Boring? Boring? Are you serious? That is the last word anyone could attach to you. I was sooo thrilled to see you early in the morning in Texas. I quickly grabbed my shawl to work on and a cup of coffee. This shawl requires bobbles across the width. I thought to myself that this would be a perfect time to do some while watching and listening to you. NOPE! So then It switched to ribbing on a sweater. NOPE! I finally just settled in and enjoyed the inspiration you bring with each project. I wonder if your Mom wouldn’t love the “grandma’s shawl”. At 83 I love something to wrap around my shoulders much like a big hug from my daughter that lives miles away. Think about it. It truly reflects you.

Bobbles across the width ... you are one brave woman :) Regarding the shawl for my mom, she already has one that I wove for her and uses during the winter mornings. Both her and my dad also have my handwoven blankets ❤️

Just gorgeous! I started your Garter Shawl/wrap yesterday and of course my husband asked me to crochet him some toppers for his dresser and night stands. Consider ‘dry eye’ and a speck of fibre dust irritating it: using lubricant moisturizing eye drops regularly may help both to soothe and prevent. Those are beautiful felted baskets; If I didn’t already have so many handcrafted project bags and baskets I’d be looking for some of those. 😂 I don’t have mess in my place; I have clutter but it’s all organized. You inspire me ❤. Never ever boring. Have good news. I bought a 32” rigid heddle loom from Ashford!!! It’s put together. Now what should I do first? Something easy. What for warp? You’re the reason I wanted it 😀

Oh that is such good news, congratulations. Ashford has good tutorial for warping rigid heddle looms (here on youtube). I do plain weave. My first warp was "interesting".... I made mistakes but got a hang of it by the next time. Enjoy ❤️

Hey Ivana! I love seeing your projects. Never worry about being boring! What's working from a cone like? Have you ever paired Drops Nord with cobweb before? After seeing your socks, it has inspired me to make my own. I'm making mine toe up with Drops Nord in Pearl Grey. Have a lovely weekend! ☺

Hi, I don't think I've paire Drops Nord with cobweb but I think it would create a beautiful DK yarn. Also, I love working from cones, no ends to connect and so satisfying when I finish one :) ❤️

Like you, having too many WIPs preys on my mind. I really don’t like having more than three on the go. One of which will always be socks. But by the way, in my opinion, blankets don’t really count as WIPs 😅That’s a category all on its own. I love the way the mohair has created the stripes, that’s the fun of mixing yarns. I have a question about your socks and the yarns you knit them in. (You don’t have to answer here, maybe in one of your videos) I was wondering how your son washes his socks (being in the army) only that I feel that those yarns would need careful handwashing. Maybe you have him well trained! Usually when I knit socks for men, I use commercial sock yarns (Opal/Regia) because I know they will be machine washed and not particularly well cared for. Just wondering… ❤
PS - maybe if you cast on your triangle shawl with the wide part, then you would be decreasing after that. You might enjoy that better.

My son has completed his national service, but while he was there I would wash his socks on his days off. Superwash is great for gifts but I somehow still use non superwash and just give instructions to whoever the gift is for. ❤️
