The MV and the song doesn't really go hand in hand. YES, the girls are representing the fruits. Irene is watermelon, Yeri is grape, Joy is Kiwi, Seulgi is Pineapple, and Wendy is orange. It's more of a coming of age kind of MV, they showed baby pics of Joy and Irene in the beginning. Also, the quotes in the bottom was basically them "when I was young." Or "I used to...". Some even interpret this MV not only as them finding a balance of being youthful and young women. But also how it connects with their concept, their RED concept and VELVET concept.
The captions in the MV made me lmao tbh the sexual meanings xD "어릴때부터 그렇게 달콤하지 않았어요" XD The song was very generic though. RV's eclectic music has disappeared after RR.

But even Mark isn't matchable to rappers in other groups. He's just a decent rapper in comparison to other SM rappers - post 7th sense, his delivery has been so-so for me. He was really good in 7th sense though - like I could see potential in him to be a legit good rapper and I still see that potential but there's been so many releases and no actual growth in his rapping - i don't think its him either - its just that rap doesn't really fit in SM's songs - they almost always seem forced. 7th Sense is one of the rare SM songs that suited rapping really well. I want more NCT U from SM. They were the best unit.
