✓ There is this market stall going by the name " Veg as you Go" serving these gorgeous pure vegetarian wraps in Lower Marsh Market, Waterloo, London.............what makes the wrap such a treat is that they wrap it in a Lebanese flat bread or Saj bread (almost like an Indian style naan bread) & then grill it so it's served piping hot........please be warned that these wraps are absolutely delicious !!!
There is no secret to the recipe & preparation because they make everything in full view of you.
The filling includes: Hummus, Chilli Sauce, freshly cut mixed Salad, Pickled Gherkin, Pickled Turnip (coloured with Beetroot), Grilled Haloumi Cheese (sometimes spelled Halloumi), Onion Rings, freshly made Falafel & Tahini Sauce.
This is Jordanian Street food at it's very best !!!
We reckon that the man who makes the falafel here qualifies as the fastest fried falafel maker in the world.
