I love the argyle pattern, it would look good on socks but could also make nive mitts. If the yarn felts a bit then the floats won't be a problem. Maybe you could turn the fabric and poke the floats with a needle felting tool. I like the mosaic pattern looking forward to see it completed.

It‘s an annoying bug going round with tiredness and coughing - take care of yourself! I‘m always interested that you use Drops, as I find them to be a great deal and use them a lot myself, mainly the many non-superwash types (though I really like Karisma, which doesn‘t feel like superwash at all!). While Nord is very soft, it felts too easily for me to use it as a sock yarn. My go-to for a thinner yarn is Flora, which I really like, and it washes well on a wool program in the machine, too, so is a bit more robust than Nord and no manmade fibres. I tend to prefer commercial sock yarns as they withstand normal washing and even the tumble dryer! I wondered how you feel about Sky longer term; I have used Air a few times but dislike knitting it and find the result too floppy with no body and it felts easily in use, and I think Sky is just a thinner version? I prefer a yarn with a bit more substance and longevity. The only other yarn I find good value for money is Holst supersoft and coast, which I buy on cones and find very versatile - plus so many gorgeous colours! As I don‘t watch any North American podcasts Rhinebeck hasn‘t been a thing for me, so I‘ve really enjoyed your vlogtober, thankyou for all the effort you put into it!

I hope you feel better soon❤😊 I like how your sock tubes turned out after blocking! I only knit one mosaic knit, a pair of socks. I would knit another pair of mosaic socks if I find a pattern. I’ve been knitting for over 50 years and the only thing I’ve ever thrown out, including the needles, was a pair of argyle socks! I hated that pattern. Of course I was much younger then and I did go back and pick out the needles. 😂

Hello Ivana! Those papayas are HUGE. It is really nice to see your life in these Vlogs. We are 9KM away but so much in common. I find it disheartening when I go through a rough patch with ALL the knitting projects - ugh - and for me it seems to go in spurts. At the moment my projects are ok (touch wood) but I need a comfort knit for times when I am so frustrated! Now I can turn to my spinning. I'll bet dinner was delicious. Bye for now :)

The papayas are huge!!! I’ve never seen how they grow. Oh!….ive been knitting large squares using leftover wool to make a blanket. Should I block the individual squares first before sewing together? Thanks for nice visit♥️🐇

Love your papaya tree, Ivana. Have you tried making green papaya salad? You might enjoy it. Frog away...no use keeping a project for the sake of it.The yarn will bring much more joy in another project. I use the blocking boards for knitted and crochet squares. Would you consider an I-cord cast-off for the body edge of your jumper? If you do, work a purl round first, then do a 3 or even 2 stitch I-cord. The purl round keeps the edge from flipping up.

I know this is a month late. I LOVE the spinning content. I am a spinner from the northeastern United States. In the state of Pennsylvania. I spun the yarn from a Tunis fleece that I bought from a 4-H boy. I also spun some alpaca and knitted the Siksik sweater from the petite knitter( look it up it has squirrels acorns and leaves in it). I got Best of show at our county fair. Keep on spinning and showing it to us. Sorry I’m late. Just now catching up on your vlogtober. ❤❤
