All one song is like Kanami's guitar solo. The change of the song and the tone of the guitar are genius.

"Awkward" is a monster of a song. They are currently my fav band.
This is from Shinkiba Studio Coast 2017 and "Awkward" is played between two other "monsters": "Matchless Gum" and "Daydreaming". This concert also has my favorite "Play" performance. And like you say, the guitar sound in this concert is probably the best I've heard - even better than on Zepp Tokyo 2018 and much much better than Line Cube Shibuya 2020... ( I noticed this when I found myself missing the crunchy power of Kanami's guitar during "Dice")

Sadly this video had been taken down around MAY2020, very rare ppl react to this song nowadays.

There are many great Japanese bands with guitar virtuosi but only Band Maid combines breath taking talent with a such a depth of material and styles. They can do metal, they can do J pop ( sort of) they are the ultimate rock band - no one comes close to Kanami's song writing talent and the band's ability to perform.
Love this song so much. Hope you are feeling well, I am going downhill health wise so I understand. Band Maid is my happy place through the pain

Actually I think it's from the Shinkiba Studio Coast concert, November 2017. The setlist shows 25 songs, this being 12th. The DVD for this show only had about 15 of the songs on it. Love this version.

Let's not forget that the warm voice of Saiki gives this song it's beautiful character.
I prefer the sound production of this Shinkiba - Studio Coast gig (November, 2017) slightly over the Tokyo - Zepp... also the lasers are not so predominant here and the edition is a lot less frantic.
There is also an Akasaka, Blitz gig (January, 2017), the best "YOLO" version belongs to that gig.👍

Is it just me or does Kanami play 5 different riffs in the first 90 seconds, oh and like you I love Miku's rhythm on this probably my favourite by her. Only downside of this song is it's far too short
