If the activation steps do not work as mine did not after running the new app update - DO NOT go to the service department. There is one more troubleshooting to do If you have the option to schedule a turn on engine. Set the schedule for the day you have the app open 10 minutes ahead (it won’t do less than 5 min) If like mine, the scheduled time starts the car it will pair the updated app with full functionality. I called Ford Pass and requested they add this to the troubleshooting since it is the one thing they did not do with me. I almost brought it into Ford to be charged $125 diagnostic for them to look at this issue and who knows what they would have charged if I hadn't asked them questions and realized what needed to be done. Again, if you have an option to schedule do so and it will pair all the other features.
I got nothing. Downloaded the app, made an account, scanned the used 2019 Expedition we bought, but I have none of those options to connect my phone app to the vehicle. Just a blank white screen with the vehiclelisted at the top of my page. Neither could the salesman get it to work. What is the problem in my case?
Sometimes it can take up to 48 hours before that option is available, make sure if you see a pop-up on your vehicles center screen you say yes. If it don't show up it could be that your vehicle doesn't have the necessary equipment for that.

Is this availible on all Fords??? I have a 2015 Mustang and don't have any of the options in my app like you did yours. Two things I'm thinking might be the issue? 1. I have a doorlatch recall that's stil showing uncomplete (it was completed Sept 12. The tech said it would take 30days to reflect in server database). so maybe it's not letting me activate the car because of that? or 2. Do I 'have' to have Sync3? and if so, then why does my MyFord Sync show the FordPass option?
I can see my fuel level and mileage but not locks or remote start in my 2018 F250. I have sync three in the truck. and its an XLT with the 8 inch screen
I just bought a used 2018 F150. I got it to connect and show me the vehicle details like gas tank, oil life. Do I need a wifi subscription to get the remote start and lock/unlock features? Or did I do something wrong setting it up? Thanks.
The wifi subscription is not needed for fordpass. FordPass Connect for 2017/2018 was an optional feature on select vehicles. make sure your vehicle is equipped with the Fordpass or ford Connect and you will need to some time wait up to 48 hour for it to activate and you may need to ok it on your vehicle's touch screen. best way to know is check the window sticker. Used to work fine now it takes forever to load if it loads at all. Lots of bad comments on Google play store. Wish they would fix issue. $63,000 for truck and doesn't work 😤

Yes, you can have up to 10 accounts connected to your FordPass Connect enabled vehicle. A new account can request access, and the primary account user can approve this. Subsequent new account requests can then be approved by authorised accounts (not just by the primary account holder).
We're located in Canada and not sure if this is available in the UK or Europe for that matter. Hopefully someone who knows if the UK or Europe could chime in and give us an answer.

ford discontinued the service 1/1/2021 for cars oldest than 2020 , I have fusion 2017 and the same problem as you , only gas and miles on app
