- A look into the details behind the Downhill Body Position and how it ensures stability and balance to help improve your bike control and handling. www.zepmountainbikecamps.com
The most helpful video ever! It fixed my finger pain caused by putting weight too far back, and added way more control and brake power with a balanced body position.
I've watched so many instructional bike videos and I've got to say- the advice here is really good.
back in the 90's there were no youtube, no lessons, not even double suspensions, no man made tracks, everything was brutal, pure and the track was made by instinct , now I have a GT Marathon Team issue and i'm watching this shit lol
Excellent tips and a well done video. Mountain biking looks like a lot more fun when you are on top of the bike rather than limping over to it and picking it up while trying to stop the bleeding.
This has to be the best tutorial ive seen on any subject
This was so helpful cause I always used to get really sore and fatigued hands so early in to my ride now I know why.
Great video, definitely worthy of the title of Best Downhill Mountain Bike Lesson. Thanks!
Wow, I actually feel like I learned something...Rarely do I get that feeling when watching youtube videos...I think you for this.
Great video,
Have watched it a couple of times and put it into practice, has greatly improved my comfort & confidence!
Thanks!!
thank you! i have been trying to change my riding position with out great success but this helps to make sense of it all!!!!
Thumbs up before I finished the video because of Concrete Schoolyard!
Subscribed because of the great vid :)
Extremely informative, and especially for beginners. All love from India. :)
Great video..I went for my first DH this morning and had sore hands...now I know why.
Cheers.
Amazing video man !! I been downhill riding since 2004 and even I learned something.
I've been racing pro for a few years now and he's got some awesome tips in there! Good video!
thanks this is a very detailed and complete instructive video. now I have to go out and ride
Thank you sir for making this video now i can practice this riding position
Depends on how you ride. I am a trek fan, if you want full suspension but you dont want to spend a lot or do anything crazy I would recommend an Fuel 7. If you are wanting to spend more money but you dont do any big jumps the Fuel 8's and 9s are awesome. If you are looking for some awesome down hill nothing beats a session 88, Good luck man keep riding. Also look at 29s but try before you buy they dont work for everyone I hate them but my buddy likes them.
This video really is awesome. They really have a good thing going. The only suggestion I can make is using a wireless mic for the outdoor instruction. It's a nitpick for sure, but everything else is so well done, this is one item that could easily be implemented to make the audio quality consistent. But enough internet coaching...well done guys!
Awesome video... there's so much crap out there (and people don't realize it), but this was made by professional instructors and it shows. Would be good to see it on some new bikes though and to see if there's any updates since 2010?
tanks from spain, congratulations¡¡ you are great
Good vid, you should make more! Was going to subscribe until i seen theres no more how to,s, but thanks!
i was soo into Road biking until is saw DH mountain biking :O
away from noisy traffic & cursing car drivers to the wilderness must be a dramatic epic experience. cant wait to try it out.
This definitely what i need.. nice tutorial. thanks
As soon as I heard Jurassic 5 in the intro music, I knew this would be a good video. :D
SUBSCRIBED! Awesome tutorials.
i Love this. helped me a lot thanks :)
@adelsubot yes u can... but when u are riding through bumps or stones... a back suspension will help to keep your body centred so that u wont move and slip off a foot or something like that ;)
josh gandos!!!! enggane nek mlumpat kaya curut yah

P.s. Sorry for my english.
Great information!
nice tutorial! ...thanks!
Thanks for the tips.
BmRoberts731: I, too, am a Trek fan and have a Fuel Ex 8. It can handle some pretty good drops. I dislike AVID brakes so I upgraded to Shimano and the bike itself can take on some pretty rough terrain.
very helpful video lesson much appreciated thank you from S.Korea!
You make a seriously good tutorial video mann cheers its helped me understand a bit more shit
No idea why I watch this stuff. Not like I even go outside... XD

@Goldpanda1225 google transition mountain bikes... they have a great range.
@frenzy36 yes - Whistler Bike Park
This looked wicked, where was this filmed at?
Hi I loved this video. I have a mountain I got from the Canadian tire. I think it has maybe 2-3 inch suspension. Its a Schwinn Incentive if you want to look it up. Do you think it would be a good idea to go downhill mountain biking with it? If not can you tell me some DH Mountain bikes lesser than $600? Please reply anyone. Thnx a lot
wery good video
@frenzy36 Some of it was Silverstar
@ZEPtechniques thanks
Dang, where you riding? I wish I had a place like that to ride where I live. They like to pave roads for bikes around here, The Legacy Trail, really sucks. I hate to think that I'd move out of state over a hobby. lol
great vid! mucho-helpo! =)
nice vid, thanks
thanks
im planing on geting a new mountian bike any suggestions
I ride a hard tail - still - I do apply these tips but when the terrain gets rough it gets hard to have full control over my bike, do I need to go full suspension or just train more?
Whoever is searching for the song! Jurassic Five - Concrete Schoolyard
is this track in ca?
@ZEPtechniques What kinda bikes do you guys use ??? Whats the average price ?
I'm almost positive that he rides in Whistler B.C Canada. British Columbia has some pretty sick places to ride. And obviously ski and snowboard.
where do u ride
LOVE Jurassic 5!
on 0:33 did u guys make those rampss?
can l dh with just front suspension bike????
What bike make is that ?
wohoho Transition Tr450 the best dh bike!
wish i lived in Whistler, B.C.
bikes are the only thing i look at and drool...
Double rainbow;) @ 7:25.8, upper right corner.
New Zealand or Aus?
Hi Karl and Gestosa, You don't have to be 20 years younger. Just go slower downhill. It is still thrilling.
I wish my mate could have taught me like this rather than just pointing me down a red run on my third ever ride, then getting pissed off when I couldn't do it.
This was filmed at the whistler bikepark
Does anyone know the first song?
The video matches the 2nd part of the title!!!!! ha
okay,WHO WAS THE ONE THAT PUT THE ONLY THUMB DOWN??
where is that???........whistler????
this is fucking ace
thanks
It says it on the bike itself but it is transition
In summary: you must practice to comvertir your bike into an extension of your body
