Okay, at first I didn’t like this tune BUT I cannot lie- so I didn’t “ WANT “TO LIKE IT ,( if ya know what I mean ) because I believe that most people (males more so) considered it to be “ corny” and “lame “and not “hip”or “cool”or “jamming “.The title is so very “ old and stale “. Sappy and weak, ya know- for school girls with crushes on boys. I’ll be sure to say that I thought that too.Once I listened to it and I was hooked on it, but I cannot let anyone know! I figured I’d belaughed at by my friends and not her the end of it. I’m my own man and I’ll never ever “ deny”myself the opinion or feelings or even the happiness of “ dancing to a different beat” and liking it and not caring what others say or do or think. Take it from me; DO NOT EVER DO THAT TO YOURSELF AND BE PROUD TO BE WHO YOU ARE! Embrace the new “you “and see how much you will “grow” and don’t look back. I always loved this song . I was a 6 years old when it came out . My brother was a summer fan so I grow up with her music. I have finally found somebody who like my sense of human been . Something that was mistreated from every early attempted of love . Watching videos from old tunes that I like , this song popped up again . I could not content tears of joy listen to it one more time . Thanks God , there is always somebody who can love who we truly are .
