I'm so happy we got this documentary, seeing what was really going on behind the scenes of this title is so interesting to see, it really makes me appreciate the work game developers put in.
I have never been more excited to watch the BTS of a production. Literally holding back tears from the the display of love and passion that took to make this amazing game. Genuinely enjoyed the entire video and now will be going back to play the games in honor of this video as well as showing nothing less of gratitude to the team that brought us such an amazing story.
i’m the gamer he just described. I watched the show having never played the game. Played part 1 on PS4. Quickly bought a PS5 to honour part 2. Immediately bought the remastered version. I can’t imagine a more brilliant game. I also can’t fathom the negative energy surrounding any part of it. I agree with that one review: a generation-defining masterpiece. Everyone who lost sleep, birthdays, healthy, lifestyle, habits, and so many other sacrifices should be so proud. It seemed it caused burnout for many, but the result is beyond anything ever created. Thank you to the whole team.

Just got done replaying Part 2, and it was better than i remember. Its a gem of a game. Part 1 was a great game but it’s cliffhanger ending burned holes in my eyes the entire development cycle of Part 2. Naughtydog delivered, so gosh-tootin epic, them pulling it off a third time is a ride im going to enjoy watching. They have my complete faith.
The only thing I can say is Bravo. The complete and the most emotional and lovely game I have ever played. Definitely, I wish for TLoU Part III and I am sure you will find a concept to bring it up. I wanna play it before my life ends.

I appreciate and love the work that they put into it. I loved part 1 so i had to pre order 2. Sadly, I didn't like it but i do not regret playing it. Loved being able to continue the story beyond pt 1
I think a large part of the audience was emotionally incapable of switching perspective to Elli, so for those people the part where you play as her was not enjoyable at all. It's a bold storytelling choice and I enjoyed it a lot, but I think it cost them a lot of good will.

Edit A The way she was like women should fight back sure ok I respect that but men can also have difficulty fight back. It took everything I had to escape from my ex.
Yes, men can be victims too, she never stated they couldn't. Women are just glorified as victims either sexually or physically in most of entertainment media in some way shape or form, even used as a plot line to further the male story. Sadly men being true victims is rarely shown in entertainment media, it's why Joel's death hit that much harder. He was a victim to his own violence.

I have mixed feelings of Halley Gross contributing to THOU2. I think her writing in THOU2 was amazing, but I keep feeling if she stayed working on HBO westworld for longer, they may have made more than 4 seasons of that show and finished it properly.
I mean the Bloodborne IP is owned by Sony same as The Last Of Us and alot of Videogames are inspired between them in fact look at every open world game or zombie games etc... Cheers 💙

My biggest problem with LoU2 is the fact that I can't have a NORMAL conversation about it. I dislike the game. After loving the first one, second one was, FOR ME, poorly written. I didn't care about anything that was happening, I was "whatever" about every single character and I got really bored by the writing. The only thing that kept me going was good gameplay. But if I say that anywhere... I'm labled as a "hater". I'm being called names for simply not liking the freakin video game. On the total oposite side of the spectrum tho, are some lunatics spitting acid towards devs like the ones sending death threads to voice actors. There is no middle ground. You HAVE to either love the game, or hate it. You can't be just "meh, good game, bad writing. I've played worse but also better games before"
Awful game with an awful premise with an awful marketing team, had awful writing with an awful forced message. You can’t just taunt your audience by doing everything that they would hate on purpose, and then play victim when you receive criticism. I have no sympathy for these developers, they knew what they were doing, and they knew what they were getting into.
