Alhaitham is a combo-based unit, kind of similar to Childe. His dendro application uptime requires timing and precision. You can't just spam skill, burst, or attacks while using him unlike other dps units. His complex gameplay makes sense because he's a strategic character.
I main both him and childe but imo hes a bit more flexible (and durable) than childe. Also more of a spread based dmg than nuke. Hyperbloom or aggravate team! Woo!

Not as painful as the Nahida grind. Climbing cliffs just for a few lotus. The pupas were easy compared to the lotus. Especially since a lot of them were near teleports.
Honestly, as someone who got Cyno and AlHaitham, he was def so much easier to farm for than Cyno. The pulpas didn't need any quest to be fully unlocked, and were pretty easy to find.
It depends tbh, if you have 3 mirrors(the green shards next to him when he uses his skill) his burst will do more slashes and aka deal more dmg, it also works if he has 1 mirror or 2 mirrors, to get 3 mirrors you aim his skill up and then plunge attack, yw!

Ayaka's burst would miss a lot if not for cryo, raiden national wouldn't be as good if she wasn't electro, and she couldn't be used in hyperbloom, hu tao's dmg would suck without vape. Geo characters and anemo dpses are the only ones who almost don't rely on their element. But a character also has to be good for them to be considered good, even if they're from a good element. There's a reason characters like collei, sayu and Candace are considered not very good despite being from the best elements.

Just be careful and have a healthy relationship with your fictional crushes etc... Don't obsess over them and understand that they aren't supposed to be in the center of your life. It is for your own good! Aside from that, enjoy the game you're playing and pull for your waifus and husbandos all you like!
It's not immune. I've also been using Kazuha and saved enough fragile resin to farm enough boss mats for lvl 90 as soon Alhaitham released and Kazuha has been doing anemo damage every time with his skill. The boss just has higher anemo resistance so if you use Kazuha for VV shred and not as a main dps you're fine. Anemo dps just doesn't work as well

What I love about alhaitham is that after using his e skill you gain those green shards and just use charged attack to use them so the count down isn't so bad
With his dendro infusion there's 3 ways to get it. 1 either charged atk or plunge atk once every 12 secs though that only lasts 4 secs, use his E that lasts 8 secs or 12 if you charge atk afterwards, or burst first for 12 secs then e when you're down a mirror to get another back then charged atk for another back so in total about 18 secs

Didn't know the new desert worm is immune to anemo. Been using Wanderer and Kazuha on it
