    Nylander is calm like Datsyuk no matter the pressure, look at the way he released the puck at his breakaway and compare that to the way Domi did at his breakaway .... WIllie has some rare mental quality .... never lose his cool

    Joel Edmundson... This mfer might just pull it off again with a new team lolll. Being a Habs fan, Edmundson was a monster for us against the Leafs when the Habs crawled back from 3-1 in the series. Hopefully the Leafs can pull off the comeback. Habs fan rooting for you.

    Excellent ! Another awesome addition to my long weekend here in Japan.
    What would be perfect ? Beside the excellent weather we have now?
    A Canucks win tomorrow ? And then a Leafs win the day after.
    Almost makes painting my house seem like fun. Actually watching the paint was more exciting than an LA Kings game.
    That last five minutes was awesome. 👏

    There was a time when I didn't much like Nylander, but that's changed. The guy is awesome and Woll was fantastic. Lets don't ignore Domi and Bertuzi. They've shown up for the playoffs and I think they're getting under Marchand's skin

    Leafs got rid of the round 1 monkey last year. I was hoping we could shed the Bruins in the playoffs monkey too, but it wasn't looking good until game 5. We actually have a chance and I feel cautiously optimistic.

      @@realrealityeast6278 maybe, but if you were them who would you pass to, to score a goal the guy who got 69 this season or some other guy and when they know who is shooting majority of the time its easy to know and they pass to Matthews aloooot and if he plays a bad game the whole team suffers i do think after these games though maybe they learned they dont need him to score goals and now its not just 1 guy who is a scoring threat its all of them and Matthews being out really helped that by not having “that guy” to fall onto and hope he does it all but leafs been on a role lately so i guess we will see if Matthews can deal with not getting passes to him every single time but im going to be watching the game so i guess we will see then anyways its 2 am and i have yapped on for waaaaay to long lol

    I don’t agree, for sure Willy and Joseph were both huge and great in game six, but what about Burt and Domi? Mathew Knies and JT have erased pasta. How about the Leaf D, there is no point naming one or two, they were all solid shut down monsters. This was a solid team win from top to bottom, not two individuals.

      Without Marner the series is over. He has been relatively quiet as far as points go (who on the Leafs isn't) but he has been rock solid defensively. He's saved us multiple times.

      Steve Dangle praised Marner, calling him spectacular. He knows more about hockey and the Leafs than most people, so I trust that Marner did as good a job as I thought myself. He’s really awesome defensively and actually creates some offense as well.

      Really won't they lose Marner and the whole coaching staff and GM are gone. Not a bad thing they should have been dead game 5 game 6 at best but the Bruins apparently don't care to win either.

    Every single person is blinded by Nylander, ya he scored but besides those two goals he did pretty much nothing both games. Knives is the real unsung hero and the main reason Willy even scored the second one with a great play along the boards to set him up

      I didn’t like the way he started the game but at the end of the day you need someone to put the puck in the net and he did just that. He also backchecked, threw a massive hit, and was the difference maker. Excellent game in all regards. But yes Knies has been brilliant

      You have got to be kidding . Keefe , Knies , Bertusie , Taveres aii said Willie's play was outstanding. They said besides two goals , he was defending , gave a big hit and blocked shots . Online comments about Willie today have been very positive . What game did you watch . Quit your hate Willie Comments .

      @@user-zr5bk1uc1y lmao if you actually watched the games you’d see him pull away from going into corners for pucks, coasting when he’s suppose to be back check and more. I’m a die hard leaf fan but without those two goals. one being a lucky bounce the other a nasty dangle but only had that chance due to the hard work of knives. Besides that he didn’t do much and that one hit everyone’s talking about is just that one solid hit he’s done in two games.
      Edit: obviously all his teammates are going to say he played well because for some aspects he did. But for a lot of other he did not and everything is acting like he wasn’t a ghost before those goals.

      @@matt7352 back check? He coasts back if he doesn’t get the puck after the first stick lift. Also one solid hit over two games with how many times he’s given the puck up due to not wanting to take a hit or get physically doesn’t make up for that.
      I will agree will you when leafs need a goal he seems to find a way. He just also has so many rough edges in his game that people for some reason blindly look away.
