The unit featured is very upgraded and doesn’t reflect most units for sale today. So if you’re expecting others to be as nice as that one, you’ll be disappointed. One thing not mentioned is there are lots of activities and clubs to join, if you’re looking for socializing. Also, the HOA is much lower than Laguna Woods. The main issue though is do you want to live in a community that is restricted by age? The only young people you’ll see will be relatives or friends just visiting. Maybe that’s okay. Maybe not.
Some of the pictures are not from LW Seal Beach. Over 10,000 residents. I think almost 11,000 now. The unit shown is not the average. This is a full gut and remodel.
I think most people know that... The #1 Selling point that Leisure World has which other Retirement Villages and Communities DON'T are - 1) Space (away from each other, not in 1 main building and Co-Op Ownership of the Home) and Freedom; and 2) Sense of being in a Small City without the actual Dangers of one (Security). The HOA and (whole bunch of other Costs, Requirements, etc) are what I wish they addressed in this Vid tho... It's a Dream, but at a Cost.
Most of the video shows Laguna Woods Village (formerly Leisure World Laguna Hills).

My Assessment is cheaer than rent. An assessment is like an HOA.
Leisure World, where the geezers roam
I’m guessing you know some residents there?

Wonderful video madam I am from Pakistan and like you so much
A city within a city!… sounds wonderful., must be very expensive to live there now days.
I was pleasantly surprised when I toured the community. Prices range between 300k-700k+ depending on the size and type of condo floor plan.
It is expensive. Too expensive for what it is.
@@JigsawPuzzleConnection What you're really saying is that it's too expensive for YOU!
Some are going for $700,000. For an attached place with no garage. Nuts.
