Chuck admitted that the best thing other than nacho cheese that humans ever created was music. In other words, Chuck is saying that humans are co-creators. Chuck(God) created humans and now humans are able to create whatever they want.
Metratron wasn't able to make any good points though. Metatron was just going: You should save them because... you owe them this!!! Because... REASONS!!! Only, why the hell would he owe them anything? He had created everything, but giving them free will, Chuck no longer was responsible for any of their actions.
He didn't though. If he wrote them and made those things happen, then they had no free will in other words no rights since they have no agency. But if they had free will, then he didn't make any of them do what they did. Their purpose being to entertain Chuck is irrelevant. People have babies because THEY want babies, not because they care about the baby wanting to get born. Because before the baby gets born/conceived, it doesn't exist. Same thing here.
I would love if the ending that Chuck narrated at the end of season 5 was the actual ending of season 15. It is literally God ending his own book, and the moment he typed 'the end'; death reaped him.
@@shaun1114 Well, this is what happened, though. Chuck was writing their adventures... so what happened in the final episodes was written by Chuck too. @@sergejjakovlev3716 Fits perfectly with the Christian deity. He clearly isn't all-knowing because he keeps f**king things up in the Bible and he clearly isn't perfect in any way since he keeps lashing out like an angry toddler and irrationally murdering everyone to solve every problem encountered. Him turning out like Chuck and pretty much saying "F**K it I'm destroying the universe. I'm bored." seems very plausible.
Not a fan of Chuck taking away free will, controlling Sam and Deans whole lives. Also, not a fan of him becoming this supervillain in the final season.
Sam: How can you be skeptic with the things we see everyday Dean? Dean: Because I Know What Evil Does To Good Ppl. That is the only explanation for the show Supernatural
To think I used to like him especially how they introduced him in season 11 when the entire town was brought back after a attack by amara during that scene with him singing I just was saying hallelujah
It makes sense honestly, Amara was a threat, and he needed the boys on his side, even if it meant lying or manipulating them to achieve his goal. I would also say that he put[usely was destroying the sun to force them into a situation where they help him.
@@S_Warden He didn't need them for anything. He could have literally just created more worlds as fast as "Amara" could have destroyed them. It was never good or bad. It was just how it was written.
Thank you so much for that video! And I knew that I loved it because it felt like only 30 minutes had passed vs 1 hour and 39 minutes! Just like Supernaturals 15 seasons flew by and still we want more from our favorite Winchester Brothers and their extended family. I miss them all so very much!
@@gigibadawy5097 you obviously didnt see the final season. Otherwise you would know when god opened all The Gates of hell ,Kevin came out too and runs into Dean and sam in the town with the magic barrier and tells them God didnt send him to heaven but instead to Hell. @@gigibadawy5097 chuck was God the whole time,he just wrote himself into the story this time so no,chuck isn't a vessel. Just God in a visage mortals can comprehend, and Angel's dont recognize. Amara=Aware. God=EGo. Amara represents the inner awareness called the darkness because we can't see it. Our true inner awareness is formless, immeasurable, infinite, eternal & accepts all as is. God(Chuck) represents the Ego called the light because we can sense it. The Ego is always judgemental & labeling everything. Our awareness existed before our Ego did. Before our ego existed, our Awareness existed first. Our Ego is always fighting with our true inner awareness. For when the Ego weeps when it lost something, the spirit rejoices when it finds it. When Ego looses us, spirit finds us. Ego is always lying to us, but awareness is always true & pure. Our awareness is the first & last because it exists before & after our ego's existence. Our Ego is always trying to give us thoughts that make us forget our present NOW moment because our awareness is the NOW moment. Our past, present & future all happens in our present NOW moment. Their is no other real true moment other than our NOW moment. You find your real true self awareness in your NOW! Everything else is just an illusionary memory in imagination.
He's got a good point when he says (quote): "...humans kill&destroy - often in MY NAME - and then - when faced with the MISERY of their own destruction and the consequences of it - they come bitching back to me...". PS. Damn! I LOVE this series!
he also praises nature als close to perfection (using violence to wipe the slate clean all the time, which he thinks is needed), but thinks humans, coming from nature and following the same principles (leading to wars, death, destruction, and wiping out themselves/nature), are a problem. don't try to find logic where there is none.

Wow, what a fantastic synopsis of the journey of Dean and Sam. This is truly a great work of yours and thank you for making something so perfect!! I love it. You clearly put your heart and soul into making this ❤. Thank you Leo 🥰
I loved watching the entirety of this. The more I think about Chuck, the more I fall in love with his character. I hope he can be redeemed. I mean, even Metatron got redeemed and everybody hated that guy. It's just that I can't see an ending where Chuck loses and it being believable. The only way they can do that is if somehow they get Amara on their side which is very unlikely. I wish the writers can pull off a happy ending for everyone and make it very believable at the same time c:
I think the in most likelihood Chuck will defeat himself, his most iconic trait is boredom. He might even write the story where he dies realizing he already wrote the best story ever considering he finally reached his purpose. As he said it he already lived thousands of Sams and Deans, he pulled through all the endings and plots possible.
Not gonna lie I kinda hope Chuck wins... For one it's always interesting when the villain wins, for another I don't think we'll be satisfied if the Winchester's survive this one... They're up against God. Literally God. I don't think them winning would be satisfying, unless it's done in a way that actually makes sense.
@@IronLegionnaire1 I'm guessing the last episode ends with young sam and dean, doing the very first scene of episode one, but with a couple of subtle changes which will satisfy the viewers (changes that will give Sam & Dean a better future like Mary not being killed by a demon from the get-go). God started over, just like all the other times but this time differently.
They can "pull off" just doing the simplest of all endings... revealing that god IS in fact ALL GOOD and all this was just another test, to teach something. That he explain while undoing all terrible things that he did with a simple snap, in the end evebody got the leason, understand he's reasons and bla bla, and in the very end... something else that were all this time in the shadows shows up... and THEM it ends! Hahaha =p
My question is, why do we think Amara is actually Chuck's sister? If he created everything, then why couldn't he have created Amara as one of his plot devices? "Writers lie"
Jonathan Atwood that’s kinda what I thought at the end of season 14, but they did an episode where Amara basically told him to suck it and ditched him. Death could be put under a collar, but even God can’t control The Darkness.
@@godslayer8894 and did quite literally seal her away for millions of years, the only reason he didnt do it a second time was hesitation (or maybe plot since even now we dont know how much of that arc was planned maybe he wanted his sister back). her character arc is about empowerment and self worth so she spoke the way she did, but chuck always had her under his thumb.
every time I watch a video on chuck, I begin to understand him more and more. As a writer, he doesn’t want to see the story go to waste. He created everything with a plan in his mind. But like he said “nature does things on its own”, he failed to realise that some of his creations grew smarter than him. A writer whose characters come to life will eventually not be able to control them. But that is Chuck’s greatest fault. He sees his creations as mere characters. I feel Chuck will, and should win in the end, but lose the ability to create. He is no longer life and being but rather just an immortal existence in the universe without any meaning, like the characters and worlds he created. Once the story ends, the character’s journey also ends. But what happens to the writer? Edit: usually a writer feels empty after finishing his book. Could chuck be headed towards the empty after all worlds are destroyed, including the current one? death and the empty were older than god
How many times does the show have to repeat, "In the beginning, there was just God and Amara" for people to realize that Death came after them? Chuck created life and Death came into existence as a balance for life. Also aren't there multiple Deaths? Can someone correct me on that please? I remember alternate Michael telling them that Death in his universe was still in the coffin or something. Please can someone confirm this cause my memory sucks 😂 If that is true, then there's multiple Deaths but only one of God and Amara.
Aly Alice even im not sure of multiple deaths but there’s only one empty as far as we’ve been told in the show. When life and death cancel each other out, all that’s left is nothing
Jose Rodriguez but chuck’s main motivation is to let the apocalypse happen and be done with the story for good. Once he does that, will he start from scratch again?
Aly Alice Spoilers There was only one death and that was the old man before the mark of Cain dean killed him, the cass killed billy the female reaper she came back to take the place of death as the new death. There is only one god and one amara always
@Agnish Roy Degrees of intelligence and for what purpose. Nature is more like a learning algorithm, which is still considered Artificial Intelligence, than something sentient and self aware.
If you think about. Everything God made every "Nature" if God is all powerful and all knowing. He planned of everything "Nature" created. So it's not an artificial intelligence.
I loved supernatural when Angels were strong and feared, where Demons were cunning and also strong and where God was the neither good or bad but working in the background in a mysterious way...Supernatural was ruined at the end unfortunately
yes man..call me a teacher's pet, but I cant go on with an evil god..fingers crossed still..else its just sad..so much of positivity coming to such an end..
I hate the idea that humans can beat gods and super-powerful beings and I’m not even religious, if your show has god, death and angels that have lived since creation they should be untouchable. One of the reasons I’m not a fan of the god of war series, Kratos would never be able to defeat the Olympian’s but since he’s the main character they write it so he could
Watching the boys meet Chuck for the first time since the series ended for me, and it's amazing how much foreshadowing that originally just flew right over my head! And Chuck telling Dean to hoard toilet paper as if it's made out of gold? Did he know about COVID? Of course, he's God
Still only 40 minutes in, bro but such gripping work. This must have taken some great time and effort much appreciated, Thanks. 👏 I really like how you opened with Lucifer's view on creation and why Chuck did it. For 3 episodes metadouche became a champion for creation and as per SPN rules you get redemption you die LOL but I'm so glad he got the chance to show goodness because Curtis steals the show in 'Don't Call me Shirley' it does seem like a petty line from Chuck but that "Why" Always cracks me up. Imagine how often he hears that 😂😂 I love the nature scene because Chuck did speak the truth. Look what Nature achieves on its own 👍 My man, you put in 'Faith' and 'House of the Holy' definitely 2 of my favourite eps ever 😍 I've always adored Sam's line about how there's so much evil in the world he feels he could drown in it and his faith in something good and better helps him get by always resonates with me deeply :) 💪 Chuck in Disguise is like the funniest thing ever "Is this like a misery thing?" 🤣🤣 Best disguise ever!!! Too much awesome stuff to dissect in such a long and great video but I still have a feeling Chuck could be redeemed. We all know only 4 years ago he was gonna offer himself to Amarra to save creation but his favourite humans defying him is making him act like a "Bratty Child having a tantrum" It's not my leading theory but we have seen a lot of good in Chuck over the years with the Bad. We'll find out. Thank you again, Man. This is absolutely fantastic :D
Ya man that video def. took it out of me, it is up there with Jared support project. I am with you that Chuck can still be redeemed last moment, if Metadouche can anyone can, I really still like Chuck and he clearly still loves and cares about the boys up till the latest episode he made that clear so he just needs to snap out of his sudden plot mandated child tantrum and get back to his Kripke roots. Faith is easily among my top 3 or 5 episodes, don't fear the reaper, no more needs to be said :D
@@waywardwinchester I'll take that over Jack becoming his replacement any day, Brother! And it really shows, Leo. This is sincerely a masterful supercut. Be proud, My friend 👏 Chuck is the topic but this video is so layered with the perfectly placed scenes that makes it much more than a Chuck video because you've also worked hard on seeing him as many as our SPN characters do :) I just saw you called Raphael "Candyman" 😂😂😂👌
LOL admit it he is clearly modeled after Candyman, can't be a coincidence. Ironically Dean calls him a variation of that earlier in the scene haha. I thought of it before even hearing that line again, haven't rewatched the series in a long time. As I told u a while ago Rob is just too charismatic to hate, he is more of an antihero than an all out villain because of that, sort of like Joker :)
@always keep writing My favourite fellow Wayward Winchester fanatic :) If you don't mind me asking has your health shown any improvements, Miriam? I really hope so. Yeah, I had to as well normally I wait to the end of the video but got the writing bug 40 minutes in LOL you couldn't be more right, my friend. Supernatural it's Stories, its lore its Fandom is immortal and this is why I'll never lose faith in the revival even taking the constant hints from our boys about it. We're a demanding yet understanding Fandom. J2M get they've made many people happy for many years and they show no signs of wanting to stop it's simply some Dumbass at the CW who doesn't think shorter seasons would be Financially viable. Obviously that's ridiculous but there's many services and Networks that are interested in that exact format and the cherry on top: SPN has maybe the most dedicated fanbase in the history of TV, that built in fanbase is money right away. Our boys aren't going anywhere in the long run :D Thank you for your kind wishes and you take care too, Miriam. Hopefully chat again soon and maybe you'll have some good news to report 🙏
@@waywardwinchester You can't hate Rob. Completely agree more, Leo. He's too likeable and also it's hard to forget what Chuck was like before all this! He was an essentialy loving creator I think. Of course we don't know if he's lying though LOL Absolutely! I got Candyman vibes from him as soon he debuted LOL haha the first Raphael actor did a pretty good job of inspiring awe and making it feel like a big time atmosphere. He's defo made for B horror movies 😂 Raphael is like the Redheaded Stepchild when it comes to the Archangels. He's barely been mentioned since season 6 and no one wants him back when it comes to the Archangels. Maybe it's because he was very standard even after a badass debut. Crowley was more threatening in S6 and Raphael unlike his brothers never showed any parallels to the boys or a love for creation or God. He's a big guilty pleasure though, Brother. I love his over the top horror movie voice 😉
I just love the mind tricks they played with us the viewers regarding chuck. The very first time we meet him he's just a prophet, or so we were made to believe. Even after making us believe that he was just a prophet the writers still gave us a few hints. The biggest one being when chuck says "there's only one explanation, obviously I'm a god." And then he goes on to admit EVERYTHING that we learn much later in season 14 and 15! I just LOVE how they taunted us from the very beginning. Just masterful. 👏🏼Exceptional writing.
I miss the old days where Chuck was a profit of the Lord able to show the world who are the Winchesters are in their reality and it was only speculating that he might’ve been God
Funny how chuck flat out tells not only dean and Sam he’s god but the entire audience and still surprised when he came out to actually being god. So great to look back at things and seeing then threw different eyes
I'll always love Supernatural, but I honestly hate what they did to Chuck's character. I loved how he was when they first met him, he didn't need to be a villian in the end. He's helped them so much in the past, I loved how God was always on their side, even when they had no idea he existed, and now that just all means nothing.
I just had a thought... It's said that the Word of God became reality. Meaning, his words became things. Meaning we are his thoughts. So we are in a simulation created by another after all.... kind of. No wonder he's a writer. Now the only question is: Does the story loop or end?
45:27 I would've loved it if Sam had the amulet in HIS pocket at that time and Dean pulls it out. Shocked with disbelief, Dean looks up at his brother and asks Sam "how does he have this?" To which Sam replies with something cheesy saying "I still had faith" or whatever. It would have been super cheesy... yet so awesome!!!
You may find it preposterous but since the first time "Chuck" appeared, I always thought he was not telling the whole story ...hiding something! Then I remembered how Gabriel told once that he found a "witness protection program" for himself - basically! - created one "ad hoc" - and - say what you want! - but I knew there was something "off" with THIS guy. Well... turns out he was God ... or a "version of him" at least! That obsession with "writing scripts" was already a "red flag" - plus! - he practically told hem (as far as I remember) "...well - since my scripts come alive - I must be God!..." (a bit too ironic). Remember when Joshua described God as a "gardener"? ..."creating gardens" - "writing new scripts" - creating new "petri-dishes" - all those things are very similar - he had always been obsessed with creating life and watching it develop from very close - often watch turn upon itself ...AND ALL FOR HIS OWN AMUSEMENT, not for the love of it.
He always was god. He disguised himself as the author Chuck Sherley and faked him being a prophet. His body is his own that he created to basically make himself visible to humans. Just as he said: Hiding in plain sight. His real appearance though is just pure light as Metatron was required to wear special sunglasses to not become blind when seeing him.
When the character was created, he was just a fun way for them to introduce meta stuff into the plot. When disappears after the finale with Lucifer and Mikey, that was supposed to be a douchey ambiguous "M. Night Shyamalan thing". The character was expanded upon and changed since the series was expanded, and had a lot of space to fill. In canon he was supposedly always god, but he was just a plucky little prophet guy in the scope he was initially written in.
I would have rolled at the "Stranger Than Fiction" similarities when Dean & Sam met Chuck/God. Finding out that your supposed work of fiction turns out that you're writing actual people's lives would be enough to give yourself a conscience, if you didn't have one before.
Chuck's first appearance in the episode called "Monster at the end of the book" pretty much foreshadowing what Chuck truly is...a monster and the final villain at the end of Supernatural
Supernatural completely contradicts itself making chuck the final villain, he literally says he liked sam n dean because they choose family NOT Destiny, then suddenly he hates them for choosing family over Destiny, the show turned to shit after swan song. There's no direction, build up and sam n dean are pretty much invincible at this point. The sense of danger is completely gone, they're literally going to defeat God cause screw logic
I liked it. And I mean chuck can lie. Especially for the fun of it. For him its a show and every now and then he wanted to be in an episode. He's only the bad guy from Sam & deans perspective.
If i look at it now, i really cant tell the diffrence, are J2 really not the Winchesters, trapped in a alternate reality? I mean Chuck was absolutley right with his Toilette paper prediction, the dude was absolute correct.
The bit around 1:10:00 reminded me of the Deadpool comic where he 4th wall breaks & goes on a killing spree of everyone & thing in the Marvel universe, then he finds & kills the writers all because he is sick & tired of suffering for the enjoyment of the readers. I think it was called "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe" or something like that.
2:25 it appears as if they were gauging interest for a new season and wanted to deny any doubts from the executive production team. While a single fan crowd would ofcourse yield results in their favour, it would perhaps be a bit more accurate to have these sessions as part of a livestream as well. That way, gauging interest could be more widespread and accurate.
With all of chucks moments through the series i disbelieve he got mortal at the end. He is a Psychopath who loves to lie and act. Jack being the New god? Just another crazy plot for him so he can be more amazing by stepping up again to godhood and show his skills. Never trust Chuck.
@@kazimnaqvi6388 1. I think you mean imprisonment 2. I meant the second time He had to imprison her. He knew there were other worlds with other archangels. And I'm positive he knew Gabriel was still alive. But Gabriel would still be in no position to help if he was freed. So why didn't God go to other worlds to get other archangels?
supernatural stopped caring about doing cohesive and intellectual story telling after season 5. You think your question is a big one. Look at 4:33.. Chuck says he brought Cas back so many times (which he has), but don't angels go to the empty after they die.. and doesn't God have 0 power in the empty? So how did he bring him back so many times?
Heh - the little hints of the Chuck God that's been created throughout the entire show really is perfect writing. Lucifer was right about God. Death was right. Gabriel was right. He was always evil to cure his boredom.
Given that the "garden " looks different for each person, when Joshua says "I just trim the hedges", I can't help but wonder what that means in a literal/metaphysical sense.
To be honest. The whole thing with Roy could have been fine with a different choice of victim. I mean. How many hundreds of death row inmates and murderers and what not could she have picked from instead? I dont remember all the requirements she needed for the spell but still. There are plenty of targets whom sam and dean wouldnt have really cared about
very great work, remembers me on the time i just ended season 14 and watched all over to find episodes with chuck and do a chuck marathon :) But why motorhead overplayed???
Yoooo... You know how cold of a being you have to be to remind GOD he can't beat you? "Even on your best day you cant force my hand... And this... Is not your best day" 😂😂😂
I agree with Chuck on taking responsibilities about world. First screw the world, then pray to God to fix it. Try to take responsibility and fix it yourself.
Anyone ever wonder if Chuck was God when they first met? Or if he found out later? Seeing as how he constantly denied they were real and not just fictional characters.
I dont think the writers of SPN initially meant for chuck to play as God until later on in the series. Weve all got to remember that kripke is the original show runner and SPN was set to actually end at season 5. So the original script had chuck as a profit. I think originally it was up to us to decide chucks ending. Kripke left after season 5 so i dont think that chuck was ever meant to be God until later on in the series
I disagree. Remember the time when Chuck touches Cass right before Raphael destroyes him? Look at the way Chuck sees Cass, with love, like a father. Then at the end of an episode he dissapears, that was our clue!!
I always hated but loved Metatron at the same time but I really started liking him more when he stood up to God and called him on his bullshit and called him a COWARD straight to his face!! lol that was my favorite scene of the whole series👏🏾👏🏾
@Wayward Winchester Really hope you see this. Could you tell me exactly which Kevin Macleod song you used for the background music in this video? The dude has thousands of songs and I can't go through them all.

So much metatron hatred in the series but he did so well redeeming himself. His story was really well written.
To think I used to like him especially how they introduced him in season 11 when the entire town was brought back after a attack by amara during that scene with him singing I just was saying hallelujah

@@AerYdmyg well he manipulates her all the time easily
@@godslayer8894 and did quite literally seal her away for millions of years, the only reason he didnt do it a second time was hesitation (or maybe plot since even now we dont know how much of that arc was planned maybe he wanted his sister back). her character arc is about empowerment and self worth so she spoke the way she did, but chuck always had her under his thumb.
Chuck had no influence on what sam and dean did .. sam freed the darkness and it was by his choices, not because of chuck
They were one being twins when they separated Chuck became the light Amara became the darkness. That's the whole theory behind the Big bang theory.
every time I watch a video on chuck, I begin to understand him more and more.
Well said but we don't really know for sure if Death is actually older than Chuck.
Please can someone confirm this cause my memory sucks 😂
If that is true, then there's multiple Deaths but only one of God and Amara.
God creating nature is basically creating the first Artificial intelligence, and that really bothers me sometimes...
Why is that so? It's the turn of humans to create their own AI now. Gonna be fun.
@Agnish Roy Degrees of intelligence and for what purpose. Nature is more like a learning algorithm, which is still considered Artificial Intelligence, than something sentient and self aware.
Artificial means man made dumbass

Look what Nature achieves on its own 👍
My man, you put in 'Faith' and 'House of the Holy' definitely 2 of my favourite eps ever 😍 I've always adored Sam's line about how there's so much evil in the world he feels he could drown in it and his faith in something good and better helps him get by always resonates with me deeply :) 💪 Chuck in Disguise is like the funniest thing ever "Is this like a misery thing?" 🤣🤣 Best disguise ever!!!

Obviously that's ridiculous but there's many services and Networks that are interested in that exact format and the cherry on top: SPN has maybe the most dedicated fanbase in the history of TV, that built in fanbase is money right away. Our boys aren't going anywhere in the long run :D
Thank you for your kind wishes and you take care too, Miriam. Hopefully chat again soon and maybe you'll have some good news to report 🙏

Absolutely!
This is legit the best foreshadowing i've ever seen in my life
I just love the mind tricks they played with us the viewers regarding chuck.

I would've loved it if Sam had the amulet in HIS pocket at that time and Dean pulls it out.
Remember when Joshua described God as a "gardener"? ..."creating gardens" - "writing new scripts" - creating new "petri-dishes" - all those things are very similar - he had always been obsessed with creating life and watching it develop from very close - often watch turn upon itself ...AND ALL FOR HIS OWN AMUSEMENT, not for the love of it.
i'm so glad you made this. Saved me so much time and i got to enjoy the arcs
Was he actually god when his character was first introduced? or is god simply possessing him, so he is recognisable to sam and dean?

20:25 the tone of his voice and face really shows the truth but I didn't notice after watch it several times. Damn it chuck.
Chuck's first appearance in the episode called "Monster at the end of the book"
pretty much foreshadowing what Chuck truly is...a monster and the final villain at the end of Supernatural
But does this mean that Amara was right?

While a single fan crowd would ofcourse yield results in their favour, it would perhaps be a bit more accurate to have these sessions as part of a livestream as well.
That way, gauging interest could be more widespread and accurate.

Chuck was still God under Kripke, at least in S5. Look at the ending of Swan Song.
