- Hello friends, welcome back to another day of slow living here in the beautiful Portuguese countryside! Today's video is packed with some of my favourite things-starting with a fun trip to the local flea market where we go treasure hunting for unique finds. I love the charm and character of these markets, and I can't wait to show you what I picked up!
Once we return from our market adventure, it's time to head back to the kitchen and do a little baking. Today, I'm whipping up something special: a delicious cake made with apples I picked fresh from our trees. There's something so satisfying about baking with ingredients grown here on the homestead. The smell of warm, spiced apples filling the house is pure autumn bliss!
We'll also spend some time in the garden, tending to the plants and preparing for the upcoming season. Gardening is such a grounding activity, and I love how each day offers something new. From watering hydrangeas to planning our next garden project, the joy of nurturing our own space is endless. Even in the cooler months, there's always something to do, whether it's planning new plantings or simply enjoying the beauty of nature as it shifts from summer to fall.
One of the things I love most about living on the Silver Coast of Portugal is the slower pace of life and the chance to really connect with the land. Every day is a new opportunity to appreciate the little things-whether it's wandering through the farmer's market, harvesting from our own garden, or just taking a quiet moment to enjoy the peaceful countryside. Life here is all about savouring the present, and I hope that through these videos, you can feel a bit of that too.
If you're new here, welcome! And to all my returning friends, thank you so much for continuing to follow along on this journey. Your support means the world to me, and I love hearing from you in the comments-let me know what you enjoyed most today, and if you have any questions or suggestions for future videos!
Don't forget to subscribe if you haven't already, so you never miss out on our weekly adventures. We've got so many more exciting projects, recipes, and daily moments to share as we continue this slow-living journey here in Portugal. Thank you again for being part of this community-I can't wait to see you in the next video!

Your video has popped up in my recommendation list and i truly enjoyed it. So you've got yourself a new subscriber. Loved the atmosphere you're creating.❤ The local produce is amazing by color and sight. I guess the taste also matches😊.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment it means a lot to me. Please let me know what you enjoy. I appreciate all the feedback. :)
@@SilverCoastDiariesSorry about the delay with my answer. So, to answer your question, for me it is mostly the pace of your videos - the right one for my comprehension, not too slow, yet not too abrupt in changes of the scenes. ASMR parts are precious❤. The right amount of the subtitles, so I don't have to focus on reading instead of enjoying the lovely visual images you offer. So for me your videos have the right amount of everything which is a rare find among all the vast amount RUclips offers. I wish you inspiration and joy on your RUclips path😊❤
Thank you so much for your lovely comment it really means a lot 🥰 I am glad you are enjoying the videos. I'd love to hear more feedback on future videos.
It's so important to cherish your daily life! That makes up most of our days, so it's necessary to feel comfortable being with oneself and to care for one's own good. Very nice vlog, I'd love to see more of the positive selfcare!
Thank you! It really is, and I'm constantly working on it. Watch out for the next video that's coming out on Wednesday with more self-care.
