Braking bad is a darn good series
    I like it so much
'Better Call Saul' is even better though. I fell in love with it from the firs episode. Bob Odenkirk is both a great director and actor ❤
I had watched both series only last year despite they had been shot many years ago

I really enjoy improving my language skills by reading stories, but I find that listening is more effective. I learned the meaning, usage in a sentence and pronunciation of a word in just one video. The subject of the story is really nice. Thank you for your effort Dylan😊👍🏻🌸

My summer school 7th graders read this short story to talk about mood, tone, figurative language and theme. I asked them your three questions. Question 1: We had most of the students say he was a bad man because he stole things and stealing is illegal. We had a couple of students who said he was a good man because he did not steal from the poor and he stole money from the rich that already had too much and they didn't respect the poor or him as a finger smith. Question 2: The students said that he kept introducing characters and situations that covered up what the hitchhiker was actually doing...stealing. You didn't know all that until the end. Question 3: Most of the students said they would NOT pick up a hitchhiker because of the bad things that could happen, like stealing your car, kidnapping you and your family, killing you. We did have a few student who said they would pick up a hitchhiker because you should be kind to the poor and respect everyone. Thank you for reading this story so we could hear and understand the British accent. We are in Tennessee in the USA.

Btw, I nearly forgot what I came here for:
1- I like to think the hitchhiker is a good person who behaves badly sometimes, doing what he does "for a living" maybe due to not having had the best opportunities in life
2- There r many tricks he makes use of...
Writing from the perspective of one naive 'victim' makes us feel tense and curious at the same time, wanting to know what the ending will be like, and afraid of learning the worst could happen to the main character. His ingenuity in not clearly stating what the hitchhiker actually does for a living, and never revealing HOW he does it in such a slick and mysterious way also keep us entangled in it from beginning to end.
3- Being "as Brazilian as I can be", I wouldn't EVER give a lift to ANYONE, cz here we've learned the hard way that u can't trust strangers. The only advantage I see is that I'd be on the safe side. Disadvantages can be many, like missing out on the opportunity of making new friends and/or helping someone in need.

I don't have a problem with the sound, but sorry, I think the script is too small for my normal eyes. I'm struggling to see it. For me, who wants to learn about pronunciation, I usually listen and read at the same time. But overall, it's amazing. Cheers!
