Upgrading my Fold 5, buying the Sweet orange Ultra watch, & the new buds 3 pro... kinda irritated that they didn't have a new tab S10 ultra... that is what I wanted the most!
For those of you complaining about the event, what were you actually expecting?
Something akin to the Honor Magic V2 hardware. You know, from A YEAR AGO
@@madrat5176 Thank you for actually having an answer. So many times on videos like this, people are just complaining just to complain. Like you said, the Honor Magic V2 is from last year. So even if Samsung were to have brought out something more akin to it, would it really be all that exciting? What could Samsung do that could actually be done that would truly get people hyped to spend money on a folding phone instead of what would be a pretty awesome laptop.

@@jeffreydurham2566 The Honor Magic V2 has the best hardware of any foldable today. Incredibly thin and light with the perfect aspect ratio. That’s all Samsung had to do was replicate that

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.

I don't give a f... about health devices but 400 for a thing that can't even be used alone, not to talk about the 1000+ price tag on two unfinished devices (foldables aren't finished until they get rid of the crease)

With what exactly? Don’t say the fold because every company is doing it and coming out with one if they haven’t yet.
To this day, not a single Z Fold phone makes people say:
"THIS is what the 1st gen Galaxy Fold should have been."
The foldable display durability doesn't worry me. The $1,900 price isn't the problem. It's what you DON'T GET for that price that's the problem. Garbage aspect ratios on both the external and internal displays, smaller battery, weaker cameras, etc. 👎

Frist of all three Apple stooges taking a dump on Samsung presentation is so original. I mean we all would rather see a 55 year old man doing parkour like Craig Federighi does during the Apple Developer conference. 🙄. Lastly lets not forget
Abrar was a Samsung Galaxy user for many years until her Apple friends bullied her about green bubbles and so she switched to Apple.
As a Samsung loyalist I think it was meh. They gave Galaxy watch 7 about 30 seconds of air time and focused on the Ultra allot more. I get that it's a new product but they gave me no reason to upgrade to the watch 7. And the ultra does look somewhat like the Apple Watch Ultra but they gave it a round face which they like to do in their watch series but they wasted so much space with making it a round face on a square background. I get if they did it would look exactly like the Apple Ultra but I mean either make the whole thing round or make the face square.
As for the fold and flip. Maybe I'm just an old Gen X'er but why do we need foldable phones in 2024? I had a fold for about 6 months until the next Galaxy S series came out and couldn't stand the fold at all. The camera was awful at the time and unfortunately still is compared to the S series or even iPhone and the size of it was just too big. I got it because I thought gaming or using it for work would make my life easier but it was just too much of a hassle. And the flip has to be one of the least selling phone in the line up. Again the camera is not all the good and it's so small that using it outside of making calls seems useless.
The ear buds 😬. Yes they do have a stem like the Air Pods but they look low cost knockoff ear buds you get off of Amazon. I used to get their ear buds every year but ever since I got the Bose QC Ultra earbuds I just can't go with anything else. Even Apple.
Lastly the ring. Like other reviewers have said they didn't spend a lot of time on telling us about it. Just a little over 2 minutes to talk about a new product that many of us have been looking forward to. I will probably purchase one just because I was holding off getting the Oura for the new Samsung Ring announcement in January.
Sad that Samsung has been surpassed by honor and xiaomi

I was hoping I would be convinced to go Fold 6 from my iPhone. Not going to happen now. Going to wait for the iPhone 16 Pro Max/ Ultra or whatever is next there.

@@enginerunsable yeah all smart rings are like $300ish, used to wear them, but found I never bothered to look at the data lol so I was just wearing a plain looking ring, so went back to wearing nicer looking non-smart rings
