Thanks man, I really love your flowing style!
I wanna buy this because of you. ❤️ Aloha from Thailand 🇹🇭
Awesome review! Thanks so much Shane! for another great vid!
Are you sponsored by SpiceSkate? I haven't seen you representing Smoothstar for a while.
I wish I could buy one in UK. They look sooo good!!
They perform awesome as well 💪
Fantastic video, Shane! Amazing flow & style! This is day 4 for me trying to surf skate & now I know why you look so fit! It's hard work & I'm barely moving! My surfing has improved because concrete is way scarier than water! Lost a bit of skin but so much fun!! :)
Yeah mate! That's so good! Keen for you to keep progressing 🤙
@@shanelai2515 Thankyou!! What is best for getting speed on the flat, loosening the front or tightening it? :)
@@nottherealmccoy4955 looser allows for easier speed generation from stationary and general flowy-er cruising
Tighter is harder for speed generation ar first but allows for greater speed and stability
@@shanelai2515 Thanks legend! Surfed this morning, giving the SmoothStar a run this arvo! :)
33" c'est pas trop grand trop lourd pour un type de 1m75cm ??
Any idea when they'll be in stock? I'll be sure to use your link!
No idea.
Thanks Steve!
Amazing! Thanks for the review, love your style ❤️ Do you know if there's a way to buy the trucks separately?
thanks ! I don't think they sell the truck separately at the moment
I just checked their website and this model is sold out. Im from manila so I guess shipping might be an issue. Your vid is great though and thanks for this. I’ll be checking more of you other vids!
Hello Shane, I cannot use the code. Is it still available? Thanks,
Hi. The code is paused during this end of year season.
Hi Shane, how would you compare this with Smoothstar #77 or Johanne Defay? The concave of the deck, the height of the deck with truck from the ground, the weight of both overall setup and lastly the ride feel of both in terms of the difference?
Awesome videos! I would like to see a spiceskate 828 model review since they look cool, but I'm not sure on how practical they are compared to the 830 model
Nice physics!!
4:07 that noise, is that somone pumping a board or is that a dog?
Also, thanks for the review
That's my wife pumping and filming 😌👌 the OG behind the camera
Puro talento bro. 🏄🏽♂️

Hi! What kind of wheels do you recommend? I'm looking for wheels with grip to pump, but also to slide for 180/360s. The wheels that I use now are to soft for sliding, because they are breaking apart on the edges (using the Carver Resin 31).
Hope you can give me some advices!
I always ride stock wheels which most often are 78a or 83a ( too much hassle to change wheels), the softest side of the spectrum and I can slide with them no problem. I like their grip to pull off very tight carves. So, sliding is mostly nailing the technique and timing.
yes carver concave wheels do break easily because of the very sharp lip
@@shanelai2515 thanks man!
Hello! wow what a skateboard !! Your video editing is very good !!
which skateboard you recommend the most? :)
Thanks!!!!
thanks!
depends what kind of riding you are after ?
the cumin is a very good all rounder
@@shanelai2515 Oh cool! thanks for the indication!
Shane, hoping you can help me with a few questions regarding the deck. Can you get me a few measurements? I need to know the width at the tip of the swallow tail. Also the width (rail to rail) taken at the back mount holes of the rear truck. (Full time Barefooter with big feet.... size matters) Also I see that it is a Bamboo/Fiberglass construction. How would you rate the flex, on a scale of 1 to 10? (10 being Super Flexy) Can you tell me how many plys in the build? All Bamboo? Will definetly use your link, once they're back in stock, assuming the width of the tail meets my needs. Thanks for producing, and sharing another great video. Peace.
Tip of tail : 7"
Width at outside bolt of rear truck: almost 9"
No idea about the materials of the deck. No specs out yet. But it's not flexy
Based on their instagram account:
It's bamboo wood with high strength fiber glass
How does it compare to a Carver Shane? Is it easier to pump like Yow?
honestly, I have friends who find pumping on the SpiceSkate much easier; more intuitive.

800 and 830 are same wheelbase?
oh!! i forgot use coupon, sry guy XD
All sold out >__
The design of the board is rad 🤙
I am surprised to see how similar the coil spring is to the Yow System. Does it handle very similar to a Yow surf skate?
Indeed, the cumin is sick !
I have an YOW S5 system, and honestly i prefer the SpicePilot(SpiceSkate's thruster) better
@@shanelai2515 Thank you for the quick response. I also recommend you try out the new Yow Meraki System, in my opinion it is a nice improvement over their previous system. Cheers!
@@shanelai2515 The SpicePilot seems to integrate the torsion/coil spring of the YOW adapter with the geometry of the Waterborne adapter. How does it compare to the Waterborne adapter?
Great Idea to allow for swapping the spring rate btw.
The SpicePilot has a lot of rebound, specially the Master Spring. That gives you lots of speed coming out of a turn and just faster speed generation
@@shanelai2515 Thanks!
How height is the rail riser pad?
on their website they say 25 mm
