ok here is my question... i have a main router, a mi extender, and a mi camera... in case of power loss, camera reconnects to main router...
worked it around like: router -> range extender (disable roaming), connected to extender, connected the camera to extender, hide the range extender...
now my question... does this router works like this:
main router -> range extender -> camera
from the main router if i kick the mac adress of the camera, it should connect to the extender in roaming mode... is this right?

just bought the same one(not giga) and saaadly it is 100Mb limited (ethernet cable).. have you tried this giga under ethernet? Does it give more than 100Mbps??? (i have 300mbps btw from a wall)

Yes it can be set as wireless extender
But how do i make a wifi extender without attaching the lan cable
@@bringiton4227 login to xiaomi UI page and in the operation mode, choose wireless extender, next it will scan your existing wifi ssid and click connect with the right wifi password. Personally i would recommend to choose wired extender compare to wireless extender tho.

go to Settings > Network Settings and at the bottom, you can see switch mode. click that and you will see options. I think that is what you're looking for

Hello, pwede po ba nitong malimit yun bandwidth or speed limit ng mga devices na nakakabit sa wifi mo? Pasensya na di ako techy, yun converge kasi sabi kailangan daw ng external router, so if bumili ako nito, irereplace ko ba yung existing router ko nitong xiaomi na router?
Nope.. hinde mo ireplace, yun LAN cable ay iconnect mo sa WAN port ng current modem/router mo sa WAN port ng Xiaomi router..

i do everything the same but when i open browser it doesn't load and it says speed is like 0.08 kb
just acquire a new router like this, unfortunately after the router set up when we connect the LAN there is no light indication and even not connecting to Ethernet. :(

How many channels in 5Ghz band? If it has 49 or 58 channel 5Ghz will not shown in many phone

it has "Smart QoS bandwidth allocation" from Advanced tab, but IT IS NOT WORKING. try it yourself.. limit the speed and try to do a speed test. if it works, maybe it's the firmware version, let us know yours. mine is Mi Router 4A(R4AC) MiWiFi Stable 3.0.5

Hi, kindly make sure if the device you are using for setup does support 5G network connection. After setup, you can also access the device settings through browser setup (see 3:27) and enable the 5G WiFi Switch in "Settings". Check also for device update.

@@tahmidkaiom3185 the reason why it wont work because the xiaomi router only broadcast 5G channel of 36 40 44 48 where these four channels is not regulated in your country/region. I have the same issue too, my country regulation for 5G channel is 149 - 161, therrfore my phone cant detect the 5G ssid even though it is already enabled. I have sent it back to the seller tho

I did as directed by you, but it doesn't connect to internet, even after typing the user name and password through which i am already using my Mi3c router.
