watching your video i just realized oh my god your ultrasonic cleaner has just cleaned my ears . thanks steve . I bought a cleaner about a year ago , and yes they do work great . I found it great for cleaning all manner of things that i found metal detecting , but best of all i found its the best thing ever for cleaning my electric razor . Have yet to try it on sharpening stones . i have tried a few cleaning products in the unit and found that dish washing liquid to be the most cost effective and it does a great job .i noticed someone else made the same comment further down the page . I enjoy watching your videos and find them very informative especially the myford lathe information you give. Its helped me improve my myford ML7 . Keep up the good work
Thanks, Steve it's timely I just had a 10 liter UC M delivered the other day. I waited to get one big enough to put a four-barrel carburetor into and have room for the extra stuff that goes with it. Has heat set from factory to 50C. And has three ultrasonic generators running at 47KHz. Never thought of cleaning stone and probobly grinding wheels with it. Thanks a lot for the tip and video!
Hi Gearge, Thanks...Your one is possibly the same size and specification as what I used when in the aerospace industry. Fantastic machines. I think I will get a larger one at some point. Regards Steve
I have been using an ultrasonic cleaner for about a year, and highly recommend them. I must say the jewelry cleaning has made much heavier demands on it than the shop :) and I don't wear any!
Thanks, Steve. I think I'm going to acquire one of these. I've found your exploration of the goodies available from Banggood to be useful a number of times now. Clyde
Thanks again, Steve for yet another great tip! Word of caution on using nail polish solvents: -Some flavors have oil added, as for (purportedly) not drying out the nails themselves - and I guess you want to stay away of those - and yet some aren't acetone-, but ethyl acetate-based. Have you had any experience in using hot lye solutions in this one? All the best! Johan/DIYSwede, also being an electrician, I just have to caution against the IEC socket taking in 120 VAC [sic!] - an accident waiting to happen...
Hi Johan, Thanks. This one says Acetone, but like you say they do have some additives. It is best to buy pure acetone for welding plus it saves anyone from stealing it from the ladies, which is more important, if you don't want too much trouble..:-)
Thanks for sharing but be careful cleaning glasses, mine started removing the coating on my lenses but otherwise great idea for cleaning tools 😀. Cheers
Great video Steve , I've had a jewellery one of this for quite some time now and never even thought of cleaning tools etc in it , when ordering from bangood or aliexpress is there any import duty or extra charges added on once it comes into the UK?
Ultrasonic cleaners would be excellent at cleaning injectors. If I were you, I would look at the biggest one you can afford on the market. They are not that expensive. Just check out the internal bath measurements on a listing. Regards Steve
Regular solenoid injectors aren't that big I would think that they can fit in the product in the video , direct injection injectors or piezoelectric ones ? Probably not but you shouldn't really clean that type in this thing maybe use a dedicated setup for cleaning DI injectors
Hi Ron this one is a bit small really. You can get larger one's that are not much more to buy. You would need to clean rust off by another method but these cleaners loosen and clear dirt etc from places you can't get to.plus it depends on cleaning solution use as well

I normally use a bit of washing up liquid 😀. Works a treat, just got some Sugar Soap, very impressive as a degreaser, going to try that next. Cheers
I was wondering if I could potentially break a natural stone this way. Arkansas stone specifically, translucent

Were you once a model on sale of the century? That little waft of the hand looks very practiced.
Great stuff Steve, I wonder how long the unit will last, can you get replacement motors for them? Cheers, Doug

Is this any good for cleaning 4 fuel injectors at a time? Will they fit in?

Thanks for taking your time to answer me
I thought I invented cleaning sharpening stones in an ultrasonic cleaner. Oh well. Does work really well.
hello Steve, can you help us to make a vedio like this also please
sounded like you had an ultrasonic jack hammer running .
The sound is amplified because of my small metal shed and the camera microphone!
I wondered if it will clean rusty bike parts like rusty chain etc also oily greasy parts
