Not FPV goggles, but you can use VR goggles and any pair of VR's will work as long as your cellphone fits inside of them, there should be an icon around the top right side of the app or in the intelligent features section to put your cellphone into VR mode! Thanks for watching!!!

Wow looks like a really nice drone!!! I found it on Amazon for $229 with a $50 discount coupon. Been looking into the DJI Mavic Mini but also other options and this looks like the best second option I may try out first. .
Now I've ordered a 36(only available on Amazon but not on their website) .. Couldn't really figure out what the difference was? A few grams difference was the only thing I could find. And apparently they sell two 37' s with quite a bit difrence in price? Do you know why? Thanks for the nice review!
Try recalibrating the compass and place drone in different places on the ground, so if you don't get any satellites in the first Takeoff spot move the drone about a few feet from there and see if you start getting a connection to satellites, it can take a few minutes sometimes for the drone to start picking up satellite signals, it just depends on the area you are flying in, things like power lines, cell towers and home wifi signals can effect the Drones ability to connect to satellites, also keep in mind that most GPS Drones have to be connected to at least 6 or more satellites in order for the drone to take off in GPS mode.
It can take it a few mins for it to find enough satellite signals especially if there is a lot of interference in the area(cellphone signals,Wifi signals) you can also try moving the drone to different spots in the area and see if that helps also make sure your doing your compass and gyro Calibrations

No it will not work with 2.4Ghz. You need 5.8Ghz (802.11 ac) WiFi to connect the app to the drone. Don't confuse 5G with 5.8Ghz WiFi. Those are two different things.
What i Need to do to take it out of beginner Mode? You say there are more options in the Menu if the Drohne is out of it but i found nothing in the manual and on google…. Pls help
Tap the 3 lines in the upper right hand corner of the app and you should find beginner mode in there, there should be a slider button that you can tap to turn it off
Nice video. I had one too, but from the moment I did the calibration the image freezes. It could still fly but without video. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but still no luck. My smartphone has 5ghz wifi. Batteries of the drone and controller were full.
@@HubCityDrones BTW. I'm looking at a couple of drones. POLLTAR JT-1 (Asia), Le-Idea 37, Toysky S188, Domibot EX5 Pro. I think they are all the same except for the top cover and controller. The Domibot is €145 on Banggood, The S188 is €155 (Euro) when using the AliExpress app. Idea 37 is more expensive. You pay for the brand. Reason why I a interested is because it is smaller than my F114k, and the video is much better than my SG108 Pro . The follow-me is also as I want it, compass style where it stays north south east west of you. So you can have it fly in front or next to you. (Most drone will yaw and eventually only follow from behind) Not that I expect the follow-me to be as accurate as my Fimi A3. That drone is something else. Now I have watched a video of the S188 and there was severe horizon. But the controller has built-in battery and telemetry screen. So what do you think? Same? I think so.

Hello, great review. I bought this drone and I can't find anything about the "beginners mode" in the app. I can only change the radius ( just like in you video ) but no indication to switch off beginners mode or set max hight and distance. I even don't know what differance it makes if you change the radius ... Where does this stand for ? Does it really have a beginners mode ? The image quality of the camera is fantastic for something in this price range. Software however is primitive and no tutorial for setting everything correctly. Thanks for your reply.
The Radius is how big you want your circle to be for the P.O.I. (Point of Interest) as far as beginner mode im tge app there should be a little setting wheel or gear looking icon in the upper right hand corner of the your main app screen tap that and there should be a parameters setting you can click on if not after you tap the wheel/gear there may be 3 little dots where the gear wheel was tap the dots and it will be in there, if you can't find it let me know I haven't flown this drone in awhile so I will look further into it and help you out
@@HubCityDrones Thanks for your feedback but there is no little settings wheel, just the 3 dots and when you tap these, you can change the surround radius but not the hight, nor the distance. LE-IDEA IDEA 37 isnt availible in my country atm. there is a LE-IDEA IDEA 39 tho. the quistion is: is LE-IDEA putting a higher number on the improved drones? sother words, is the 39 the better improved drone?
I did some reasearch and this drone is the same drone as the Domibot EX5 Pro sold on Banggood. I was gonna order the EX5 but I don't have the patience to wait 4 to 6 weeks. I just received the IDea37 today. If you do order from Banggood be care with model numbers because there is an "Eachine EX5" and the "Domibot EX5 Pro". The Eachine EX5 is an older model with the gimbal.
I bought this model but am having trouble with the gps signal. There is not much troubleshooting info out there for this model. Do you have any ideas to help for gps signal? The drone flyies great without the gps but stays in indoor mode. Thanks!

Yes it Records video in 2.7K (2560*1440) and in 4K (3840*2160) but only to the SD Card videos stored on your phone are in 720p am not sure what you mean by MPX?
I bought this drone took it out to try and fly it but it WILL NOT unlock for flight at all no matter what I do how many times I press the GPS mode button it is stuck in indoor mode.
Did you do the compass and Gyro Calibration? the app will tell you how many satellites you are connected to, depending on the area you are in, it can take a little bit for it to connected to enough satellites (6 or more) to have a strong enough satellite signal for a safe GPS flight.
@@HubCityDrones Yes I did all the calibration that it told me to do and read the instructions multiple times it was stuck on indoor mode. I'm returning it tomorrow since I just bought a mavic mini instead.

Yes absolutely but am not sure how fast you could go before the drone couldn't keep up with, also remember this Drone does not have Obstacle Avoidance so I would do it a well open area

If it goes out of the controllers ranger it will go up about 60ft or so and head back to were it took off from (RTH) just remember No Obstacle Avoidance

I bought this very drone based on your glowing review! 👍👍 I've been messing around, enabled indoor mode and am now curiously enough stuck with that mode. Any ideas how I can re-enable GPS support a.k.a outdoor mode? Enabling indoor mode: long press the "Turn Back" / "One key return" button for 3 seconds. One would think that long-press acts as a toggle, but that seems not to be the case.

Sorry I don't Speak or read this language, but if your asking how to turn Beginner Mode off you have to tap the little settings wheel in the upper right hand corner of the APP and it will be in there after you turn it off you have to slide the height and distance settings to the right
I have a Toysky S188 which is the same drone but with a different controller. It will stay in compass position relative to you. Also in altitude?? I don't know either. Good question. I don't think so. My Fimi A3 and F11 do not change altitude. They too have 'compass style' follow-me. But there's another problem with follow-me. I can't set height and distance. When I press follow-me it just flies to 5 metres distance 3 metres high or something and that's it. As soon I use the sticks it comes out of follow-me. So it's basically useless. Which it is shame. Because all the rest is pretty nice. Cheap, good video, small and light. I really wish Chinese drone manufacturers would come up with a true specially dedicated follow-me (GPS) and active-track (optical) drone for a budget. They easily could if they would listen to me and put everything already there on cheap drones in one package, small, safe, prop guards, audio to hear where it is, return-to-controller etc, , maybe simple obstacle avoidance, a whole list. Unfortunately they don't always understand what consumers are looking for. Video quality is no everyone's priority. BTW the Fimi has a controller with built-in GPS and that makes is super accurate and responsive. Very few drones including high-end come even close. But for rock climbing? I don't think it will be useful. My cheap L109 Pro so far is the best cheap drone following the phone. Compass style, return-to-controller(phone), I can use the sticks. The video quality however is poor. It's funny, there are apps for the Tello to have it (active) track you and change height in the terrain. You see, it's usually just a matter of the right programming! The Idea 37 could do a perfect job if the programming and app was done correctly. But programmers cost money.
Mavic 2 will change height . ruclips.net/video/_VAuNb4h1Ww/видео.html OK the thing is bloody expensive. And for some silly reason DJI never uses GPS only optical active track. Of course the advantage of active-track is the object will stay in the middle of the frame. And you can track object other then yourself! I wonder if my L109 Pro will change altitude together with the phone? Maybe I can try it out next week. Again the video quality is bad compared to the Idea 37 or other drones with onboard EIS. But from closer up it's not as big a problem. I also tried if other apps connect to my S188. No lucks so far. Question is if the type of follow-me will change with a different app? Or is everything programmed in the drone itself?

Unfortunately you can't change the frame rate, but honestly if your looking for an inexpensive starter Drone this little dude is pretty cool!

Yes it should still work but it is recommended to use 5G for a better FPV transmission

I have a Toysky S188 which is the same drone but with a different controller. It will stay in compass position relative to you. Also in altitude?? I don't know either. Good question. I don't think so. My Fimi A3 and F11 do not change altitude. They too have 'compass style' follow-me.
But there's another problem with follow-me. I can't set height and distance. When I press follow-me it just flies to 5 metres distance 3 metres high or something and that's it. As soon I use the sticks it comes out of follow-me. So it's basically useless. Which it is shame. Because all the rest is pretty nice. Cheap, good video, small and light.
I really wish Chinese drone manufacturers would come up with a true specially dedicated follow-me (GPS) and active-track (optical) drone for a budget. They easily could if they would listen to me and put everything already there on cheap drones in one package, small, safe, prop guards, audio to hear where it is, return-to-controller etc, , maybe simple obstacle avoidance, a whole list. Unfortunately they don't always understand what consumers are looking for. Video quality is no everyone's priority.
BTW the Fimi has a controller with built-in GPS and that makes is super accurate and responsive. Very few drones including high-end come even close. But for rock climbing? I don't think it will be useful. My cheap L109 Pro so far is the best cheap drone following the phone. Compass style, return-to-controller(phone), I can use the sticks. The video quality however is poor.
It's funny, there are apps for the Tello to have it (active) track you and change height in the terrain. You see, it's usually just a matter of the right programming! The Idea 37 could do a perfect job if the programming and app was done correctly. But programmers cost money.

Of course the advantage of active-track is the object will stay in the middle of the frame. And you can track object other then yourself!
I wonder if my L109 Pro will change altitude together with the phone? Maybe I can try it out next week. Again the video quality is bad compared to the Idea 37 or other drones with onboard EIS. But from closer up it's not as big a problem.
I also tried if other apps connect to my S188. No lucks so far. Question is if the type of follow-me will change with a different app? Or is everything programmed in the drone itself?
