    One of my favourite features of this sleeping platform is you did not need to uninstall the backseat, simply installed right over top of the seat instead. That is brilliant.

      I agree. The nice big drawer for storing things is super handy as well. Thanks for sharing.

    A lowkey slept on (Ha) design is to get a super cheap rooftop hammock (one of the ones that's for use without the top on) and a pop up bug mesh. It works pretty well in fair weather.

      That sounds pretty interesting. I haven’t seen that anywhere online.

      Yes, I was happy to show this product for those who wanted a sleeping camping set up but didn’t want to make their own. It’s definitely one of the more affordable options. Cheers.

    Looks like a nice inexpensive option and a fair product review. Good callout on the head support pieces and the need to disassemble/re-assemble on each overnight stop. They should offer an optional platform that sits higher to allow more storage space for the traveler that prioritizes hidden storage and is willing to compromise on head room. Informative video and pleased to see this product being reviewed by your channel!

      Regarding a higher platform. We made a copy of CJTVs original Sleeping Platform for the JK and found that moving the height up makes it very difficult to get in and out, as well as changing in the Jeep, that becomes now a morning fitness routing. The height of W&F platform seems to be a better choice over ours. The drawer is very nice and the one option I really like on the W&F platform is the side panel that can be lifted.

    Really like this idea! I loved the setup you made too, very ingenious. I'm glad the tailgate table can stay, as I use that a lot. Using the overhead space around the rollcage gives me new ideas. I can't quibble on their price, there's a lot of thought & work goes into something this nice. Great video!

    Great review as always Dino! I would fix magnets to the rear little side panels so you could slide long items in without dealing with the bedding. Spray with rattle can of bed liner, that'll handle lots of abuse. I think I would loose some of those puzzle pieces, lol. Missed you coming past on your way back from the north.

    I have the Big Cargo Drawer for the 2 Door JK. For the price, it was a great purchase and i'm loving the setup for camping and storage but I did have some issues. Mine came a little banged up from UPS. I have a few spots that were cracked and busted. I also had some issues with the pre-assembled drawer. There was several brad nails that weren't correctly set so they were protruding out in some areas. I did have to spend some time repairing it on my own and also removing and correcting some of the nails. I did contact Wheels & Feels and it took a few tries and multiple days before they were able to offer some help. In the end, I got taken care of and have a sweet drawer setup. If you're someone who's handy and doesn't mind fixing a few areas in case it comes the same way, then I would recommend these drawers.

    Hi Dino. Great video review. Real constructive feedback. Very good turnkey kitchen. Good sleep platform but would be better with your suggestions. I think that there are different markets: best for families with more money than time going on short vacation; ok for overlanders (as you noted issues); and great for DIY ideas 8). Thanks

    If you extend the drawer, can you access the original Jeep cubby underneath? Also, what about a fridge in the rear. It would take away some of the sink options, but I guess it could work?

    • @CheaperJeeperTV
      @CheaperJeeperTV  7 месяцев назад

      Good point, I should’ve mentioned how you could reach the little storage cubby underneath. Thanks for mentioning that. As for the fridge I’m looking at a shelf option that can carry a small sized 12 V fridge . That’s a future video. Cheers

    • @jongrant4504
      @jongrant4504 7 месяцев назад

      Flip top does not really do much, so a fridge slide could go on it as long as it does not block side cubby. Drawer would still function the same.

    Cool! Do you prefer your platform or this one over yours? I don’t have one of my own at all but love the idea and easiness of install on this one.

    • @CheaperJeeperTV
      @CheaperJeeperTV  Месяц назад +1

      I prefer my DIY version 2.
      Way less expensive, more functional for quick setup when you get to camp because in my DIY V2, the pillow pieces simply flip forward, less weight, and I believe has less to break down over time. But to each their own🤷🏻‍♂️

    If you leave the driver side back seat up, can you still utilize the center and right panels to create a 60% single person sleep section?

    • @CheaperJeeperTV
      @CheaperJeeperTV  5 месяцев назад

      No. The centre panel would still interfere with the ability of the drivers seat to slide back.

    I just ordered this and I am anxiously awaiting it. I love your suggestions about improving it. I’m also thinking about removing the rear seats for more storage do you have any suggestions how I can make it sturdy enough if I do that?

    • @CheaperJeeperTV
      @CheaperJeeperTV  3 месяца назад +2

      If you remove the back seats, you’ll need to extend those middle vertical supports that sit on top of the folded rear seats. I would have three-quarter inch plywood pieces cut at the right length and screw them to the existing middle supports. I hope that makes sense.

    • @marloncausey392
      @marloncausey392 3 месяца назад +2

      @@CheaperJeeperTV it does I’m thinking of getting some angle brackets and maybe attach them to the extensions and use the seat bolt holes to bolt them down also.

    • @CheaperJeeperTV
      @CheaperJeeperTV  7 месяцев назад

      Yes, there is. In fact, the company even makes one. What I like about it is that it is very large. I hope to get one to do a review so make sure you subscribe. Lol.

    • @CheaperJeeperTV
      @CheaperJeeperTV  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for your feedback. I meant to cover that topic in the video. If one was to remove the rear receipt, the short support leg piece would need to be extended to reach the floor. I’ll reach out to the manufacturer and let them know that should be included. or at least an option. Thank you. Cheers.

    "WARNING" Ordered a Jeep sleeping camping platform and camper combo by Wheels & Feels for my JK in early June. My credit card was charged and Wheels & Feels sent an Order Confirmation. I have reached out several times to verify the status of my order, by Email and Customer Service Line with no reply. At this point I may have to report "Fruad" to my credit card to get my money back. Has anyone else ordered on recently and received it or had any contact with Wheels & Feels? Any Help would be appreciated. Dino do you have any contact numbers that I can call to get this back on track?
