I have a feeling that this game is already under-rated.
My understanding is Dutrait doesn't do art for bad games. He actually plays them to make sure it's a game he loves first.
Games I've heard weren't good with art by Dutrait WERE good.
    I'll be buying this one.

12:59 according to the rules, the cards you buy from are all supposed to be face down, so technically you are never supposed to know what’s on any card you are buying.

100% His entire complaint about this point is irrelevant because he is playing the game wrong.

    Hi there.
i personnaly found this game much interesting solo than multiplayers
The main reason is that in solo, you're stealing the ressources you gain from the IA, so you have to be careful and puzzling even more on what you want to try to get as ressources.
So you can try to make the IA NOT buying some lvl 2 or specific monkeys you don't want him to have too much.
The backdraft is that the starting configuration in solo, with the starting 3 tiles at your disposal, and even more the 3 monkeys (and their order from left to right) for the IA are making the game sometimes really hard (like almost impossible) and somtimes easier (like you gain with 20 more points than the IA)
I also remember that configuration that asks me 7 plays to finally win the game. And i think i had quite lucky on that one.
That would be the only grief i have against the game.
All in all, it's a nice puzzly solo experience.
I would love an expansion to pump it up a bit better.
But like i said, i defenalty prefer this game solo, but not much in multiplayer
As alternative on this type and even on the graphical side, i would rather play tribes of the wind instead of after us.
But solo wise, i found this after us quite funny and smooth to play

Awwww. Disappointing. This theme really intrigues me - sad that it is pasted on

    First 😂, but still
Waiting on your take on Mordred 😊. I am thinking not pledging now maybe after your video i will but the just the base game with the unlocked exclusives instead of all in what I usually do.

Thanks for the helpful review. This was on my list to check out. Looks like fun, but a non-keeper, which means a not-buy.

Thanks for the review. I had already preordered it through Pandasaurus and I think it’ll be worth a play through or two. Not sure if it stays though.
