Element 115 palette which I already have. 😘😘
Theme and colour scheme tempted me, but I cannot staaaand when do that grainy 3D thing. It gives me 'the ick' so bad 😭 Some of the shades are really pretty though.
@badtothebrow lol wtf was I talking about 😂 I meant when large holo is separated and looks more textured in a way that you can see at certain angles of swatches. It gives me the ick because I looked at the ingredients, and it lists ',polyethylene,' in a strange typing error. Polyethylene in shimmer shadows often means polyethylene teraphalate e.g 'PET glitter' and that is definitely something I would not to put near my eyeball, unless it was really well integrated with the binders.
What stunning looks! Im so glad the 2nd look was less of a struggle. Both looks are stunning! I am not a fan of the PM eyeshadow base. I have trouble alot when using it. I prefer my Rare Beauty primer, Nars eyeshadow primer, or My Devinah eyeshadow primer. And the Devinah glitter primer is really good as well and of course Nyx Glitter glue. Oh i wanted to ask which Micka palette are you talking about? I love Micka beauty eyeshadow palettes and there are a couple I have my eye on. So im curious as to which one had the holochrome formula you like. Ive never dipped into holochromes so this will be my first time other than one from and Ensley Reign palette. Thank you so much for the thorough review, especially about having hooded lids because i have hooded lids. Is the formula in the squishy shade the type that can be tapped back out with a finger to fix the look if it creases? 🤔 If so then i dnt mind if its one of those squishy shades. I just tap and fix and looks good as new. But i know some people dont like that. Thanks Milly! I just anticipate your reviews because they are so informative and thorough upon explanation of formulas! ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! I’ve been enjoying the PM primer, it has given me great wear time. Maybe this matte formula doesn’t jive with it. The palette I was talking about is the Minka from Adept Cosmetics. And no they are not the type of squishy that you can tap out, it will re-crease within minutes for me!
I got this pallate and i didnt really like the holo the specks got everywhere on my face so messy and it felt almost grainy on the eyes. Would have been better if they were thinner and smaller like the one in minka..oh and the 2 shades that are blueish purpleish to me they looked identical i was tripping thinking maybe they did a mistake ..we definitely didnt need both.. such a waste,
Thanks Millie I think I'm going to pass on this one. The flying fiddles palette did it for me. I really enjoy it. I think personally there's other holos out there that I would prefer over these. And just for the price there's just too many things LOL. Really enjoyed the video! ❤
The fantasy cosmetica lost library holo shades are INCREDIBLE. A super fine holo completely embedded which results in a more linear holo effect rather than scattered glittery holo vibes.
@bronteg2250 I was close to purchasing some of their products this last holiday but decided to hold off. The company is under my radar for surr. Thank you for the feedack!!
I’m not super into holos bc I find holos flecks for days everywhere. Idk y they stick to everything. I use my phone to make videos and for days I’ll find holo flecks on it 😂 not a deal breaker just annoying but bc of this I subconsciously avoid all my holo shadows
Thank you Milly for this review, I was certain I will get this palette because the colourstory is sooo pretty but seeing how the holos look and considering there is 4 of them that I don’t like (the two lighter ones look like straight up dirt inside with the black holo specs ) plus the yellow shade I was so excited about being difficult, I’m rethinking my decision now. I only have the Heather Austin palette from Adept in which I love the shimmer formulation but these seem to be so different
Edited: I’m an idiot. Idk why I asked this question when I’ve watched your videos a million t8mes and I know u always do comparison swatches. My excuse is I’ve been out of the makeup loop for awhile. lol. Man. I want that robo-rose shade! Do u know any single shadow that compares? Also digital rose? I think is the name 6:22 ? Oh my gosh 6:59 that’s stunning. Ok. Maybe it’s worth getting this palette.
@@eunicee999 I don't know but the only one I liked and bought is the Samarian Sunset, I see it as different from everything else out there...its color story 🥰
@@badtothebrow I have not tried the formula because I have not bought it, my opinion is based on your video, which has shown the swatches well and that is why I was not enthusiastic about it...
@@Yolandagc.swatches really don’t do it justice. I have the palette and I have tried multiple shades and they look better on the eye and built up. I will say the first time I tried it I had some transfer from the shimmers up to my mattes so I used the Karla cosmetics glitter primer and it helped so much.

Great tip, thanks!
I tried it with these 3 shades and barely anything picked up on the tissue, it’s so weird!
And thank you! Im a crazy plant mom 😂
Awesome advice thank you!!!!❤
I have found with my older adept palettes that had squishy shades - once the palette ages a bit the formula is so much better. They are obviously very freshly made shadows.
I live in a high dry climate and I fin the squishy shadows dry out in a few months.
I really appreciate that you draw attention to the "squishy" shades. I cannot wear these shades without serious creasing/fading, so I've mostly stopped buying palettes with these types of shades in them sadly.

Sorta reminds me of some colors from adepts seahorse palette not much different color story just that that that the seahorse is all multi/duo chrome
