This revamp really made him so much better to use, _but in sacrificing his badass old voicelines.._ honestly if they still did kept it, then he would be so much more badass with just an upgraded design

as leomord main, I'm happy that he's got the latest buff cause he's being left behind other fighters .
Although the revamps are good i would still prefer if they kept the original voicelines of neckrokeep. Vexana now is just your typicall queen and leomord is your typical knight. They could also maybe keep the old design or make them look even more sinister.

10:03 as a leomord player before and after the revamp I can most definitely tell that Leo's basic attack in his ult form definitely feels different and a bit odd.

And also in his other skins i feel like his basic attack anf himself looks uncannily bigger. And not like thamuz size grow, like bug like size

When elgin said that leomord's basic attack during mounted state feels a bit off, I agree with him since i played leomord for 3 years and noticed that his basic attack during mounted state is slightly smaller, and the new effects on it dosen't match the range of his basic attacks in mounted state.
Also noticing a really annoying pause when you execute his 3 2 1 1 2 combo, there is a small pause when you are about to do the 1 1 part of the combo, you can't press it too early otherwise it will count as not casting it, too late and you basically missed a huge damage addition to your combo rendering it harder to finish off your target
Also... didn't he use to be able to do basic attacks while moving, regardless of target? The current one makes me fall victim to auto-aim.
And when attacking while not moving, his horse runs at place for no reason.
Buffed Thamuz felt more like a revamped than the revamped Leomord does. A little bit of adjustment wouldn't hurt much for him, Thamuz was already meta then they made him even more meta with his _buff_ revamp.
A revamp isnt just a buff. A revamp is a full makeover including adjustment, remodeling, and retelling the story. A revamp isnt mecessarily have to be a buff. Thamus is specifically a big buff, and leomord is a revamp that has a slight buff. Not meta makibg buff but more playable buff. Vexana and faramis has a adjustment instead of a buff or nerf.
Just take it with a grain of salt, and just remember not all buffs are equal in result
It was just Leomord's skin that got revamped though unlike Thamuz where his 1st skill got a new thing and changed his passive.

As a kagura player it was so saddening and a disgrace to call her "revamp" a revamp. All that changed was that her ult was casted a bit faster and the visual line disappeared. Nothing else.
Thamuz is meta before his buff???? I've never seen him in any rank matches tho
I'm not a Leomord main, but I do like this revamp. The adjustments gives him more of a standing chance against popular picks compared to his old one.
I think after the new emblem system arrives he will even be able to stand against tanky heroes,I mean he's perfectly balanced he just needs a way to deal with tank heroes without losing his ability to kill squishy heroes.

He actually can compete pretty well against the tank meta and one on one. Give him bloodlust or DHS and hunter strike or war axe and everything else a tank item and you've got yourself a bruiser. Tannky enough to frontline, enough damage to burst the backline.

@@randompersonb5320 I'd describe it more as a better Karina. A lot of people love going full tank at everything but they don't realize it isn't going to make it the best strategy.
People don't seem to realize that having 1 or 2 damage items won't affect your tankiness much, and it'll give you enough damage to trade when it comes to dueling and contributions to teamfights other than frontlining.
That's also why I build my Gusion with any defensive boots, Clock of Destiny and Athena or Dominance Ice. I just make up for the lack of damage using Impure Rage since it acts like a single target Lightning Truncheon.
Hell nah he is still the same. All they did is boost his stats and make him wonky. He is useless in high elo

@@allterran7093 it doesn't need explaining at all. Nothing has changed. Infact the old Leomord was better. He is still the same the only good thing is the critical increase but the rest is the same
I wish there was an option which allowed us to use the previous voice lines just like the language packages... There are many heroes who had better voices before their revamps...
Came here after 2 months as i am a leo main and after getting used to it i find his new voicelines much better and smoother than the old voicelines, you're just not used to it.
The only problem to Leomord was his Ultimate has very Slow animation Enemies can dodge it especially Assassins...maybe Moontoon just make it faster
Elgin your item choice was very.... interesting....for this tank meta. The heroes u highlighted all build tank but you built damage.
Leo is really good with only bloodlust and the rest are tank items
Basically, moonton messed up the items. Tank items provide more sustain than attack items can damage them. So if you look at like a scale than defense items are very defensive (10 out of 10) while attack items are only decently attackish (7 out of 10). So if you have a hero than can gain damage from their passive than building tank is OP. Leo's passive means anyone with half life or less is dead meat.
BROO IMMM SOOO GLAADD YOU NOTICEDD. I face the same problem with Leomord's basic attacks in his ult form. ITS SUPER BUGGY. Idk but he can't move and attack at the same time and it always locks surrounding targets which u don't want to attack like minions and jungle creeps/full ho enemies. I changed my control settings multiple times thinking that was the problem but I still couldn't fix it.
I would recommend building more penetration items. Like hunter strike and malefic roar with blade of heptaseas, endless battle, brute force breast plate
I HAVE ONE SUGGESTION FOR BUFF LEOMORD...I WANT LEOMORD SKILLS CAN ACTIVE HIS PASSIVE TOO.(35% max hp+guaranteed critical)
AS LEOMORD IS A SKILL BASED HERO,HE SHOULD ACTIVATE HIS PASSIVE BY USING HIS SKILLS TOO.NOT ONLY BASIC ATTACKS .He could be in meta or high pick rate hero..HIS ULTIMATE FORM BASIC ATTACK IS SLIGHTLY SHORT BUT IT CAN BE ADJUSTED IF LEO IS BUFFED AS I SAID BEFORE...(I'm afraid forever ban😃)

I always use Tank Leomord before the revamp because he was so unplayable in the Exp lane / Jungle. But now he's pretty good with the usual damage build

Or u can use the fighter talent with festival of blood to get leomord spellvamp in the early, and more in the late
Ucan use that talent with 2 attack item and 3 deffense item, it can easily target enemy back lined without worrying being killed first
Elgin can you do harley again (the forgotten mage) every of the hero is raising but harley is not been in the meta for a longest time
With the nerf of Athena and Radiant, I think he'll be picked more often now.
I think mid lane faramis to be partnered with leomord is quite deadly especially the roam angela i say thats a quite horse power 😂😂😂 also i do feel something weird about leomord but not with his ult form, i always feel like hes basic attack on his normal form is way slower and his 1st skill with a huge dmg because i am used to old leomord where u just spam skill whenever u want with no big dmg and also i think hes a bit tanky compared to old one.

Honestly evey hero they adjust will become obsolete when the enemy has a tank meta abuser. Sure there's heros that can melt tanks but most of them are mm which replys on basic atk SPD and guess what? It only takes one tap to counter the entire heros kit. Vengeance spell.

His ultimate basic attack is kinda weird to me too its like he attacks so slow and his range is too small it just doesnt feel right to me

Yes sir. Also feel the same. Since i also using leomord in classic and rank. When he's in ultimate form,its seems like the damage is not that strong and the basic attack is too slow. Making the enemy can counter attck you already. That's the odd thing you felt also sir. ❤️❤️❤️
Leomord is very SS dependent hero that’s his downside. Got 70.1% winrate of this guy.
Other is that leo depends on enemies mostly being squishy, in the current meta + dumb player who don't pick tough heroes, that's fairly low.

I really wish mooton will atleast increse the movement speed abit when leo ativate his ult because horse suppose to be fast and leo horse feels like am still walking in a normal speed like any other hero. But I think the revamp is still great and am starting to see players use him now.
Tbh the majority of the old voice lines are better than their newer counterparts. So many iconic lines gone, Leo's aforementioned line, Gusion's "Break the limit", etc. The general feel of the characters as a whole, is dying.
Edit: Just a visual update is enough, although i liked Leo's look before.
I am a top player and my highest rank is 2.5k mythical glory but currently mythic 3.. and yeah leomord revamp is good, better than any previous meta heroes as a jungler.. and yup he wins in a 1v1 fight against thamuz, akai and karina,, in short he is broken.. i constantly use leomord for jungling this days in 5 men rank, so this what i know.., he's passive is just something else

Why is it called revamp? nothing has except dmg buff n 1st skill on ult animation change. So wouldn't it be called a standard buff 😑
I've recently just tried the leomord and angela combo....the only different is our jungler leo is tank build not assasin builld😅🤣
I think we will see Leomord in MPL S10 being picked as a jungler against assassins like Lancelot. He's a good counter for those.
Leo has a lot of combo if you time it right. Use 1st, 3rd,2nd then use 2nd again to push back enemies to towers or walls to use his 1st skill to trigger a faster skill cast HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well its a mixed bag. On one hand his gameplay feels way smoother. On the other hand, they butchered his character, where is my depressed edgelord? They pulled off another Zilong when they act out of character.
I can make some tanks suffer using my own item build... That build was made for frontal clashes which is my playstyle. The only thing that can counter it was CCs and my own foolishness lol
Didn't play Leo yet. But last match as gord vs him was really a bit hard. He has kind of very long range in ult. That's why you feel a bit odd I think.
Actually leo can compete with tanky heros you just need use a proper items to counter the enemies. Leo can even 1v5 his spell vamp is good if you know how to utilize it that's all I'm so greatfull that leo got buff after how many yrs.

Ngl i love what they did with Leo, my only issue is his skins, they need a revamp and probably sa little stun if the enemy gets run over by his ult. I mean it seems logical you get hit by a horse you get stunned👀. Maybe then he'll actually be in the meta, and maybe if thats too OP then lower his lifesteal again. But again its moonton they'll mess it up someway.
He relies too much on his teams success too which is not good for a jungler
It's actually my first time playing Leomord bacause of his revamp and so far he's ok but i'd not play him in actual ranked games still😅
The problem with leomord even before revamp is having a playstyle that charges at the enemies. There's no one that can support his playstyle aside from angela that can support him while on ult. Early to mid game is alright and still doing his thing but late game, its almost always impossible for him to charge at the enemies because of his playstyle and items you can get as time ticks ingame. Leomord js hard to play especially if you don't have a tank, at late game you will be forced to sell all your items and buy tank items instead. I don't know if its really his playstyle or my teammates just keeps on hiding on the bush away from teamfight

I used leomord as jungler and enemy thamuz as jungler, seems like thamuz has met his match when it comes to out damaging using bulk and lifesteal, leomord has thamuz beat.
Anyone else aggravated with gords changes? The whole input lag that happens when you 1 and 2 is awful.

Bruh Moonton literally ruined the 3 Necro Leo and Vexana are already perfect as well as their voicelines they made it so terrible and like Vexana looks like a Pharsa rip off.
If you use GS and DHS on Leomord, he'll still be able to crit with his passive

Compared to old Leomord who suffers alot, this new Leomord has become more heroic and have reasons to live instead of being edgy and suicidal.

Because of his ulit 2nd skill stun, it has low cd
Elgin cd reduction item greatly affected leomord's ultimate because it had a shorter cool down after ultimate
Leo main here with 1k matches with 61% wr before the update leo was shit as fuck i main him but i only used him like 3 times last season but after the update wow i was really motivated to use it again hahahahahhaa i use vengeance as a spell with it's effects and my ultimate it really helps to tank damage u can flick or jg but jg leo is shit if your teammates is shit thats just for me not really that much of an expert in that kind of stuff

10:10 about the mounted states attack, his attack animation is just so odd if you compared to Irithel. I don't know if it is cause by he is melee attacker, because you could feel like he is drop a beat when you spam basic attack in mounted states.
leomord would be better if his ult duration increased by 2 or 1.5 sec every his ultimate lvl up

10:09 that angela ult is so wrong (saying this as an angela user) because knowing that theres a lot of enemy around the tank and the tank is really low, she should've wait for her other teammate to attack and use her ult on her teammate. Her ultimate will be cancel because she didnt successfully teleport to the tank and her ult will be on cd so she cant use it at that teamfight:>

Leomord is annoying. As a mage main user I get annoyed dealing with him because he has no magic defense yet his so tough to the point where I can only scratch him. So I start banning him when I got the chance.
His basic attack while in mounted state needs improvement though
