thank you for suffering through this map for us and make it still enjoyable. I started with castle and tried to play this map with a diplomancy hero and got tons of champions at the start of the game. But the creature numbers of the necro town was just to overwhelming i didnt bother to play further. -in the castle area is also a unicorn glade, with a hillfort you can get war unicorns for the one quest
Dude it hurts so bad not to have fire magic on Neela. Thank god you got it on Isra. What makes the map not impossible is how bad the AI is at controlling a map this size. It wastes all kinds of time derping, walking toward your town then portaling home, etc. Eventually you will get DD and that opens things up a bit.
Happy to hear you consider a hero with expert fire. I feel like Berserk is the key, especially considering that I haven’t seen the Pendant of Dispassion even though it’s usually considered junk.
It bugs me that you never equipped the Golden goose to a random hero. I mean, sure, you have sh loads of money, but, including the basic stats of pieces, it's still more than 5k per turn. And you are having a lot of turns. It's just sitting in inventory atm.
After recently beating the map, safe to say Chris will not be pleased about the final fight. Took me 24k fangarms and 600 AAs on level 58 Neela, and still had to have good RNG.

I'm not sure this is correct, but at least you can try? If you have the tomb of air it should give you all spells even if they are disabled by the map author from never showing up in the mage guild. Not sure about this, can at least test. Others might know this better.
He saw the spellbook immediately after getting the tome but no fly or dimensional door because they are disabled on map so you won't get pass the borderguards.
Alright, just finished this map myself Chris. I'm just warning you, the final boss is probably the sickest thing you've ever faced in this game. I needed 200k liches with cloak of the undead king plus a ton of aas, behes, azure dragons and other stuff to beat him. In your case, I don't know how many skeletons you will need, but maybe 1 million will do lol. Seriously though, without the liches I just don't see a way of beating this map. Maybe wait until month 20 to have enough of the other units...
I did a little demon farming on this map but was not too impressed after the early game. The numbers just aren't impressive and the demons are so slow compared to all the special dragons on this map that have ~20 speed.

If you had not enabled tournament rules you'd have a million liches by now
By not equiping that golden goose you missed out on 149500 gold so far.
That's like 3 turns
