The neighborhood's property values soar to remarkable heights, reflecting its exclusivity and opulence.
Ikoyi epitomizes a harmonious blend of architectural sophistication and wealth and is a beacon of elegance and prosperity in Lagos.

You are very brave, riding your bicycle from Morocco to Nigeria.
We are Germans and used to live in Lagos for 6 yrs in the seventies. First in Ikeja and then in Ikoyi. At 4.30 I can see the house we lived in. It used to be Fowler Rd. and now Oluwa Rd. Cross over Kings Way, there is the Ikoyi Club, where we were members. The building we lived in belongs now to Sahara Energy. I think only offices and no apartments. Next to it used to be NEPA. My children went to the German School in Apapa. I am surprised how much Lagos has change for the better. Ikoyi is unrecognizable. There used to be a large beautiful Park at the Lagoon, called Ikoyi Park. My children used to go there to play. It's gone now, build up with houses.
More than 40 yrs later, we live in Australia now, but one son and his family live in Senegal and son works in Guinea (Conakry). Thank you for all your beautiful videos.
I wish you visit again, I'm ready to host you in Lagos ikoyi, and see things yourself again

I see this part of Lagos on RUclips all the time.
Oh really? Ok please stay tuned I'll show you other parts you haven't seen before
@@edwonder_pt. 😃Many RUclipsrs who show us the island, Lekki, etc. or any affluent areas of Africa, tell us that this is the side we never get to see. @TruthSerum101 Ok thanks for the feedback 🙏
@@TruthSerum101 What is your point though?
You can say the same about the US. They only show the beautiful side of their cities on TV and Movies for the rest of the world. You think we don't have impoverished areas and neighborhood in the US?
Have been to California the city of Angel? You tell me what is so Angelic about skid roll, and the millions of drug infested slums, homelessness in America.
What is wrong with Nigeria projecting its good and beautiful side of this great country to the world? We are tired of the constant negativities about Nigeria.
For some reasons black people in America are disappointed there is this beautiful side of Africa they thought did not exist. They think Africans live on trees. A black America said this in 2023. So I don't understand your disappointment.

Our pace might be annoyingly sluggish, but it is still not stagnant!
Those yellow buses are being phased out of Lagos, as well as the horrid Okadas!

I can hear him loud and clear 😊
Your title? Who won't show us this part of Lagos?
U are so daft. So u think city is all about it skyline?😂
Watching those cars roll through the Stop and not care about the traffic symbols gave me a heart attack 😩🙆🏿♂️
Some Lagos drivers don't understand traffic rules
@@edwonder_pt According to them traffic rules are for suegbes ony 😂😂
Why cant they make most of the city like this. They've been showinh the same strip from different angles the entire video
That’s because the video is dedicated entirely for this road that’s why didn’t feature any other road
You don't know what you are talking about, this is ikoyi not Victoria island
A city that can't even guarantee a stable power supply
Yes, but at least we don't have drug addicts lying on the roadsides in tents!
👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!
If I don't subscribe. What is my gain?
Hahaha thanks for your support, it means a lot to me
Nice but there is know reasons why the whole Lagos cannot be well developed as Lagos state is the 5th biggest economy in Africa...please show us Itire, Ikorodu Egbeda,Badagry...
Yeah I get your point while Lagos is a significant economic hub, addressing development disparities in areas like Itire, Ikorodu, Egbeda, and Badagry is crucial for more inclusive growth. I will do videos of these places regardless.
Growth is exponential while Change is constant the whole of Lagos is not the same as it was 20years ago and will not be the same in the next 20years... #Fact💯

How to watch 9 minutes of the same place (one road). This is a distortion of Lagos. The city is the biggest shithole!!!

Says a Bantu!!!!
Kai!! Lagos has suffered!!
A Bantu, of all people!! Chaii!!
👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!!
The only problem I have with Lagos is yoruba people laying claims to it.
How is it a problem? Yoruba never lay claim on the Land as their own. Infact, the notion that lagos is a no man's land was popularized by the Non-Yorubas.
@@okesegun2118 lol are you for real? Every time, Lagos lagos lagos, Igbos leave lagos. Go back to your region 🙄
How is that a problem???
Hausas lay claim to Kano, Igbo lay claim to Enugu, ijaws lay claim to Yenagoa, Edos lay claim to Benin city !
Lagos's history is unique, its internal and external migration is extensive and long!
But if Yorubas want to claim Lagos , why should that be a problem to you?
👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!
@@aframaco9491 Because yoruba did not build lagos. Igbos built Enugu, Hausa built Kano, Edos build Benin, Ijaws built Yenagoa.. Lagos was a Nigerian project. Tomorrow now some tribes from Abuja will start claiming it too. Best yoruba can do is Ibadan!
@@okesegun2118 I guess you are not on social media. Have you ever heard of "we will kick Igbos out of lagos"? "Igbos leave yoruba land"? You saw what happened to Gbadebo a true indegene of Lagos in the Last election? questions about his true yoruba identity? When Tinubu and Sanwo Olu are not even from Lagos. When they say Lagos is no man's land, they mean that Lagos is a Nigerian project! Just like Abuja today!
Nothing spectacular here
It's not a fictitious Disneyland , it's people's home city , pillock!

You sound bitter and jealous. As we can clearly see there is a more than enough greens and trees in this video. Where do you live by the way to make such conclusions?
U said the part of lagos they won't show u 😂😂?? What kind of lie is that ?? This place is over marketed a lot and its stilll a shithole like the rest of lagos just a shithole come there during the raining season floods
