I picked all 3 of these 1st Editions - Thresh, Zed & Wukong for 5$ CAD each at Dollarama. I too will be adding them to my McFarlane Figures but I collect McFarlane NHL Figures primarily and have a lot of NFL figures and a few MLB's as well.
Just got this bad boy at Game Stop today. Just like you I had no idea what League of Legends is about. I buy figures for their stand alone appeal. This one ticked off all the boxes. And at $24 Canadian it was a no brainer. Yes you are right, a little monochromatic...black on black on black...but that just keeps the cost down. I plan to give mine a subtle grey wash and that should pull out some of the great details. Loved your presentation. Thanks. Liked and subscribed.
@@omegashenron8 Yeah Twistaz...I know, but Dollarama doesn't stock figures like this on a consistent basis. They are a clearing house for stock liquidated by other businesses. If you want mac and cheese or canned pasta...yeah they got that all the time. But action figures are hit and miss. Hell...a friend of mine found a Neca Predator and those go for $60 + here in Canada for $10 and change at Dollar Tree. It's the thrill of the hunt Dude. Keep on keeping on.
I don't even play League Of Legends.. i bought it only because it looks freakingly good ! Posability is also great. Paid 25$ and he's now my favorite collectible. Excellent figure. Thanks for the review.
