Best buy ever and very used bag. I did apply apple guard on the vachetta part then put a twilly on it for extra protection. Every couple of months, I also do clean and apply collonil leather protector to ensure the longevity of the bag.
I love the zip - perfect for your phone. I’ll stick my phone with case and battery pack in there and have never worried about impairing “the integrity of the bag”. Nothing is going to happen to it. I’m a mum.. and someone whose lived a while. Opening flaps is not difficult for me and many zipper bags need two hands anyway to get the zipper open. I don’t find that I sit around “opening and closing it and opening and closing it”. I open it when I need something from it and I’m still so surprised that you find opening a flap frustrating to the point that you don’t have patience for it? I love the compartments. I don’t think it’s a matter of compartments looking good - it’s that they are useful for separating and organising your items. I’d say the main con for this bag is that it’s slightly on the heavy side for a canvas bag but only very slightly. I got a thicker strap for it at one point and that helped when I was carrying a lot around in it and it was at its heaviest. The one other con is that you can chunk this bag up a lot - it holds a lot (not a con) - and at its fullest it stops looking particularly elegant.
I saved up money for a few months to buy a LV, but it got scratched on the third day. I cried so much, and then my boyfriend bought me a bag from *amzrepe* for me to carry alternately. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, so as long as others can't see it, I think it's fine. The thought is there.

The back zipper is a great compartment for iPhone, not sure what you want to put in there? Definitely not a con to me
