Today I finally received the DVD "Ghostbusters - Legacy" (Italian version)! However it is a wonderful box set! Rich content and casket embellished by internal lighting! 👌😊👻🚫
@@TheMagicGhostbuster No, I only bought the DVD. The casket in Italian version momentarily there isn't. Commenting on your box set I thought it had lights, but then reading on the internet I have seen that there are differences between European version and American version. In fact the lights are included in the American one, including the hardcover of the DVD's However beautiful the box is the same! ✌😊👻🚫
I saw alot of Uk reviews, and you Britts saying how you got screwed but you guys got the one ring in the middle earth box set U.S. just got the box set.🤷🏽♂️
we really did get screwed here in the UK again didn't we! it is a cool set though, but why the massive mark up in price in the UK vs. the USA superior version? I'd certainly like to know what they think they're playin at! Thanks for sharing some of the interesting bits!
I almost feel like they do it on purpose. They all probably come from the same factory in China so probably take more effort to change the production process. I'm now seeing on Facebook that a few people in the USA are getting wrong discs as well. I also saw someone put steelbooks in which thinking about it is what we really should have got.
@@TheMagicGhostbuster absolutely. I think this is just after effects of the pandemic on supply chains/production etc. It's still not great though, the lights in the box is something I can take or leave though
@@Mikebuster one thing I've heard about the lights is there is no way to change the batteries, which could mean they end up leaking in years to come and damaging the box. But yeah, not a big deal really. Personally I wish they did a statue like they did for the 30th anniversary set.
Sucks that you guys didn’t get the slip cases or lights. The set is cool, but definitely for hardcore fans. Luckily I got it for under $100 here in the US. I’m happy to have bought it for the special features discs, and I’m cool with the book being included since I haven’t ever seen it. But agree a new book about all three films would’ve been nice. And if they had put the discs in an Ecto, something similar to the AMC popcorn bucket I feel it would’ve been better to display. The trap box is neat, but not like it is in proper proportions so it’s a little odd. Still a cool set overall.
$100 is great, think that's about £75 in our money. An ecto would have been great or even a containment unit for something a bit different. Maybe they'll do that in a few years for the inevitable 40th anniversary box set! Did your lights work OK? Been hearing they can be temperamental.
@@TheMagicGhostbuster a containment unit would’ve be awesome! I’m sure if they do something for the 40th or if they make another sequel we will get something else. And I’m sure I’ll buy it. Haha. Yeah for $100 I feel it’s decent. I mainly bought it for the special features. Watching the preview cut now. It was listed for $150 most places over here in the beginning. For some reason Walmart had it for $89.99. Then when everyone else dropped it to $99.99, Walmart raised their price to that. The lights seem to work if you take out the GB 1 disc or a whatever is closest to the sensor most the time. If you pull out everting all at once they seem to work better. Kind of just silly really, they don’t stay on that long and you can’t see any glow except for that first spot or the spot for however many discs you’ve taken out. Be neater if it lit up behind them. The slipcases are nice though. Crazy that it cost more for you all, and has less included. That makes no sense.

Good review. Kinda pricey. Be neater if the set came with a small statue of slimer or marshmallow man.
