Do you think it would work to repaint the graduations on a lathe/milling/etc handwheel?

With care you probably could make dials, you would have to set up some sort of guide and division fixture, but i doubt it would be very durable unless it can be protected. I think dial graduations are better of they are marked with a cutting tool then infilled with paint or ink.

Nice job. Do you think the wire regulator might work better if the end was sharpened to a point? Very good tool for repairing lines on my old Triangs.

That's an interesting thought. I will be experimenting during this week and will give that consideration, I've had a few other tips and I will upload my feedback. Thanks

Hi Steven, I published an update. I did try the pen with the wire ground to a point although quite tricky to do. It didn't seem to make any real difference so I didn't include it in the update, thanks for your input.

@@GoCreatehms Yeah i was thinking that might not work. i was thinking some kind of adjustable stopper at the top of the pot to stop or slow the flow of paint might prevent blobs at the end.

Angle the nibb towards the direction your moving so that the back edge doesnt scrape the wet line, put tape at start and finish and start and stop your line on the tape so you dont get the blob
