      Yugo means South...Yugoslavia means state of south slaves.When lusatia Serbs got their state with other slavs they can call state Severoslavija means Norrh state of slavs...

      @@Puzzoozoo I agree that business wise they would be more remembered if they retained their brand name, but IF they would rename it, it make more sense to be called Serboexport.

      Osim toga SrboImport ili SrboEksport mi zvuci nekako klise (otrcano).

      @@delfinigor тачно, пошто је Србија некако клише и демоде и није некако модерна као југославија и далеко је од космополитизма зато нам и иде овако.. Зато и пропадамо, јер је вирус и даље активан и те како.. вирус југословенства..

    Why don’t we change the name? Yugoslavia isn’t a country anymore plus we are not importing we are exporting

      Jugo(yugo) in serbian means south/southern do there's no problem with the name +, company is private

      @serbiangamer101 5 лет назад

      Vanja T no “yug” means south yugo is short for Yugoslavia that’s who yugo cars got their name. And Yugoimport-SDPR is a Serbian state-owned intermediary company it even says on their Wikipedia.

      @@serbiangamer101 it's jug actually...yeah I know it's synonymous for yugosslavia but as I said it means south in serbia so I doesn't have to do anything woth yugoslavia

      @serbiangamer101 5 лет назад

      Vanja T ok so what does it have to do with the south? The factory is in the middle of Serbia. The company is clearly named after Yugoslavia. The company was made in 1949 during the times of communism. So clearly that’s where they got their name not from the word south.

      @@serbiangamer101 that's true but still they can justify it as I did....of course I'm against their name but changing name wouldn't benefit them on global market
