- It’s the age old question, is an impact driver better? Or is a drill better? I’ll do the testing and you can make the decision for what will work better for YOU.

I use the drill a lot more. It’s very versatile because I can put anything that fits in the chuck. Cleaning brushes, sanding disks, bits, drill bits.
Use the impact driver to save your arms; use the drill to save your ears. Arms, ears, you decide! )
Dude wow that’s so true
An ear plug saves both arms and ears. I use a hammer drill most of the time since I use a smaller HO battery. Save my arm from vibration and long-term damage. I only need an impact driver when space is a concern or a little tougher impact is needed. You'll be amazed how much a drill can do even without hammer functions, most RUclips videos geared toward impact drivers a more powerful and neglect the drill for driving nuts or bolts.
The surge is the answer
Now if they can only invent a whisper-quiet impact driver.😆
@@DarianDT A drill with anti-kickback saves both arms and ears as well. But in the real world you are much better owning both tools
Same here. I think its a fascination thing....the idea that something so affordable is trading blows with the big boys is just an amazing thing.
Hercules has improved so well. (Except for their compact lineups 😂 like the other brands) That hammer drill is superb. As for the choice, i say use whatever you find gets the job done by your standards of efficiency and satisfaction. Drill= Speed, clutch and quieter. Driver= Power, compact and louder.
I think they both have there place drill prob more versatile if had to pick
My dcd805 dewalt drill instantly became my favorite… it’s strong and very light for a drill… always hated the noise that the impact driver uses so nowadays I mainly use a screwgun and drill… I still use my impact driver to unscrew small things but the drill is just so versatile
@@carlosf9278 love the 805 as well! Badass little drill
I hate my neighbor so I like the loud one.😁
Lmao good choice
🤣🤣👌
You mean Soalz??🤪
Drill is both faster and more versatile but i generally use the impact because it's just easier. Less weight and torque on my wrist. If I'm doing more than a couple screws, I use earplugs though because they are loud.
The impact is smaller and lighter in the tool bag, and can be stronger. The drill has a clutch, and is less likely to strip out screws or drive them into a work piece.
I have both, but can't debate the clear and objective evidence before our eyes in that the Drill is faster, more efficient. Impact Drivers are best for rare exceptions of driving or removing stubborn bolts. Anything else is just Fanatical Bias.
