Unbelievable how cold people are towards animals. They never see the sadness these animals go through.

Gosh...I watched on Fb, commented and cried. I cannot even imagine, how people can do such things! A woman from the Netherlands fell in love with him, she wanted to adopt this beautiful doggie, which she expressed in comments. I do hope, Max will find the way to his real home soon.

What a fascinating story about a very loyal and intelligent dog!
In the US, citizen volunteers train to become part of search and rescue teams along with their dogs. This volunteer work must be going on in European countries, as well. So this dog would be a perfect match for someone interested in doing volunteer search and rescue. He clearly has the talent-- he tracked the family for miles, back to their home!
He also taught the family an important lesson about loyalty. So I am happy to learn that they have now regret abandoning him and are trying to do better by seeking help from Takis.

Ahí muchos pobres , gentes de la calle que comparte todo con sus peluditos , y que no los vendería, no lo abandonarían por nada del mundo .
Los que abandonan a sus perros , gatos , niños , y mayores , son unos irresponsables , sin alma , ni corazón , que no se quieren ni ellos mismo , son unos zombie .

After his owner had abandoned him in the city, the dog found the way back to the house. My goodness, that's a really smart dog! There's nothing positive to say about the owner, only that he doesn't deserve this dog. Never bring a dog into your life if you don't plan to live with and take care of the dog for the rest of his or her life. Thank you to Takis for his kindness. This smart and beautiful pup deserves love and respect.

One day I'll come to your shelter. You're the best person I know, since I watch your videos I say it to myself everyday, I want to become just like you. I'm a veterinary nurse from France, almost with my diploma. I plan to enter veterinary studies. If I can't, no problem, I will create my own shelter anyway. It has always been my biggest dream, and it will always be.

I believe some people want 'toys'!!! When they no longer want the animal (toy), they throw it away and move onto another 'toy', hopefully a mechanical/ factory made.
He is so beautiful! I wish I could adopt him! I live too far away. USA. I just adopted a dog that is part German Shepherd and they could be brothers! 😊

Dogs teach us to be better humans
Once when I was little my family was about to leave for a drive-in movie. A German Shepherd came up to us which was a rare site in the neighborhood. I told him to sit and he immediately sat. We left, saw a movie, had dinner and came back at least 4 hours later. He was in the EXACT spot he sat in, in the exact posture. He was such a good boy, he obviously wanted to please me and felt he could not move because I told him what to do. I begged my dad to keep him and he refused and did something to get rid of the dog. I'm 55 years old and still wonder what happened to that dog. :( I hope he got the home he deserved and had a good life. To this day, GSD's are my favorite dog

Takis is correct in everything he says, wise words. It is a great shame for the dog, as he has formed an attachment with these people. What they did was wrong but I am thankful they eventually contacted Takis to take this beautiful young dog into the shelter. Hoping, he will find a permanent, loving family that will love him - as most dogs are very loyal & form strong bonds. Good luck woof, your new life starts here.❤❤❤

Very true, people can be very selfish, take a dog or cat as a quick fix , not thinking will I still have this PET in 5 yrs or 10yrs? Till the day the lovely pet crosses over the rainbow 🌈 in other words , take the animal if you envisage keeping him/her FOREVER!
It annoys me people take a pet on a whim, or for there children a cute toy, when it’s a cute puppy, and then there bored of the poor animal, they don’t want to put the effort in , they need to feel a sense of duty towards the animal, it’s a part of the family !

I do not think there was a video about Hector and Leona being adopted. A few adopters who did allow Takis to make adoption videos in the past year received mean, negative and visibly untrue comments. Sometimes hatred pops up in unexpected places. There may be fewer adoption videos as a result. 😢

I am so angry, i cry.
thx for those people to call you. they first helped the dog. they made a mistake but they repented and made everything right. all went well so. of course it is better not to make this mistake. but they had a good heart and guardian angels helped. and then they made everything right. if we only did the same: make everything right after a mistake before things get worse. let us learn not only from takis but also from this family that had the courage and humility and empathy to admit their mistake then turn things to be right. it would make our world so much better not only concerning animals also there could never be a war because things would never escalate that much.

German Sheppards are one of the most loyal dogs. It must be so hard for this dog that the (owner) or the guy who feed him throw him away. But i think it is better to take this beautiful dog to the shelter than the man kick the dog away.

Takis, what should we do if only the kill shelters will take the animals and the no kill shelters in our city is always full and not taking in dogs. I truly can understand that some people, like our home are already stretched and feeding quite a few stays and homeless. So, we can't take more animals in. What can you suggest because there's always more who need help.

I just can't understand this. My family and I have three dogs in our home. One is my childhood dog, he is very old (18ish) and has a lot of health issues because of his age. The youngest was rescued and I gave her a home so that she wouldn't stay in the kennel. The vet was so grateful that he sterilised her for free. Since I was an adult when I got her, she became the first dog that was "mine". My responsibility. My baby. I went to Italy twice and she was depressed while I was there. When I returned, I was afraid she was going to have a heart attack because she was so happy to see me. And my father and my brother remained with her and her brothers while my mother and I were gone. So... she was never alone. Now I am in Paris, I miss her like crazy, halfway through my stay and my father told me she isn't eating or doing much. And, as always, she is still with my father and my brother and her two big brothers. AND THIS IS WHY I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND WHY SOMEONE ABANDONS THEIR DOG. They unconditionally love us the most (only second to the love of parents) and they never falter. If you can't keep it, don't have one. Simple.

I took pity on a stray in 2017, my aim was to provide just food, shelter.
In a short span of time, he demanded more & more...he wanted love, care, company.....I loved Bobby to bits, but I had a big problem finding a good home stay when I had to leave station. He was absolutely miserable in dog cares available in Kerala.
He departed, breaking my heart on Feb 2😔🥺🥺🥺.
But, Pl don't keep pets if you are not able to give 100 % of their needs... your time, money, care, love........
They are heartbroken if abandoned 😢.

Very sad. Indeed animals are loyal. They get attached to you. This is better than being abandoned in the middle of nowhere to starve and get sick and eventually die a cruel way. Let's see what happens.
