    I am expecting my Elna to be delivered soon so trying to find as much information about it as possible. Your video is the best presentation I have found, very detailed and clear. Thank you! 🙏 The only one thing I was missing is circular pivot pin use as I never met that technique before. Hopefully I will find out in written instructions coming with my machine. Soo excited! 😊

    This was a fantastic demo. I love my machine but there were a few things I learned by watching you that I didn’t know about before this demo.

    Hi it’s me again, thank you again for this brilliant review, explanation of this Elma 680 plus machine, I’ve been persuaded, really, to actually buy this one, as I’ve been comparing it with another make, that had loads less gizmos included. Thank you again. I’ll go and spend my saved pennies now.

    My first sewing project, 60 years ago, was an apron, I was eleven I used a neighbor’s sewing machine, but the machine went so fast the seams were wavy. No matter how hard I tried I couldn’t sew a straight line. In those days sewing machines didn’t come with speed control. So speed control is handy.

    I have the Elna Excellence 680, how different is this machine the 680+ from my machine.
    This tutorial is very helpful. The dealer I purchased my machine gave a quick review when I purchased the machine over a year ago and I needed a refresher. Thank You! I do have a question about using the 1/4 foot, When piecing where would I put the stitch width?

    • @alwaysinstitches5388
      @alwaysinstitches5388  3 года назад

      It may have to do with the different feet and table that come with it!

    Any chance you could do something similar for the 780+ excellence please?

    Just bought this machine. I was searching for a tutorial on it, well you're is fantastic! When using the lettering is there a maximum number of letters/numbers you can keep in memory. for example: "For Elizabeth Brown (heart) Mommy Mar 2020" would this be to long to keep in memory or sewing at one time?

    • @alwaysinstitches5388
      @alwaysinstitches5388  3 года назад

      It should be able to hold that amount fifty letters in combination

    Just one question : when you're filling the bobbin, why don't you cut off the "starting" thread with the thread cutter that's right under the bobbin support before winding it ?

    • @alwaysinstitches5388
      @alwaysinstitches5388  4 года назад +1

      Yes, you could. But we find that thread cutter under the bobbin can catch the thread and sometimes clog the winder. When using it just be sure the piece of thread cut makes it to the trash. Thanks for noticing that option.

    I cleaned my machine and the cutter still does not cut! What can I do to fix it?
