    I needed this so badly. 9th/10th grade year, I have failed to make any high school teams. With a court 10 minutes away from me, I have developed a schedule and have been putting in work in hopes that one day it will all be worth it.

    That was my mistake when i was a freshman coming back from covid. I’m a sophomore and i started training over a year ago and when it was time for me to match up i was mediocre. I wasn’t where i wanted to be but i wasn’t bad. I knew that it would take years of training and i can see it’s starting to pay off. My confidence is skyrocketing as well as my skills are developing. I can see myself slowly catching up to these players.

    As a coach, what do you think about relationships?
    Do you think it is good for us, or it distract us from giving 100 percent of ourselves to the game ?
    Point of reference; From your video, I think is called, "going all in is a basketball super power"

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  Год назад +1

      Relationships can be extremely positive, extremely negative, or anywhere in between. It depends entirely on the nature of the relationship (i.e. the people involved, the interactions themselves, the distance/how often the relationship is in effect, etc.)
      Going all in doesn't mean spending 100% of your time on something. Rather, it means doing what you need to do, no more and no less. In this way, relationships can strongly benefit you if they are healthy, because they contribute to your overall well-being, which contributes to your performance. The wrong relationships, however, can certainly have a negative impact on your performance in a variety of ways.

    I just started playing basketball 2 years ago tho i m only making 40% of my shoots during training while i m open and a lot of players can lock me down easily i m 19 years old though and 6'1 my only strength i can rebound and i can guard 1-4 and people needs screens to pass me and they call switches for me i hope my offense can improve

    Exact situation but I just finished my 10th grade school season just ended, been doing this since 7th grade still out working, but Im still really behind. It’s not that im playing with bums we were #1 in our class n we have multiple college players, but I gotta change now, I don’t have time, which scares me

      The good news is that many players make big leaps between 9th/10th grade and their junior / senior years. I had a teammate who was coming off the bench as a 10th grader, but something clicked for him as a junior and he totally transformed. As wild as this sounds, he ended up playing for the national team, going D1, and then playing overseas in Switzerland. He had some physical gifts, but nonetheless proved that it can be done.

    Hi coach, I want to ask if we are experiencing this but I just remembered your video about deep game transformation. You say that we have much more within us than we think or what you often say are the hidden gear. Is it true that we can release what we have inside of us by writing down what is our fear in playing basketball? Actually I already did but is there another way? or is this the only way ? Thankyou coach.

    Hey coach!! I have a question where having a game in may 1 2023 and all of the teams are training gitting better in every way possible but i know i am a much more consistant at training then all the playres in the other neighborhood but when i came to realize i cant do it alone you know I am the captain of my team but if i am the only one who is working i can't win agiants other teams because all of my teamates are just lacking off.This is the moment that i will prove to everyone that i am a player to respect but if i fail this I.......really dont care i just wanna have fun and play but i just wanna bring all out of my teamates you know i can't win without them but they are just lucking i need to dicipline them soo i have a question to ask how can you dicipline your teamates to work smarter and harder because our training is only in Saturday because our gym doesnt have a light yet but how can i bring their best as a leader i always tell them that its ok to make mistakes i dont care if you make mistakes just go all out but for some reason they won't listen how can i bring the best in them?????by the way this video is great i love it🏀💗🏀💗thankyou for teaching me what it means to be a player💗🏀💗🏀

      Unfortunately most people don't respond well to being "disciplined" or controlled in any way. I would focus on playing as hard as you can and leading by example, until they hopefully begin to follow your lead and pick up on your energy. But ordering them to work/play harder will probably cause issues.

    • @imjustbeingme6253
      @imjustbeingme6253 Год назад

      How can you lead by example?

    • @DeepGameBasketball
      @DeepGameBasketball  Год назад

      You lead by example by doing what your team needs in that moment. If your team needs to be more aggressive, then make more aggressive moves. If your team needs to be relaxed a little bit, then take things more slowly.

      Have you ever listened to a song more than once? Some lessons are worth hearing multiple times. If you don't feel that way about this one, we have many others available to you free of charge. It's great that you're following these talks so closely, just remember that not everybody has heard everything before.
