I’m always amazed at how much content Simon Whistler channels drop every day. Just watching them can take me upwards of 3-4 hours. I can just imagine how much time he spends recording each day. I’m glad he’s got multiple writers and editors. And a VERY loving and patient wife. Props to Mrs. Whistler! Some days you can tell were recorded the same day. Same outfit, set and beard length. Yesterday, I watched a couple back to back and watched as the level in his cup went down over the course of both. Yet today, he’s got a longer and less tidy beard than yesterday. Thank you Simon for all your hard work. I wish your content were taught in schools on some subjects. Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas 🎄!
Fun fact about Columbus, He had a hard time to get funding for his voyage because everybode knew he used a wrong circumference of earth in his calculations for his supplies and everybody expected him to starve to death before reaching Asia and he would have if he didn't get lucky to find a continent full of people to pillage just before starving.
I've been a sleep walker all my life. It eased off in my early 20s, but several times I have woken up in strange places. One time I woke up, wrapped in my quilt with my dog under the family car to my parents screaming for me. Another time, I woke up in on my bike, in my pyjamas riding around a supermarket parking lot, over 5km from home. The most memorable was when I was on a school camp. We had been hiking down Wallaman Gorge and were going to abseil down a waterfall the next day. Our sleeping bags didn't have zippers in them, so you had to put them on like a sock. I woke up, got out of my 'sleeping sock', put my shoes and socks on and started to pack up camp, packing up my backpack, tying the cooking pots to my pack and generally making a pain of myself, waking everyone else up. Then, I sat down, took my shoes and socks off, put my sleeping sock back on and going back to sleep. All this was less than 100m from the 10M cliff we were going to abseil down the next day.
8:29 In school I read a comic in a text book in geography class. Columbus has just returned to Europe and exclaimed that the Earth was round and everyone turns around and says something along the lines of (Insert photo of Benedict Cumberbatch holding a box of Imodium) I laughed out loud at that.
For the headache thing from MSG, I think that probably came from the fact that soy, specifically the fermented soy found in soy sauce and a lot of Asian foods, is a known migraine trigger. And Soy has a lot of MSG in it naturally. But it isn't the MSG, it is the fermented soy.
I had a French teacher who told us Marie Antoinette said,‘I wish they could eat cake.’ Just an inaccurate translation. I don’t the accuracy of this statement, but the teacher Was French. It was my understanding that this was the common conception.
2. the reason why life expectancy was frequently levelled around 30s or 40s was due to high birth mortalities, Simon and editors. People did generally lived a full life as people do today the only exception is modern medicine has prolonged beyond the normal life expectancy as we should be living naturally.
Yeah, I read a lot of history, and there is a LOT more people who lived until OLD age than I ever imagined. 80. 90. Poor. Maybe because doctors just left them alone? Didn’t bleed them to death? Idk. And this was when the past was the worst. I guess if you lived through not having immunizations and didn’t die from diseases that are so easily prevented now, and got to be an adult….

Hello Simon.
It's regurgitated Simon.
Wait, what? 😅

8:35 so the world isn't a big disc resting on the back of four huge elephants standing on the back of a giant turtle swimming thru space then?
We adore Simon 🎉❤😊
Interesting. I had heard most of these but it was still to have them all together
I need to make a carving of Simon lol the glasses with the beard is so distinctive
Is simon back?!?!?!?!
it was my question too... toptenz should elaborate
I hope so

I laughed out loud at that.
Very interesting video. Thank youSimonandteam! 😊❤❤
Yay! Simon on Top Tenz!!

@@kendradorman6014 No he's not. Keep up with the times.
Yeah, he's not back. This is a compilation of old videos.
@ never
@@kendradorman6014 Then you're doomed to wallow in your ignorance. Enjoy.
@ will do thanks
Hi Simon!😂

I keep thinking the videos over haha. Next time maybe cut the goodbyes out on a compilation video.

Yoga might be strenuous but there is extensive writing on doing postures standing, seated and even with chairs and walls for support. Two answers.

Only the flerfs think the planet isn't round and they have been in the minority for many centuries 😂😂😂
Wow
If you can't eat msg... you also can't have tomatoes

Pure genetic luck.
I choose to continue believing the Spartans were totally BADASS
He is back
@@Balleyer_gooner Nope. These videos are old.
Simon Marie Whistler
I thought it was that witches burnt steak. (They were lousy cooks, apparently.)
When did Simon come back
Hey Simon
Wasn't this a Charlie Sheen thing?
So confused
Perhaps Pandora had a can with worms in it?
Very first, Simon and TopTenz. Thanks Simon 😎
Go ahead and say yoga again. This time WITHOUT adding an R. I'll wait.
I miss Simon 😢
He's the best

Hello all
Simon🤩
👋 hi everyone, 👋
Well, I disagree. If you're 48% water, 10% this, 12% that, and soforth, then you are mostly water.
Using that logic, then you're STILL not mostly water. You're mostly the empty space between adjacent atoms.
@stevejester5658 LOL, yea but then by that logic, so would any physical being talking to the Enterprise.
Another regurgitation.
They can't get Simon back for new material?
@silverknight1966 Nope, he's been off this channel for about 2 years now. Creative differences and all that. You'd think people would catch on. LOL!!!
first
Is this some kind of parody channel or something?
Cringe 😬
@@colinrobinson4233 It's a compilation or regurgitation. Take your pick.
Nobody is making you watch them🤷♀️
