Your Mom was very proud of you, I’m sure. As a mom, I can say you are a good son. We should all be so fortunate as parents. Bless you, sweetie. Take care of yourself.
My mom has been gone for 8 years now, and I still catch myself thinking about things I want to call up and ask her about. Then I get mad/sad when I remember that I can't. Having siblings helps, especially when both your parents are gone. The best advice I can give you for the first few months is to always carry sunglasses. You never know when you'll be doing fine, and then some song plays on the grocery store Muzak and suddenly you're sobbing in the Safeway. 💔 The firsts (Christmas, birthdays, etc) are always the hardest, so try to be gentle with yourself.
Grieving is a life-long process. I lost my dad in 1996 and my mom in 2003 (a few days before Christmas). The pain lessens with time but it never completely disappears. There are times when something will "trigger" a memory, etc. It can be something like a smell or a song, etc. Expect those times and understand those memories will simultaneously make you cry and smile. Don't suppress your grief or try to push it aside. It's much healthier to work through it and acknowledge it. Losing a parent is tough but it seems you had a great relationship with your mom. You will be glad you maintained that relationship and will have no regrets in the future. I know too many people who regret they didn't make more of an effort to maintain/re-establish a relationship with a parent before they passed. Take care of yourself and know that grief is fluid.
Francesco I'm continuing to pray for you and your family. Give yourself some time. You were a wonderful son to your mother and provided her the best care in her final days. Oh, by the way thanks for introducing me to dossier ! its wonderful.
Francisco, my condolences to you and your family. I wanted to share I went through something similar after my mom passed. The last year was full of not so nice days especially the last few months. I found those memories playing back in my head like you describe. Just know they will eventually ease up and be replaced with an image of the way you remember her before she was ill with her beautiful smile. Again, it’s still fresh for you so be easy on yourself. From what I could see you are a sweet and caring son, love Patrick ❤
Your mom is still with you and I hope that brings you some comfort. I lost mine a few years back and I still think of her daily. But now I think of her being free of pain and illness and I feel that she is at complete peace and knowing that brings me peace. You will always think about her and her love for you will never die. Please don’t forget that and remember to live your life in the best way you know to honor her memory it will help you to heal. Take care Francesco, we all love and support you especially during this time 💙💙💙
Welcome back, Francesco. We all missed you. And btw -- I lost my mom 15 years ago and there are days I STILL find myself picking up the phone to call her. Be well.

Hello. Francesco. So happy to see you. I know you have had a tough time. You were such a great son to your mother. I cannot believe that she passed so quickly but glad she had not a lot of suffering. I nursed my husband for almost three years before he passed. I know that feeling where you want to tell your departed person something and then you remember that they are not with us any more. You did your flights so well. You are so organized. It was very nice to see John when you picked up Mia. Hello John, happy your work is going well. How nice your Captain bought all the crew Starbucks. Little things like that really make your day. Remembering you in my prayers. At least your trip to Disney will cheer you up a little. I know how much you love it there. Stay safe. Blessings from Canada. 🍁 🍁🛫🛬

My Stacey, like myself, takes care of her Mother at home here in Chicago. She like coming in the afternoon or early evening. With her seniority she holding east turns. The only thing I care to remember is my last trip to Barcelona. Also my retirement check on the first and my great friends. I am not sure this will help you now, but: "Look back, but don't stare." You will have your best friend and pet to look forward to for a long time my friend. I will share this with you. I am 69 years old and although my mom passed in 2012 I still will think about calling her. And when I think about behaving badly, she stops me. I would not trade that for anything. I was just thinking of you over the weekend and wondering when you'd be back to vlogging. Good to see you returning to normal life - even if a piece of your heart is missing. Did some research and learned Dossier Woody Sage is a great dupe. Bought it and, yep: all the scent, feels and vibe without the insane price ticket.
