I do my best to bring you the most relevant content about selling print on demand and printables, creating interesting print on demand designs, testing myself print on demand products and their quality, as well as provide you with marketing tutorials, and so much more! Another 60’s g’ma here. I started investigating POD with some of those click-bait RUclipsrs. Then it started appearing as if their goal was to promote affiliate links (Creative Fabrica, Printify, and Sales Samurai) rather than actually educating. I keep returning to your channel because I appreciate the authenticity. Maybe that is why the older gen gravitates toward you. Thank you so much for being YOU, in ALL areas of your life. This world needs more of that! Loved hearing about your journey in POD!
As someone who is in my 60's I appreciate you sharing your life experiences it helps to inform me as to your reasoning behind your recommendations or opinions. You be you; don't let the nay sayers get you down. They will leave and go somewhere else.
“It was pretty.” I’m just starting, but right after I opened my Zazzle shop, I just sat there and cried because I was so proud. I made pretty things! If nothing ever sells because I can’t figure out the marketing, that moment there will keep me at it. Priceless. ❤

Yes, I am in Canada where life is very expensive, unfortunately.
I can't do geographic arbitrage because I am very disabled and my benefits would cease if I moved out of country and many less expensive countries just don't have the resources I need for my type of disability. (Uh oh, I am mentioning the fact that I am disabled... probably just to get likes... LMAO). (Sorry people send you such stupid comments).
I thought your take on those POD gurus was spot on,😂. Overhype for clickbait or they have a course to sell.

I think about the facilities as well myself.. One of the reasons I wanna move away from Bansko, either to a city in Bulgaria, or to Spain/Greece
And, as much as I know life is expensive there... they are actually more expensive for locals here... 350$ a month, is the minimum wage. it's also what it's gonna cost you to rent a 1 bedroom apartment. 350$ is also the cost of heating a home for a month. a lot of times even higher.
It;'s good to live here for us nomads, and expats, bringing salaries and income outside of Bulgaria... But for Bulgarians- life here is super expensive...
it's nice for me to go to a restaurant and get a meal with a friend for 35$, but for a local- that meal is 10% of their income. (but yeah, online income for locals here- is a life changing thing, much faster than in other countries).

@@MeyTribe yeah, you get it! The fact that you also have disabilities is one of the many reasons I follow you. I feel like you can relate to the fact that things don't necessarily work the same way when you need to factor disabilty into the equation of making life choices.

My mom, my daughter and I also have fibromyalgia. You are absolutely correct about the pain. BTW I am 65 and enjoy watching you.
More and more I am seeing how viewers here, and community members on FB, have some kind of chronic thing. I guess I "attracted me" :)
As much as it's hard hearing that this "runs in the family" I wish I had someone with FMS when i was first starting to show symptoms to show me the way, and mostly convince me I am not crazy !!
I had a call with a woman that was recently diagnosed, knowing no one with FMS, and everything I said she felt that, and she started crying cause she was happy that she is not crazy !
As someone that also deals with fibromyalgia and various other health issues, I really value that you talk about your disabilities. It makes you more relatable, and it's a real inspiration to see what you've managed to accomplish despite various setbacks. And yes, I also need to know that clothing is going to be soft and comfortable. I've had multiple bad experiences with POD tshirts where the description claimed that they were "ultra comfortable" or something along those lines and they were so rough and scratchy that I could literally exfoliate my face with them. I ended up having to request refunds everytime that happened and I was granted them, but it sucked that I wasn't able to wear the designs I wanted.
I was also stunned by the question that brought up religion, but I had to laugh as well. Jews absolutely do not try to recruit people into Judaism. That is not something that we do unlike some other religions. And while I absolutely didn't start following you because you're Jewish, I consider knowing that about you to be a bonus, like it makes me feel safe in a way if that makes any sense?
I agree that anyone that has an issue with you talking about your personal life, your religion, and your health, they can go watch someone else.
I loved this video Meg! Jk. I know your name is Mey. Maybe it’s a typo cause the g and y are close together on the keyboard 🤷♀️ It’s still weird though the amount of times it happens. I like watching you because I feel you are genuinely honest. I like how you handled some of those hate questions/comments. I probably would have held up a sign that says “F**k Off”! I really don’t understand people there’s no reason to be so nasty. Believe me Mey… there’s more of us who love you then the number who don’t. Good to know about the age group. I am 52 and watch you. While I do have a lot of experience with listing on platforms and creating ecommerce sites since I am a retired VA, I need help with the marketing and selling and putting together winning designs. I really enjoy your channel because you are always very clear and so easy to follow along with in your tutorials and explanations. At my age, trying to find income streams we can do from home becomes a priority because health issues we never had before suddenly take center stage. You can understand this as well since you suffer from your own health issues. You are a marvel. You do so much considering how much pain you are in. I envy you. I wish I had done more when I was younger and thought I would be healthy forever. I hear you on the anxiety and depression. They can surely suck the life out of you( my experience anyways). Keep going Mey. I am here alongside you(although, in Canada, lol)

I love your personality, the colorfulness of your artwork, and your total honesty about products, services, and the POD journey! I am in the process of opening a Shopify shop for POD. I have had a couple of Etsy shops selling my original handmade jewelry. I've never had that much success doing that but I am excited about trying POD and printables too. I really just want to make enough money to quit my current job and be my own boss!

Have you ever noticed those people never get anything right. Such as your disability. It doesn't surprise me that the comment is anonymous snakes always hide behind something. Nothing she said was humorous as in their acronym (lol) not sure why she thought to write that cause she wasn't even funny, she made herself sound illiterate, heartless and disrespectful. Can you block those nasty Dm's? On another note congratulations on your success. I have been inspired and hooked from the first video I seen of yours. I am trying to start a pod on etsy. Haven't sold anything yet. How long does it take to sell anything on Etsy? Would you recommend selling on etsy. And what is the best thing to sell. I have tee shirts my acrylic pour paint work that I have done. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thank you I am just starting out trying to get my art sold.

I feel your pain on a lot of levels. I too have gotten burnt out on my RUclips channel - before even hitting 1000 subs! I also had a vegan blog that I recently found I can no longer access! It is still there if you are a viewer, but as an admin, I can't get in! UGH!
What do you mean you can't access your own blog ?
Did you talk to the hosting company ??
(The only way i know people not being able to access their blog is if the hosting company gets hacked, which happened to me when Godaddy was hacked almost 3 years ago...)
And yeah, RUclips, and a lot of other creative ways to make money, have a very low success rate, most people burn out before making it. You have to know the exact right niche to enter, and have it fit your life.
I think for me, the burnout was delayed because I went in in good timing, with knowledge of SEO and literally no life - so RUclips was kind of a hobby.
Same with Print on demand all these years ago, came in with low expectations, after years of building blogs... it delays the burnout a bit.
Now, it's very well felt. It's nice (and sad) to have someone identify with the creator's burnout.
But srsly, interested in how you can't access your blog and what the hosting company had to say about it..
@@MeyTribe In regards to not being able to access my WordPress blog, I get a "fatal error" message when I try to log in. My host is SiteGround, and after chatting with their bot and trying all their suggestions, they recommended working with a professional developer. Ugh. The error message has to do with memory capacity, but they said it might be a more complicated issue, since the actions they gave me didn't fix it.
I am very non-techy, but I try!
