Sir adding to the info you gave about British preferential treatment, I have a question, did Britishers also commit this same type of preferential treatment to the already existing Indian caste system which was simply a concept to divide and identify people of different occupations but was made a subject of discrimination and hierarchy ranging from brahmins to shudras?
Chavdas are Kshatriya, from the ancient western India, when the present day states of Gujarat and Rajasthan, were not separated. For example, Mularaja Solanki I, was a Suryavanshi Rajput ruling over Gujarat . His Queen Consort was Naikidevi, a Chalukya princess from Goa, who took over the empire post his early demise. Her massive victory in the battle of Gadarghatta, deterred any raider in the future from entering India via the route of the fierce Rani’s empire so they took the longer one through Rajasthan. If Sir Abhijit Chavda is teleported back to 1100 A.D. and his GPS location is traced, then his clan might as well be located in what is today’s Ahmedabad or, Jaipur, who knows?
Sir, much respect to you now 🙏🙏🙏 proly you are 1st parsi hv heard that accept parsis were involved and benefited from opium trade also accepting they were given preferential treatment hence they rose to high level, lot respect to you Sir 👍.
Fact is that majority of humans like being given someone or something to deify. I have noticed this in all walks of life. No great enterprise is accomplished successfully without group effort and yet, the leader gets all the credit. Thanks to the internet, decentralisation is setting in and people are encouraged to think for themselves. The Parsi community, as great as it is, is NOT the be all and end all of entrepreneurship. Show me someone who, without inherited wealth, has built an empire and I'll show you someone to emulate and admire. That's it. Wishing all every success in life. Jai Bharat! 💪🙏🕉
They were always argumentative. Only the Sanatan majority knew how to assimilate them. Also, there is one very good thing about Parsis, they're kind and Gunagrahak/गुण ग्राहक, they have the ability to understand virtues.
Great analysis , without preferential treatment none of the group will become super successful🏆💪 👍 words like business acumen just fancy words used for some communities 😁

Very correct !! In Calcutta once a British senior royalty visited. In the welcome ceremony there were nearly a thousand Indian soldiers and on the whole only 4 white british officers. Royalty asked his British friend, "so what stops these thousand Indians from overpowering the 4 British"? The answer was "Indians are very selfish hence easy to divide, they are also timid and hence are very subservient".
Well, on hindsight (post the World Wars), we know they've greatly outdone Indians in selfishness & divisiveness. And the second half was wrong right off the mouth. A good soldier has always been _expected to be subordinate_ to their commanders, since the dawn of humanity. This does not come from their "timidity", but from their martial discipline.

I agree that preferential treatment is what distinguishes a lot of times and helps a group to grow enormously But which community who is sitting at the top now didn't got the preference? Chitpavans did nepotism in maratha Empire Marathas, Jats and other land owner castes got huge swathes of land just because of their caste Rajputs got preference and land because of marital relations between them and Mughals Brahmins in India in various regions were give huge land holdings either as dan or because they got into power and didn't had to pay taxes Khatris, lohanas and many other business communities were also exempted to pay taxes Bengali brahmins used to get many villages which is very well mentioned in their own origin stories So how come these communities are getting overlooked when they too literally got free benefits from the authorities and it is a big reason that they are powerful today?
Hello Sir, recently I came across one of your videos on Beerbiceps and since then its like I am literally addicted to the geopolitical knowledge that you share. Today I came across this news about Rajnath Singh and our army saying we are ready and just waiting for orders about reclaimimg POK and Gilgit. Whats your take on this. Is this only to put Pak on backfoot or Is this really possible in near future with everything thats going on currently around the world
My 2 points with respect to the topics discussed in this video: 1) The stooges of Brits (and perhaps of Mughals earlier) were allotted lands, which were called as "Namak haram jaagir" (property obtained by selling one's conscience and other things associated with conscience) 2) In military, there are ample cases of differential treatment. Not just between General and a subordinate officer, but more so between commissioned officers and non-commissioned soldiers. Do you know that if a soldier loses, even, both of his legs on the battlefield he will get 10% of what an officer will get if he gets his finger cut? In previous governments era, the military establishments have literally treated soldiers as their "jaagir". And you would think that current govt is graceful? Better yes, graceful not even in dreams. OROP is still not implemented in the real spirit it was supppsed to be. Fail to understand why such colonial and differential treatment, when we are removing everything that reminds us of colonial era?

Its not Punjabi but Sikhs and only after 1907 when there were growing tensions between Hindus and Muslims. Sikhs were separated and many Macsikhs Organizations were formed with the help of British who took over Sikhs religious places and leadership and it is even today
@@SHIVAM-qe8uo sounds interesting plzz elaborate. But still my point is pretty valid
@@KaranSingh-vc1gu What you said is correct but there is a flaw, Punjabi is not equal to Sikhi. It has 40% Hindu population even now. Before early 20th century Sikh population was even less, hardly 20%. British started giving lands to Jatt Sikhs so most of Hindu Jats started changing their religion on paper, later it became norm. There are many other such incidents, you should study Punjab by Rajamohan Gandhi and follow Puneet Sahani

Absolutely based reply from Abhijit Chavda ji !
Parsis even have Marathi surnames...
Example: Anahita Pandole. Darius Pandole
Yes, parsees are not at all all goody-goody philanthropists.
They along with all IT cos like Wipro, Infosys fund anti India news agencies like quint, The wire
4 month pahle search kiya tha to ye samajh mein aaya ki chavda is a gujrati surname.....
Prof. Abhijit, I agree with you. Hard facts, past or present, alas, could not be digested by a lot of people. Doing home work is anathema to them unfortunately.
Chavda is a rajput surname most likely from haryana and rajasthan
Noo
Yes. I don't know about haryana but I'm a chavda rajput from Rajasthan. Chavdas mostly populate northern Gujarat and southern Rajasthan.
Nope. It's mostly found in gujarat
@@Sauravme mostly in Gujarat. Then Rajasthan. I'm a chavda rajput from Udaipur Rajasthan.
@@brksha Your forefathers had migrated to Rajasthan. That doesn't means original chavdas were from Rajasthan

Absolutely right Abhijit sir!
Ratnaji tata ran the opium business (JRD Tatas father)
Wht is of intrigue is what were the Parsis doing before British entered india ?
So the observation that the rising if Parsees as great business men after British arrived is perfect
Indian businessmen were always there were always rich 'Seth'(vaishya )
Though it is true that in 19 th century many Indian businessmen to were favoured by British
Hi Abhijit ji. I was ambivalent about you. Now I have decided to subscribe. I don’t want to miss all the great content you have made or will make. 🚩🙏
Lord Abhijit Chavda 🙏🏻
You are a national treasure sir, also azim premji dad prospered during 1945 times , not sure whether british favored him because of his ideology
I respect you sir but please, it's "Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw". Please mention the rank as well. I don't know what kind of person he was but I feel good that only 2 people have achieved that rank and they should definitely be respectfully spoken.
Wow! someone really needed to speak out the truth - Thank you
Sir adding to the info you gave about British preferential treatment, I have a question, did Britishers also commit this same type of preferential treatment to the already existing Indian caste system which was simply a concept to divide and identify people of different occupations but was made a subject of discrimination and hierarchy ranging from brahmins to shudras?
Actually yes...yes they did. Infact the excasberated it to a insane level
Yes Britishers did that
Chavdas are Rajputs(Kshatriyas), i think so
Ji
Yes. Chavdas are Rajputs. I'm one.
No one kshatriya by birth
This also applies to jatt community of punjab. That is why they are the richest in punjab.
1:42 What about Turkmen genetics from things like the Ilkhanate and Aq Qoyulu?
Fact is that majority of humans like being given someone or something to deify. I have noticed this in all walks of life. No great enterprise is accomplished successfully without group effort and yet, the leader gets all the credit. Thanks to the internet, decentralisation is setting in and people are encouraged to think for themselves. The Parsi community, as great as it is, is NOT the be all and end all of entrepreneurship. Show me someone who, without inherited wealth, has built an empire and I'll show you someone to emulate and admire. That's it. Wishing all every success in life. Jai Bharat! 💪🙏🕉
I truly believe that You are one of the most intelligent person I've ever known, sir.
From when did Bawalok become so argumentative? 😂
Who is Bawalok?
They were always argumentative. Only the Sanatan majority knew how to assimilate them. Also, there is one very good thing about Parsis, they're kind and Gunagrahak/गुण ग्राहक, they have the ability to understand virtues.
@@khosrowanushirwan7591 Parsees are fondly known as Bawa in India. Bawalok or Bawalog means Bawa people or Parsi people.
They have always been atleast a good percentage of them and have love for Iran more than india. There are good people too.

so saurashtri differed with Hindi Urdu and Gujarati Marathi...
it's my personal research ji
Aaj Ka Hi example Lelo Dalai lama Tibetan Buddhist Monks & People's Live In Dharmshala 😊
Hearing this is like dagger thru chest 😔
Well, on hindsight (post the World Wars), we know they've greatly outdone Indians in selfishness & divisiveness.
And the second half was wrong right off the mouth. A good soldier has always been _expected to be subordinate_ to their commanders, since the dawn of humanity. This does not come from their "timidity", but from their martial discipline.
@@jojobabok9373 Only IDIOTS show discipline while their country, family n friends are being enslaved and impoverished every single day............ONLY IDIOTS !!!
@@amitkp6957 Mercenary armies existed (& continue to exist). And the "Royal Indian Army" was just that. They were soldiers trained, armed & paid by the British.
What you're expecting comes from a spirit of nationalism, which was in its infancy in India back then. The "country" you're referring to, simply didn't exist yet.

Abhijit, I agree with you on Sam Manekshaw. Bangladesh liberation was a collective victory and excellent demonstration of our battle strategist, frontline generals and Intel. I never liked Manekshaw as he disregarded Netaji as if he inherited that duty from his British masters.
How can one man have this much knowledge
I agree that preferential treatment is what distinguishes a lot of times and helps a group to grow enormously
But which community who is sitting at the top now didn't got the preference?
Chitpavans did nepotism in maratha Empire
Marathas, Jats and other land owner castes got huge swathes of land just because of their caste
Rajputs got preference and land because of marital relations between them and Mughals
Brahmins in India in various regions were give huge land holdings either as dan or because they got into power and didn't had to pay taxes
Khatris, lohanas and many other business communities were also exempted to pay taxes
Bengali brahmins used to get many villages which is very well mentioned in their own origin stories
So how come these communities are getting overlooked when they too literally got free benefits from the authorities and it is a big reason that they are powerful today?
North or South, east or west 🤔 abhijit is the best 👌.period!
Is this only to put Pak on backfoot or Is this really possible in near future with everything thats going on currently around the world
ji ...
just a word for similarity with phonetics sound...
visthau .... thermal ( saurashtri)
avestha......thermal or Agni ( Farzi)....ji...
My 2 points with respect to the topics discussed in this video:
1) The stooges of Brits (and perhaps of Mughals earlier) were allotted lands, which were called as "Namak haram jaagir" (property obtained by selling one's conscience and other things associated with conscience)
2) In military, there are ample cases of differential treatment.
