Another excellent video, thanks for making these!
You mentioned the air volume in the cabin could determine the speaker box air volume; do you have internal air volume for a Volvo XC 40? Such that, would I need to go with a smaller, nominal or larger speaker box volume?
In a medium size vehicle spec volume should provide the best balance of bass. If it were a compact vehicle you could typically go about 10 percent larger and up to 10 percent smaller in a very large vehicle.
Has anyone from JL ever does a SPL test to see what one of the tw1 meters? Or can you take a guess and give me a ballpark if it’s never been metered?
Please make a TEAM JL 5000WRMS 21" sub thanks!
Why did JL Audio not put a TW5 or TW3 in Jeep JL Stealth enclosures? Plenty of room??? Can you use a TW5 or TW3 in SB-J-JL4DPAS/10TW1-4 enclosure...if you were to use a ring attached to front of enclosure to increase enclosure area?
This may be a questions better suited for our tech team. Feel free to reach out to them here: jlaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Im assuming it's because of air space. TW1s require less airspace than the tw3 and tw5
Those the 10 in T 1 sounds the same as 10 w3 at 300 Watt rms?????
Thanks for the question. that answer may be a bit more involved. You can contact our support team at 954-443-1100 or submit a support request via our help center; jlaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
