Have the same watch. Bought it when i was on vacation in Thailand. When i saw it i exactly told my wife that it was a limited edition, and showed her that i had a tab open in my phone about this watch. She fell for it and told me if you want it buy it 😂. Love the watch and wear it even more than my black bay 58. Just wish the bezel would be rotting freely.
Good video and fair review 👍🏻 I own this model. I tried to like the bracelet. It did not work out. I found a really nice aftermarket one that I enjoy. The bezel action on my model has plenty of friction and I do not have any issues with unwanted movement of the bezel.
Same for me with the bezel though I have an exactly 7 inch wrist. I think they musgmt have sized it to inch increments or something because I took 4 links out total and it fits perfectly. Didn't have to microadjust. The clasp is solid on mine too so it ended up being a perfect home run for me. I started watch collecting with vintage watches and service my own so when this came out, I snagged one immediately.
Before I sold it I was looking at if replacing the bezel was possible or if I could superglue it ^^. Such a shame because I think the design is iconic.
Hah thanks for that I would never have spotted it, I'm sure I called it the wrong thing in the video too. I always look at the name and think Spark then mess it up ^^

Fair enough! I sold mine towards my BB54 and a Speedy. I do miss it sat in the box though.
Its a pressure bezel which gets toghter under water pressure as you ho deeper it gets stiffer for diving use
Now that actually makes a lot of sense, thanks for letting me know! Never seen anything like it before.
@@ImpulsiveWatchesTutte le lunette a frizione hanno questa caratteristica

With over 15k made, kind of hard for Seiko to call it limited lol.
I have this watch and as much as I love this piece it frustrates me and I agree with everything you pointed out.
Great watch though.

Just bought the original 1968 version! I'm so excited 😊
SRPK17 not SPRK17 😊 I have one and really like it but I took it off the original bracelet, which is not great, IMO, due to how it cant flex inwards.
The bezel is useless but I do like it for some reason. 😊
