- Indika is a new indie game (with AAA visuals!) that has been getting some buzz for some of its "indie arthouse film" style and moments. In Indika, you play as the titular nun, who is sent on a mission to deliver a letter from her monastery, while meeting new people outside the walls and hearing the devil constantly whispering in her ear. Can Indika succeed on her quest? Join Save Data Team and find out!

The Bible Spoilers meme suddenly makes sense
Zak catering to us priest simps, love to see it
😂😂😂
Just finished watching and now I'm sitting here feeling like someone scooped out my soul w a melon baller. Great game. Very much wish I hadn't grown up catholic now
Doggamn 😅 that’s a great review honestly
Indika is basically "God is silent. Well done by you."
WOWWWW, VERY GOOD! 😂
“We were both had a deeply religious upbringing” oh I do hope this means we get some nice spicy takes or blasphemies.
Wild game. The story very much felt like some of the books I read in my lit classes in college, so I super enjoyed.
Also spoilers…..
When the kid gets shot in the mini-game/flashback, it’s after Indika denies knowing him for a third time, just like Peter denying Jesus 3 times. Great symbolism
Oooh, yeah very good biblical connection! Honestly, I would love to watch a video essay of literary analysis on this game. It’s so good.
@@SaveDataTeam A video essay on this would be awesome. I’m sure there are some clever religious/cultural references or thematic elements that I missed. I was raised Catholic so I got the larger Christian theological elements, but I’m not as familiar with Eastern Orthodoxy, so there’s probably some things there that I didn’t pick up on
This was so fun on stream it would be cool if you played more games like this!
Watching this playthrough while sick and half-delirious is a particularly trippy experience. Enjoyed it though, nice one guys!
Hope you feel better!
@@SaveDataTeam thanks!
@1:07:17 Fun fact: if you had a choice between a wolf, or one of those big fluffy Russian livestock-guardian dogs, you're actually probably better off with the wolf😅 That dog looks like it might have been a precursor to the modern day Russian Bear Dog, which are basically bread do defend the household with indiscriminate, lethal force, have a bite stronger than a lions, and are actually that size. There's a video where a single one takes down an entire pack of wolves like it's no big deal.
However, if you live in the middle of nowhere in the Russian mountains, surrounded only by large predators who want to eat your sheep, they make wonderful, loyal and loving family members, with proper training and a owner who can command their respect without being domineering.
That thumbnail is amazing! you did such a good job.
Thanks 😅 I had fun with this one
You can really feel the religious upbringing trauma in this stream 10/10, no notes
