Here is another consequence ive discovered. Refuse to follow unsafe instructions, get fired. It happened to me when i refused to remove hearing protection in a 113db environment. I was blacklisted and Worksafe after instructing me that i had the right to refuse, now refuses to back me up against the contractor because "they are federal regulated". Hundreds of workers a day re being exposed to harm by this contractor and Worksafe knows about it. Unless someone dies nothing happens.
